Yeah There has been indeed alot of remarked similarities with the voidbringers and maybe weird remarks(that might be hints foreshadowing or some rust) of chasmfiends from some characters

The Legendary Stubborness of the Stonewards
goody153 replied to DrakeMarshall's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Rofl(idk why i find this funny) but yeah nice theory. It would clash with the stonewards+windrunners leaving their shards but it makes sense if there were stonewards who didn't give up their shards. -
Definitely not cheery but damnation i like this theory it makes alot of sense as to why the Radiants would betray their spren and it also fits the "save your own skin vs do the Honorable act" that is somewhat a theme of stormlight.

Her allomantic strength when it comes to pewter might just be stronger than Ham tbh. I mean Elend has a much more powerful zinc/brass(could literally soothe around 10-30k koloss alone ofc with duralumin he's no Rashek with reverse compounding/savantism), his steel pushing is pretty ridiculous and his pewter notably could match against the biggest Koloss in a straight up parrying no problem. But he's definitely far from a savant in all his metals. But he is definitely stronger than anybody when it comes to allomancy. Vin is probably on her way but still not savant. I mean with spook he became savant since he's been burning tin for a long time and what really pushed him to become savant was after Clubs death where he wasn't really ever turning Tin off like ever. He just kept burning Tin.

I found the game Zahel played as out of place too but i didn't realize that it was a pocketsized version of the game they played at Endowments world. Though that scene immediately connected to me when i learned Zahel is Vasher lol

I don't really know how cognitive shadows manifest (i don't think Leras was a cognitive shadow at the point of Secret history) wasn't there also a theory that Devotion and Dominion formed cognitive shadow(maybe they get formed if the shard dies or something ? but nightwatcher is supposedly similar to what Stormfather is to Honor) or something(i read it from one of the theories here). Yeah i don't have the answers about those sorry lol

Well Adolin will finally make use of his fashion knowledge he gets from fashion magazines Alekthar version that he's been reading lol

Vessels of shards don't have "senses" like the 5 senses that's a physical thing, Remember the times that Vin became preservation everything she did that was humanlike was just a projection and not really happening (like frowning). "Feelings" is counted as part of the mind not a separate thing. I suggest you reread the last book of the trilogy(at least the epigraphs i guess) and secret history(more closely) i think it would probably answer alot of your questions. Well at least this works for me from time to time(like at the 2nd read of Stormlight Archives i finally understood the background stuff of it) Rashek has been fighting Ruin for around 1000 years with Ruin's influence but he still left to go the beyond even though he could stay and continually ensure the survival of mankind cause there is no doubt already that he loves the people in Scadrial but why leave then ? You seem to think that if can stay in the cognitive realm and not get sucked in the Beyond you can help up stuff without power like Kelsier does. No, Kelsier got lucky since he has preservation on his side. Without a shards help you can literally do nothing makes it worst if you are going against another shard. Might as well leave the premise. Besides you already know about Leras plans of making another person take up his shard and suicide against Ruin, there's really no point for him to stay since he has done his job.

Not sure about that he pretty much showed himself to Wax at SoS(the first time Sazed introduced himself to Wax he pretty much made a image of himself in Wax's presence on the part they were talking about "Gods hands are tied" ) like Ruin does alot of times with Vin back in the trilogy. (Both Wax and Vin had hemalurgic ring on) Based on Secret History Ruin rarely showed himself in the cognitive realm. So i guess they don't really have to. Even Sazed can go awol in the cognitive realm in the same book after his ascension. This part never took place since Ruin never recovered his missing power that balanced them out(he got killed by Vin before he could retrieve the Atium's). If he got his power Preservation is pretty much screwed You are missing a really important part which is that Preservation literally gave up his mind to seal Ruin. Not give up a part of his power. Losing a power won't mean losing the mind since Endowment, Odium, Honor and Cultivation should've lost their mind since they split their power through splinters. Lacking of mind(so he's gonna get outplayed and stuff) and slowly getting rekt by Ruin. (slowly killing the vessel not the style Odium does) Both Ruin and Preservation said at some point that Leras sacrifice was made when he made the prison to seal Ruin which pretty much kills him eventually since Ruin is not just gonna sit around with a weakened shard trying to meddle in his process of ENDing things. He should've reappeared for sure but he probably choose to get sucked into the Beyond (like Rashek, Ati and Vin all three had the choice to stay but they didn't)

