just watched spider verse 2.
100/10 movie (except for the cliffhanger)
spoilers and my thoughts:
Spoilerokay this movie was a wild, wild ride, and absolutely incredible i loved every damn second it was so good.
the music, the animation, the voice acting, the story, it was all amazing.
i can’t even- oh my gosh it was awesome.
everything with gwen and miles is adorable, that shoulder touch scene was just “awwww.”
miles getting sent to the wrong universe at the end… didn’t see that coming at all.
im just “YES.”

The Love Types
The Love Arts
The Art of [Insert Type]
The Types: The types of Love, gifting the Arts
- Passion - Short-form, usually dual-partner, emotion based.
- Romance - Long-form, dual-partner, trust and emotion based
- Platonic - Long-form, multi-partner, trust based
- Community - Long-form, multi-partner, intent and trust based.
- Family- Long-form, multi-partner, emotion and trust based.
- Respect - Medium-form, multi-partner, trust and intent based.
- Feign - Medium-form, multi-partner, intent based.
- Codependence - Long-form, multi-partner, emotion and trust based.
Types can be intertwined, which multiplies the chance of receiving the ability of the base Type. E.g. A Romantic relationship draws in aspects of Passion, which multiplies the chance of receiving the Romantic Art.
The Arts: Abilities associated with each Type
- Passion/Fire - Extremely powerful fire summoning and manipulation abilities, hard to master, and once/if you’ve mastered it, the more you use it, the closer you become to turning into a Fire Elemental. If it is not mastered, it fizzles out after a few months.
- Romance/Fire - Basic fire manipulation abilities. Extends to fire of any size. Cannot grow or shrink flame.
- Platonic/Earth - You can “hear” the Earth, and what it hears. Requires learning the Earth Language, which is just you listen to the Earth for a while, and your mind/spiritweb eventually learns.
- Community/Water - You can sense and affect the state of the water. Meaning you can purify or poison, heat or cool down, sense what toxins or minerals are in it, etc.
- Family/Earth - Literally just Earthbending from ATLA, but the more you use it and master it, the more you turn into an Earth Elemental
- Respect/Water - Manipulation of water, but the size/amount of water you manipulate corresponds to the speed at which you turn into an Elemental.
- Feign/Air - Affect non-moisture containing atmospheric weather. Meaning you can draw rain clouds to you, but you can’t summon rain, you can summon or enhance small tornadoes, but for regular tornadoes, you can push it away or draw it to you. You can also summon small lightning storms. The more you do this, and the larger the storm or tornado, the closer you come to becoming an Air Elemental.
- Codependence/Air - You can sense and affect the state of the air. Meaning you can purify or poison, heat or cool down, sense what toxins are in it, etc.
The Elements:
Fire:
- Extremely powerful fire summoning and manipulation abilities, but because it’s associated with Passion, it’s unpredictable and hard to control.
- Basic fire manipulation abilities. Extends to fire of any size.
Earth:

Okay this is super engaging and interesting! I really really like the way it’s set up. It’s simple to understand but still interesting and kind of complex! I do have a few questions though.
1. exactly what does it mean to be an Elemental? Is that a negative thing?
2. hmm… that actually might be my only question. Overall very good job

archivist, to answer your question, the Arts are given based on chance.
once you establish that Type of love, you have mmm i’d say a 20-25% chance of receiving the associated Art right off the bat. of course, if you establish another Type of love with the same person or someone else, that percentage goes up for receiving the ability of the first Type you established, by about 10% per new Type, and about 5% per new relationship in that Type.
and kajsa, an Elemental is a semi-sentient/sapient organism specific to Loves Shardworld (name pending). They are living forms of the Elements. Humanoid figures, made of their Element. They’re semi-hostile, so if you aggravate them or get too close, they’ll attack. They will also attack, with less distance limitations (usually they ignore you unless you get within like 10 feet of them), if you are either Loveless or have a Love Type that does not correspond to their Element. They are quite dangerous and usually stick to themselves, as lone wolves, outside cities and towns, in the fields, forests, and deserts around them.

I’m gonna take a moment real quick to talk about one of my favorite shows.
It’s a little 3 season (well, 2.75 season) show on Disney called The Owl House.
Here are some of my favorite things about the show:
1. The protagonist, the ever lovable, quirky, and incredible person Luz Noceda, is witty, adaptable, and compassionate. She adapted quite quickly to being thrown into this strange Demon Realm.
2. Luz was not given immediate access to the magic of the Demon Realm, as some protagonists get power very quickly. Rather, much of Season 1 focuses on her learning to use unconventional methods under the supervision of unconventional characters that are INCREDIBLE AND ADORABLE AND AMAZING (refer to King for proof).
3. The friends Luz makes are just everything a friend and person should be. Flawed, for character development and realism, and so we can relate and adore them. Compassionate and good, like Luz, making them good matches for her. Willow and Gus are just… they’re incredible.
4. Rather than introduce all the major characters in the beginning like some shows, the more we watch the show, the more we are introduced to this complex, wonderful and magical community of Bonesborough and slightly beyond. We don’t see much of Hunter before Season 2, and once we start seeing him, he’s initially what we would call a “bad guy.” As the show progresses, he learns for himself, and his arc is one of my favorites (besides Amity’s, of course).
5. And on that note, let’s talk about Amity, as well as her relationship with Luz. In Season 1, Amity is your typical teachers pet, straight (girl) a student, and popular girl. And then, Luz jumps into her life covered in Abomination goop. The way the relationship of these two progresses, and how it affects both of them, is absolutely my favorite part of this show. The way we see Amity soften, open up, and become an amazing person is beautiful, and speaks to Luz’s ability to be a positive influence in peoples lives. One of my favorite scenes of their relationship is when Luz opens up at the Grom tree about her father passing away. The way Amity is there for her, and offers to help her somehow do the ceremony Luz would normally do in the Human Realm with her mother is… wonderful. Luz looks tired, and sad, and she is, but she has a smile on her face. Because Amity is there, and Luz isn’t alone, she seems a bit more content and happy, considering how she had been forcefully ignoring this ritual thing the whole entire episode. Their relationship is incredible and I adore it. It’s written perfectly and is everything a relationship should be. I should know, I’m an expert on this.
6. Season 3. Season 3 was… a work of art. Despite being brought back from the brink of being canceled, and from what I heard, quite rushed, Season 3 gave us everything we needed, wanted, and deserved in two 45 minute specials, and one 1 hour special. The last episode is my favorite based purely on the soundtrack alone.
All in all, if you have access to Disney+, I highly, highly recommend the incredible work of art and beauty that this show is. I almost cried so many times watching it, and it’s just… It’s wonderful. In so many ways.
Just wanted to say all that, pay a little tribute to one of my favorite shows.

what i feel is indescribable.
i’ll talk about the sealing and celestial rooms.
the sealing room filled me with such excitement, anticipation, and hope that i scarcely can describe it. i am so excited to be in a room like that, to kneel across from my love, and be sealed to her eternally.
the celestial room was the most peaceful room i’ve ever been in. ever.
all thoughts of the world, anything that made me anxious, passed my mind, filled only with the beauty of the Lord, and the beauty of the room i was in.
the temple is beautiful.
what awaits me inside is beautiful.
the Lord and His teachings through Him and His son are beautiful.
it’s all so, so incredible.
indescribably perfect and amazing.
