I can probably run mine. It was a rerun anyways, so I'll dredge up the old rules and do some tweaks.

Long Game 87: Choose Your Own Manywar
Elandera replied to Steeldancer's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The secret wincons concern me, which should be your number one reason to avoid treating it as a standard Village/Elim game. But I understand the draw. Definitely elim-reading Fifth for this comment...- 307 replies

Eran is lonely. She misses her sister and feels bad for leaving the doggos without their caretaker. She will gladly take the bloodhounds and give them all the hugs and cuddles and scratches they could want

So, we've got: Ashbringer - ??? Steel - Village from Mat scan Mat - Village from Alvron scan (unless 2 elims left) Araris - Village from JNV vote Alvron - Village from Stick kill Elandera - Village from JNV vote The least secure of the village reads would be Araris and myself, since bussing is possible. Or if there were 4 elims to start, Mat and Steel. I'm apt to opt for Occam's Razor here, though. Ash is the last elim.

Mid-Range Game 58 - To Kill a Skyeel
Elandera replied to The Unknown Medallion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
You're welcome. Also, @Archer did a write-up for Day Two of the game. It's finally been edited in. Sorry for the delay. -
We've got 3-ish hours left, if my math is right. Anyone else with thoughts? I think we have a grand total of two votes so far on two different people.

I'm home and have spent a bit of time just chilling. Time to look at the past. First note, my suspicion of Steeldancer is gone. In JNV's first post of D2, she basically throws all the shade at Steel in what looks like an effort to cast doubt on him without actually being the one to act. This reads differently than a teammate trying to distance. She ends up voting on me for what seems like mostly self-preservation reasons. I'm also willing to trust Steel's roleclaim for now (though if we could get confirmation, it'd be nice). Players left (excluding myself) and my reads Ashbringer - Largely hasn't contributed. Might be worth investigating further. Matrim - Hmmm. I keep wanting to assign an elim read to him, but Stick's vote is the only thing holding me back. The vote count when she voted Mat was all single votes (about 5, I think). Is Stick the kind of player to risk a >20% chance of accidentally exing a teammate in order to distance? Steel - Mild village Araris - Village for the vote on JNV xino - I used to think village for his vote on JNV, but based on counts, his vote disappeared (even after it was discovered late). Maybe it was distancing? Alvron - Village I think I'll go with Xino As a side note, I am the Half-Masked one, a la Phantom of the Opera. I didn't want to claim until I actually had time to look through the threads and posts. I am also a steelrunner, though haven't opened PMs because PMs are eh. I have stored up charges, though, and have orders to open some at the end of this turn.

@Steeldancer Performative was perhaps not the right word. (I'm tired and on a 10 hour road trip by myself, so words are not my thing at the moment.) The claims just seemed excessive? Still not the right word. I know they were prompted in the Synod doc, and it makes sense to start laying all cards on the table, but I don't know. It just felt off. I don't think you're the best exe option today, despite my suspicion (or maybe because it's only vague and insubstantial). Matrim makes a good point about two elims sentries. While it's not outside the troll potential of the GMs, I also don't think they'd have that on top of having a full feruchemist. Two full feruchemists, maybe. Once I'm done with my drive and have rested a bit, I should be able to actually contribute a vote this turn.

Steel, it's not really anything concrete, but your first two posts this turn seem largely performative. I'm not going to vote yet, because I don't want this vote to be based on vague impressions. We're doing good so far, but I don't want to get too far down conspiracy rabbit holes when we have actual data to analyze.

Something about Matrim seems off, but I was very wrong about Archer and they seemed to both fill the same category in reason for suspicion. I need to re-evaluate before I cast a vote there. @Steeldancer Why do you think my vote could have been a misdirection? My suspect pool from most likely to least likely is this: 1. Steeldancer 2. Matrim 3. Ashbringer 4. Xino

I agree with Mat here for once. Archer is too much of a question mark. I'm not getting as much of an elim read from Steel as I am from Archer, so I'd rather the Synod use the kill there. If it doesn't work, then we can revisit Steel and other candidates for the exe the next turn.

That makes me feel significantly better. Archer has definitely slid to a solid elim, and I'm fighting with my read on Matrim. Stick leaving the vote there makes me lean village, but some of their arguments last turn really set off the elim bells. Current reads: Illwei = Village Alv = Village Xino = Village Archer = Elim Matrim = Very mild elim Steel and Araris = Neutral (which makes me a little ) Ash = Light village

@JNV, it wasn't a poke vote in the traditional sense. It looks like a distancing vote. A vote placed with a prompt to act, and then removed after no response and no reason for the replacement vote.

What Illwei said. That vote swap is odd. Archer has moved to a suspicious mild elim read, depending on JNV's alignment. Mildly better read on Xino, but has the same caveats as Archer's read.

When did my joints start creaking every time I moved? When did I start groaning every time I had to pick something off the floor? When did I get old? I use a crude pair of scissors to trim the dead leaves from a plant in the window of my home. I should honestly give up on the thing. I am no gardener. Plants die when they see me. Not like my sister, who grows the best garden in Tathingdwen. My thoughts turn sour as I consider how long it's been since I've seen her. And with the Spiked in the area, it may be much, much longer before I'd see Era again. I wonder briefly if she can sense my longing. Twins were supposed to have that kind of connection, right? I'd never felt it, but Era said she could. Maybe when things settled, I'd take a trip to see her. I'd just need to get someone to watch my animals for a bit. ~~~~ Striker was an interesting kill choice. He was contributing pretty well, so it wasn't in the meta of killing the one who provides the least information. Most of my vote on JNV is for vibes, but now that I'm re-reading D1, I have more reason. Stick voted JNV in what feels very much like a teammate poke vote. A bit of a prompt to offer more reads, then a swap to Mat with no response from JNV and no reason behind the Mat vote (about five hours before the end of turn, and it was around the last time they posted). JNV also got defensive of Stick N1, but cast a shadow of doubt on Stick in the same post. Illwei, to answer your question, I'm getting a village impression from your posts based on the good points and good analysis. Not sure I want to say you're village, though, because, well, I don't trust you. Other reads: JNV = More elim than my earlier very mild elim statement Matrim = Mild village Ashbringer = Neutral (eying suspiciously) Araris = Neutral, but maybe village

I am not surprised to see Alv claim that. My first thought at seeing Stick's flip was "only Alv has that kind of accuracy." Just fyi, I'll be hit and miss this turn because part of it is during my niece's graduation celebrations. I'll do my best to keep up with things, though. Couple of quick reads (based mostly on gut): Alv = Village (pending confirmation of kill shot) JNV = Very mild elim Archer = Mild village Steel = Mild village

Mid-Range Game 58 - To Kill a Skyeel
Elandera replied to The Unknown Medallion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The turn should have ended about 40 minutes ago, so I'm closing this thread for TUN. Next turn TBA. No PMing in the meantime. -
Alv, I will make the appropriate sacrifices of animal crackers to the Gods of Luck and Chance in acknowledgement of my mistake of calling them fickle. Steel is Steel and I get the rule thing. That's not really AI, though, because if he was that lazy in reading the rule post, he could be that lazy reading any doc he's involved with if they're trying to provide answers. (Been there, done that. Laziness reigns.) Stick, I'm not sure it's a village read of TUN, as much as it is a NAI read from that particular suggestion. I haven't played with them much, but I think that sort of thing lines up with how they've played in the past regardless of alignment. Illwei, best chart. 10/10 accuracy.