damnation i love it . I wonder if there will be people cosplaying as Marsh and the actual Marsh coincidentally was sent by Harmony to that certain cosplay event that would be pretty lulz. I'm also interested in knowing what will happen with aluminum economy in Era 3. And also since tv news, video camera and other stuff are coming up that time(like internet should read at Era if it's similar to our world) then i wonder if they would have lots of discovering about Kandra's or the Kandra become a Urban legend. but the most curious i would be is about Harmony and how much does the shards intent sunk in (actually even in Wax and Wayne it felt like he talks like a shard (like seeing the need of the threat of death and not actually not preventing murders which seems like Ruin's intent in his interpretation)) like i would be curious if i would see him acting as Ruin (cause sometimes he just feels like he's pure preservation except the tolerance to his minions killing part)

Didn't Syl also say "I'm only as dead as your oaths Kaladin" and also in the spoiler kaladin chapter for SA3 but i thought Syl was actually dead and Kaladin just revived her. Afaik one of the characters mentioned(probably pattern) once that something could've been done to the dead shardblades if their knights were alive (so so long as the knights were alive they could probably revive the shards ? idk)
-
I remember some WoB about who can take up the shards but Mr. Sanderson just rafo'd the question. I think considering that the (Secret History Spoilers) That theory gets questionable since Sazed managed to picks up the shard of Ruin without any trouble(like Vin picking up Preservation without literally any problems unlike ). I suspect anybody can't just pick up vessel-less shards without maybe connecting with the shard or something ? I mean by the time Sazed picked up Ruin he already understood the good sides of Ruin like acceptance and peace over things if he had to pick up Ruin earlier when Tyndwyl was still alive or when he was still stuck in the state of depression he probably couldn't or if he could he would've been overwhelmed by the Shard intent(like what happened with Ati) or get resisted by a chunk of the power(like what happened with (SH Spoiler) ) But that's just a theory

Yeah Harmonium isn't very pleasing to pronounce in my head or mouth. Elendium sounds sick. No it's not the bands afaik. We haven't seen Harmonium yet i think. That metal has also been famously been speculated by non-other than the Lord Mistborn (according to one of the elendel newspapers ) saying "having the has sazed a metal" or something along like that lol
-
We don't know the intent of that shard, WoB just said he wants to "stay away" from Odium so it could any shardic intent that is more pacificistic with a smart vessel(maybe). And the "survive" theme isn't even originally from Kelsier it's from Leras(preservation) he implanted that on Kelsier.
-
That could be as well but i suspect it has more to do with after Warbreaker since he and Nightblood had a "falling out" and Nightblood liked Vivenna afaik(though it could also raise a question since Nightblood also knows Vasher's wife but he didn't recognize her death .. maybe she only recognized the concept of death after Vivenna's but that's just a theory).

