Okay so.
The saber got here.
It is not, in fact, a neopixel blade: it’s a standard base lit.
I assumed, apparently incorrectly, that I was getting a neopixel.
The base lit blade is still cool as hell, but I want a neopixel. So, I’ve called customer support. Unfortunately, I called them 8 minutes after the end of their business day (They stop taking calls at 5 pm local, i called at 5:08, about 15 minutes ago).
I left a voicemail, explaining my predicament, and they’ll get back to me tomorrow sometime.
I do still want to say, this saber is cool as hell.

Spent thirty dollars on two squishmallows at costco yesterday.

Having told Luna I’m gonna marry her one day, and having had her be excited and happy about it, and willing to say yes when that day comes,
Thats completely changed my mindset on so many things.
I think before, I didn’t really know what there was to work towards, other then just make it through a mission and college.
But now, I have something to push forwards to. I have over another year, at least, before I leave for my mission. When I come back, who knows how things will progress, but I know they will progress.
Its incredible to think that one day, I can be hers forever, truly. I absolutely adore her in every conceivable way.
The thought that one day I’ll be able to wake up and see her, laying next to me…
Thats what I’m working towards. That’s what I want.
I want that future.

I’ve been raised LDS, and my faith has had… ups and downs. Most of that is my fault, and I’ve returned more heartily to the church in recent months. But, and forgive the romanticism of it all, but when I decided to tell my now most beloved Luna of my feelings for her, that year ago, I do not believe it me who fabricated that idea. Being raised LDS, I believe in Heavenly Father, His son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. And I believe it was a small, gentle idea from the Holy Ghost to tell Luna how I felt, that started the best year of my life thus far. Not only this, but I’ve felt the light and love of my Father in Heaven many times over throughout the years, most recently a few weeks ago, when I came to Him with a broken heart, begging for help and healing. Which He graciously provided. I will not mock or demean others beliefs. I will not hold my own beliefs above others. I will not force it upon others. You have every right to believe whatever you wish, it does not change a thing about how people should or do feel about you. I’d just like to share my own experiences: Yes, I believe in God. Yes, I feel His love and wonder and pride at me and His creation. Yes, I am excited to act in His name in a couple of years, and to one day return to His realm.

Other things i discovered/that happened last night:
She, for a floral class project, has apparently already been planning our wedding. Very royalcore, from what I heard.
She melts quite easily.
I totally teased her by walking on a little stone wall that was right next to the pond. Meaning, I was very close to falling in and she was like “No, get away from there stop.”
Oh and one other thing,
I hated watching her leave. I wish it hadn’t happened. But alas, it had to.

Tonight I promised that someday, there will be a time when Luna doesn’t have to leave. That someday Luna can stay with me always.
Tonight I promised that someday, I would marry this wonderful, beautiful, absolutely stunningly radiant girl. Tonight I promised that I’m hers. As much as she is mine.
And now I know this:
Our future is there, over the hill, waiting. I’m dead out sprinting towards that. I now know, that she loves me as much as I love her.
I know now that someday I’ll be Forever Hers, and she Forever Mine.

TOTK is a very fun game. I’ve got an hour of gameplay under my belt. It’s annoying getting used to the new ability wheel keybinds. But it’s an awesome game.

Watching a Breath of the Wild tribute video.
I’d like to say my piece.
Breath of the Wild was a monumental game for me. I didn’t get it until 2020, but since I’ve gotten it, I’ve logged several hundred hours in it.
Its been a game that I’ve adored, completely and absolutely.
I’ve bought both DLCs, and beat both of them, although the Master Trials took FOREVER. Champions Ballad was hard, but also super super fun.
I watched the first teaser for Tears of the Kingdom way back in 2019, the first reveal trailer, and I was so. Damn. Excited.
And after delay and delay, it’s finally arrived. My next journey in this vast world of Hyrule.
Heres to hundreds more hours of gameplay.

Today is May 12th, and a year ago today, the wonderful and brilliant @DoomslugLuna agreed to become my girlfriend.
A year ago today, she changed my life. A year ago, she changed the way I think about the future.
I am eternally thankful that it was her that burst into my life. I am exponentially grateful she reciprocated feelings for me. Guy best friends of hers have confessed before, and she’s never reciprocated, according to her.
Guess I’m doing something right.
I am so very very happy we’ve reached this absolutely incredible milestone, and I wish her to know that I love her beyond comprehension, words, and actions. While I get close to expressing it, usually through words, carefully constructed, it is never perfect. There is always more to say.
There will always be more to say.
Luna, I love you. I love you, and I’m so immensely excited for what the next year has in store for us. I thank you for being a part of my life and making the past year one of my happiest. You’ve been there for me in many things, please know you can lean on me if you need to as well.
