You'll have to be able to open a portal exactly where I need to be in order to immediately fire at his head, and then immediately close that portal and open another one in a different place." Lyanör held up her fully-loaded guns. "I've got six rounds in each pistol, so we've got twelve chances. I think it would be best if we managed to make them all, just to be sure that we kill him. We don't get a practice round." She held out her arms, taking aim towards either side of her. "Do you think you can open portals based on where my arm is pointing? I'll shoot with the right, then change the aim of my right arm while I shoot with the left, just so that every bullet can come from a different place." She took a breath. "Sorry, that was a lot. Is it doable?"

Lyanör sprinted around the perimeter, finally coming across Viator, lying on the ground. Her eyes widened. No...he's not... She knelt beside him, checking his pulse and breathing a sigh of relief once she found it. Faint shouts from the highest room instantly took that brief relief away. "Viator, I need you to wake up." She gently shook his shoulder. "Come on, please. I've got a plan, kind of, but I need you."

You could potentially just use "Tien" in place of "dear" Also, this is incredibly good, though it didn't quite move me to tears...just listening to/reading songs kinda rarely does.

Lyanör started to make her way to where Elya was, keeping silent. It was much easier to shoot people when they didn't expect it. Arriving at the top room, Lyanör glanced through the doorway, barely holding back a gag upon seeing Elya's state. Her opponent was a fairly clear shot, but now Lyanör's hands were shaking. She pressed her back against the wall, squeezing her eyes shut and focusing on taking deep--but still silent--breaths. Soon enough, her heart rate had slowed back down and her hands had stopped shaking. She pulled her pistols from her belt and fired directly at Khaos's head. Now that she had shot at him, he would know where she was, if her gunshots hadn't killed him. She ran down the stairs, as quickly and quietly as she could, trying to remember where Elya had told John and Viator to go. The perimeter. She hoped against hope that she would be able to find them--and more so, that Khaos wasn't following her.

I mean...mind harvesting seemed more like my kind of thing, but I'm sure enchanting will be great for you." He looked down, falling into an awkward silence.

Nah, that's not it. It's my Shardiversary!
Two years here, and a *whole bunch* of incredible people who've been added to my life. Seriously, I can't imagine my life without the Shard anymore, y'all have made an imprint in my heart. holy scud that sounds cheesy...
I know I'm going to end up forgetting people no matter what, but I still want to try to remember everyone.

Thank you for being my best friend for the past two years. I'm so, so glad that I met you, and I wouldn't change a bit of our friendship.
You have become one of my very best friends over the past year or so, and I am so grateful for that. Screaming with you about Hunchback and whatever other shows we're currently obsessed with, and just you letting me rant to you about all sorts of things, from my confusing emotions to the randomest stuff in the universe have been some of my favorite things ever
Koi, you have probably become one of my best friends just in the past, like, week and a half. Thanks for getting me re-obsessed with Imagine Dragons and just being an awesome friend!
Vapsy!! I seriously love you so much. You are gorgeous and so sweet and wonderful and I wish you realized how very incredible you are. The few times I've been able to hang out with you have been so much fun and I wish I could see you more often