I mean she doesn't to do what inquisitors do just maybe it's simpler explanation that if rannette sees a metal and it doesn't have ironlines towards it that just means it's either aluminum or metalmind.
-
Maybe it's kinda like how Inquisitors could see through burning iron/steel. Like they could determine which are metals and which are not. So if Rannete doesn't have see any lines to the material of metal or gun then it's either a heavily-charged metalmind or a aluminum. Since she can see it's metal and it should have lines but it doesn't so she just figured it's not aluminum.
-
Or she could have died you know Vasher/Zahel did say to Kaladin "choose which makes you sleep better at night , i wish i did" maybe that meant he let Vivena die or something idk. I really want the theory about her being Dalinar's wife though for some reason.
-
Maybe she died long ago ? Or maybe his mother passed away due to illness or something(or at least they thought it was illness if it was not the case) that's why they learned to accept it ? Also when did her mother die (was it mentioned in case i missed it) ? Though her mother does have some influence on Adolin which he takes to heart(when it comes to dueling he always has this habit before a duel to put her mother's prayer chains in his pocket).
-
I'd go for the hermalurgic spike in the eye acts like a way to tape or staple(whatever is the right analogy) to Kelsier's cognitive and spiritual self to some physical form and he just used physical gold to retain his old self(since it has scratches on the arms) which is practically how Kelsier pictured himself.
-
Kinda off-topic but i'm curious why Rashek surpassed Duralumin knowledge(it's pretty much just kinda google translate and the allomantic metal doesn't seem to be that problematic ) and i certainly can understand why he hid Electrum even as feruchemical ability that metal will just destroy the entire atium economics he relied upon if one of the allomancers happen got curious and discovered what it does.
-
There is apparently a 15 year gap between book 5 and 6 and also apparently Dalinar is Mr. Sanderson's pet character so i doubt he dies or goes off-screen not until the end of stormlight archives i suspect. If ever he does die. Yeah Adolin is a pretty strong supporting character already also not every great character has to have that much exposure (after all he's not the focus of the story it's Dalinar, the KR's, Szeth and suriving Odium) like for example from mistborn i found Marsh, The Lord Ruler(to an extent) and Allriane strong supporting characters but alas the story doesn't revolve around them. Adolin already has character developments like he gradually becomes more and more warlike and utilitarian. IMO while i'd like to see Mr. Sanderson going for the reviving shardblade route for Adolin giving too much focus to Adolin even though i like the character might be dull since his character while admirable and humble(surprisingly) his character isn't very complex and honestly i don't find alot of things that could be explored about Adolin. For example i like shallan's pov but i don't wanna read all about scholarship, exchange banters, shallans struggle about hiding from the past and seeking the truth stuff like all the time. Like i think Adolin's addition to the story is already a healthy dose

Yeah Tanavast == Almighty == Honor. Pretty sure Honor is dead by that time, referenced by many in the books(Syl, Dalinar and Stormfather), even in epigraphs it's mentioned and is casually mentioned by Mr Sanderson in some of his WoB as one of the splintered shards that Odium killed. I thought the "Storm" that Jasnah meant was metaphorical or maybe prophetic like with visions and such. As for the storm named Everstorm(the name of the storm that the parshendi summoned and is apparently his own God-spren(prolly) or the opposite of Stormfather) apparently is actually new from what i understood of Dalinar&Stormfather's conversation does the same thing which is bring back Voidbringers but is a new way of doing it. So it's functionally the same i suspect. Maybe kinda like how Flash Drive(USB device) and cloud storage (dropbox , google drive) store files in different ways and have their own advantage and disadvatages but they still functionally fulfills the same purpose which is practically storing files. Like maybe old method of how Odium creates voidbringers is less efficient harder etc while everstorm is a better method but still practically does the same thing. It's probably just because back then Odium didn't have the freedom to do such thing and summon his own version of highstorm(Everstorm) because of the intervention of Honor and Cultivation who didn't go hiding.(you would understand what i meant if you read mistborn secret history and the original trilogy but i'm not saying the details just incase you haven't). Maybe time flows differently in Shadesmar that she didn't know she was there for a long time after the wreckage? Or maybe she got teleported somewhere else before that like somewhere disasterous maybe Braize(crazy assumption) or maybe just somewhere else(like a place full of ghostbloods or sons of honor or maybe Skybreakers or whatever that got her into trouble) ? Maybe ? Maybe she ended in some other world idk. Except for #1 i could be wrong with 2-3-4 and i understood it wrongly.
