  1. It's time to begin closing games once again. Thanks to everyone who played, and congratulations to the Rebel Honorspren, Danex and Archer, for their victory. A huge thanks goes to Illwei for running the game. Though the rules were simple, the majority exe was a wonderful twist to see in a QF. If you're new to Sanderson Elimination and would be interested in joining a game, check out the SE General Rules & Etiquette Policy for a breakdown of how each game format works. Game signups are pinned to the thread for at least a week before they're locked and the game begins, so keep an eye out if you're interested in joining. If you would like to run a game, please post in the GM Signups & Discussion Thread and request to be added to the list. Available game types include Long Games, Mid-Range Games, Quick-Fix games, and the new Break Tank Games. We encourage you to have a specific ruleset in mind before signing up. Head to The Art of Game Creation to get feedback on rules you're considering. We have plenty of experienced players and GMs who can help you refine any game. You can also send the rules (including secret and blackout rules) to our game approval committee, which includes Stink, Amanuensis, Sart, Fifth Scholar, Straw, Kasimir, and Archer, as well as our mods, little wilson, Devotary of Spontaneity, Elbereth, Araris Valerian, or myself. We will help you out in any way we can. Thanks again to everyone who made this game and community possible. We look forward to killing seeing you in future games!
  2. Hello everyone! Just stopping by to introduce myself as the IM this game. Don't forget that if you have concerns, problems, want to vent, or just want to share funny memes, I'll be around. Feel free to PM me or ping me if you see a problem coming up. I will try to keep a close eye on things, but likely won't be able to read through every post. In case I happen to do any RP, I'll be Nightowl, an epic with the ability to fly and go invisible in darkness.
  3. This may be a better question for the Art of Game Creation thread, as that's generally where we discuss rulesets.
  4. Alright, updating future games. @StrikerEZ will be running the next LG (sign-ups should be posted by the end of the week). While the QF is still going, we can work on getting MR rules approved and ready. Since Striker is running his game and Experience has passed in favor of running LG84, @The Unknown Aon gets first choice. If they pass, then it goes to @|TJ|.
  5. Experience's rules aren't quite ready yet, so he's chosen to take the next LG. @Ashbringer, are you still available to run your game?
  6. All of these should be there. I left the games you are signed up to run with someone else as inactive. Please let me know if that can change. EDIT: With the end of the AG, let's look at the next LG. @Experience I believe you have one ready, and are at the top of the list. Have you sent the rules to the committee?
  7. Congratulations to Illwei and Azmine for winning round one, and The Unknown Aon and Xino for their win in the second round of this rather unique game! Thanks to Sart for running it and bringing us yet another exciting ruleset. I would definitely be interested in seeing this style run more. Thanks to everyone who played in both rounds! As always, if anyone would like to try their hand at running a game, please get ahold of Wilson, Devotary of Spontaneity, Elbereth, Araris Valerian, or myself, or post in the GM Signups & Discussion Thread. Not only will we get you added to the list, but we'd also be more than willing to help out in any way we can. You can also ask questions and get some hints and feedback from everyone in our Art of Game Creation thread. With all the games that we've run so far, we have plenty of experienced GMs that can help you refine any game you're thinking about. If you would rather keep some detail secret, or are self-conscious about posting in thread (there's really no need to be; while we do slaughter each other, we are very polite about it), then I'm sure one of our fantastic committee members (Amanuensis, STINK, Sart, Fifth Scholar, Straw, Haelbarde, and Young Bard) would be more than willing to help you out in private. Thanks again to everyone that played, and we look forward to killing seeing you in future games!
  8. Another thanks to Ashbringer for bringing us this wonderful game! Congratulations to my fellow eliminators for successfully defeating or corrupting the rest of the Unmade! Though we are labeled as the bad guys, we know Sja-anat's purpose is a better one. As always, if anyone would like to try their hand at running a game, please get ahold of Wilson, Devotary of Spontaneity, Elbereth, Araris Valerian, or myself, or post in the GM Signups & Discussion Thread. 9. One final congratulations to the Skaa for outsmarting the Ministry agents! We want to thank Araris and congratulate him for a successful GMing experience. This was a fun one to IM. The locations mechanic certainly added an exciting level of intrigue to the whole thing. 10. Congratulations to the Krell for finally quashing those pesky humans in Alta. Though it was a small game, it was still a fun one to play. Thanks to Matrim's Dice for running it! 11. Thanks again to Lotus for this fantastic and unique card-based game! Congratulations to the Knights Radiant for securing a village victory! 12. Ah. The screenshot came before I updated the sheet tonight. I ran that MR, so it's gone now, and both Striker and Experience are no longer marked as inactive/busy.
  13. I think you meant to tag Experience, since mine is at the end of the MR list, but yes, Striker is at the top of the list, whether or not he chooses to run the AN game (might be a bit close to the AG for that). Speaking of which, I've updated the sheet again. If you find any errors or want things clarified, please ping me.
  14. What Matrim said. You were definitely not the one to throw the game. No one did, really. Part of it was some serious luck for the elims (RNG really favored Archer in the coin tosses), but mostly Archer's frightening ability to talk his way out of having claimed elim D1. I thought for certain the game would be over because of that alone.
  15. Aftermath: To the Edge of the Galaxy We failed. We died. We got to the edge of the galaxy, to the place of nothin'. And that's what we became. Walin was executed! They were a Mechanic with the Crew. Steedancer was killed! They were a Pilot with the Crew. Archer was attacked, but survived! Vote Count: Walin (3) - Devotary, Teia, Archer Teia (1) - Matrim The Reavers have won! The Alliance has also won because the Crew failed to uncover the Secret of Miranda! Player List: Thanks to everyone who played, even if you didn't understand the setting! I'll talk about my thoughts on the rules later. Docs: Master Spreadsheet Dead Doc Reaver Doc
  16. Cycle Five: Little Soul, Big World (write up maybe) Illwei has been executed! They were a Psychic with the Crew! Matrim's Dice was attacked, but survived! Vote Count: Illwei (3) - Matrim, Devotary, Archer Archer (3) - Illwei, Walin, Teia One more secret has been found! A total of two pieces of the Secret of Miranda have been uncovered! Player List: This turn will end Friday, December 31 at 12 p.m. (noon) PST.
  17. Cycle Four: We Have Done the Impossible, and That Makes Us Mighty write up eventually, probably Archer has been executed, but survived! Matrim's Dice has been attacked, but survived! Vote Count: Archer (5) - Illwei, Matrim, Devotary, Teia, Steeldancer Steeldancer (1) - Archer No additional pieces have been revealed. One piece of the Secret of Miranda has been revealed so far. Player List: This turn will end Wednesday, December 29 at 12 p.m. (noon) PST.
  18. Hmm. That's a good point. I think I need a day to not worry about waking up and doing things. I am extending this turn an extra 24 hours. It will now end December 27 at noon PST.
