I've been to EFY twice, but haven't been able to go to FSY. I technically could this year, since COVID made it so I couldn't when I would've so they'd let me go as an 18 year old, but...I'm alright, I think. I'm busy enough this summer as it is, and my brother (who's an FSY counselor right now) said it's pretty much exactly the same as EFY.

Today, I watched the first one for the first time literally right before going to see the second one. I'm bad at having opinions on movies, I haven't really met a movie I didn't like, BUT I did very much enjoy both movies. I found it........odd and kind of annoying that Charlie (the first movie love interest) WASN'T EVEN MENTIONED in the second one. The first movie ended in such a way that the viewer would think they'd end up together for a long time, that it wouldn't just be a fling, so I didn't really like that she just.....wasn't a part of the second movie at all. They kinda just hit reset on the romance button, cuz apparently a happy, healthy, long relationship isn't good enough, the main guy needs a new girl every movie. Obviously, I don't know the reasons that Charlie wasn't in it, but it still just kinda irks me. Other than the romance, I don't think I had any issues with either of them. Edge-of-the-seat action, I definitely almost cried a few times during the second one (like when Rooster said "Talk to me, Dad" the way Maverick would always say "Talk to me, Goose" or when Rooster said "Come on, Mav, do some of that pilot [crap]," which, iirc, is exactly what Goose said to Maverick one time.)

Well, of all the things to be forced into a conversation about, Mind Harvesting is far from the worst. "It sounded like it'd be more of a challenge than some of the others. Plus, y'know, the whole 'bonding' thing sounds really cool. I've also always loved music, so the musical bit of Mind Harvesting is definitely a pro." And...now I've probably talked too much. Lyanör had picked up some non-food goods that she deemed necessary: tinfoil, better frying pans, pots, more utensils, dish soap, laundry detergent, feminine supplies, and a Lego set she thought was cute. "I think we're probably good."

Tuncay's eyes widened and he quickly looked down to the ground. "Um. Thanks."

Aight bye guys I've officially graduated from the non-adult club

Oh yeah, the screaming was so much fun. The sound person had a fun job making sure our mics were turned wayyy down for the screams XD. We just had backup tracks that they played from the sound booth just over the sound system lol At my school, we usually would have the show professionally recorded, so any actors or techies who wanted could have a way to watch it. However, COVID shut down our run before recording night. We were able to record it later, but because of the limits placed on people in one place at a time, we could only have the actors and like two techies running sound, so it was more of a concert-style recording. Our set was SO cool, it moved around and changed like the woods, we had a frigging carriage that I got to ride in, and it was seriously one of the coolest sets I've gotten to perform on, and we didn't get that for the recording. We didn't get a lot of the blocking and stuff. We didn't get Rapunzel's tower, because we just sang at normal mics. And I still haven't watched the recording because I know it'll make me sob, even though it's been over two years. I've done a lot of theatre, and yeah, a lot of shows have definitely taken a chunk of my heart with them.
