Well it's a flashback chapter technically (yes we are getting dalinar past chapters woooo) here is the Dalinar war flashback chapter . There's another flashback chapter where Dalinar first met her wife but i can't find it. Also Kaladin returning to Heartstone teaser chapter. I think you could find others with google because i found them before that way and right now i can't do that.

He meant the teaser chapters of Dalinar's past for Oathbringer. He's pretty badass

Wait what do you mean you haven't read Warbreaker ?!?! (no seriously read it .. Nightblood being in Stormlight gave me so much hype) Yeah i follow and await the release of the new books many book series but i think i am most excited with Oathbringer. Brandon Sanderson left so much room for intrigue and if the previous two books are a reliable guide then book 3 might be a blast and it'll most likely even get better.

I thought we caught an obvious foreshadowing with all the adolin talking to the shard and stuff. Also not all Radiant orders have to be like the honorable stuff that Windrunners/BondSmiths seem to be made of. But i suspect it would be a very different process if he's going to be a radiant. Renarin didn't have to go through traumatic experience to become a Radiant so i guess he's gucchi now ? He's experienced alot of development for himself lately. Dustbringer ? I'm leaning on the WoB where Mr. Sanderson just smiles and nods upon the suggestion of Dustbringers Adolin can LEAD and he's a natural soldier , big difference between him and renarin, Not every commander or lead fighter has to be radiant , nor not every politician has to be a radiant. He'll stay relevant for sure.

Uhmm i don't think preservation actually knows about the intricacies Hemalurgy aside from really seeing how it's done. Any WoB or Epigraph i've read so far about people who knows about the ins and outs of hemalurgy always points out either Ruin/Ati or Sazed. There is nobody else mentioned, it's always the holder of Ruin. I think the WoB just meant about the final battle between Elend and Marsh where both person was fueled by Preservation and Ruin respectively. And both afaik were fueling allomancy (and maybe feruchemy too by Ruin to Sazed).

Hoid don't have all knowing knowledge and wisdow. He couldn't even find preservation's shardpool when he wanted to back in the WoA days(he ended up looking for the well of ascension around the terris mountains even though it's just on Luthandel all the time where he came in from lol). While i also think he's not after taking over another shard he doesn't seem like he actually has what it takes to take up a shard or be at the right moment somebody drops a shard for him to take it. There's also the shard picking up issues that made Vin and Sazed perfect in picking up the shards while the others are not. Yeah he was afaik saw the shattering of adonalsium and knows Rayse(he was friends with Rayse can't remember where i read that) and the knows the other original shard bearers.

Kaladin will surely be using Shardspear i wouldn't worry about that, he just happens to be also capable of using the shard as a sword (though it's not as good he is with the spear). Also there's no need to turn his blade into a spear if there's no fullblown fight or something. As for Syl i thought at this point Syl is already as complete as she could get personality wise (not memory-wise) so she's not changing according to this WoB but rather it's probably just her whim to start dressing up like a woman of alekthar. She did wear cap and a storegirl attire once (where Kaladin asked if she knew the word "Odium" then she detransformed and hissed at Kaladin) back Kaladin's bridgerunning days so i guess she doesn't really mind cosplaying from time to time.

It was most likely Ruin trying to spike Spook but actually managed to do so. Afaik it was mentioned in one of the epigraphs that Ruin has a hard time manipulating in order to spike people (probably meant without the help of steel inquisitors holding somebody down)

Yeah Kaladin's bridgeboy days has one of the best emotional impact on me out of all that i've read. I especially love reading the parts where bridge 4 started turning around and becoming more and more loyal to Kaladin.

What happens to the honorblade we will learn next book(asked Mr. Sanderson on reddit). I can totally see this happening, with Dalinar wielding the honorblade but probably not flying around like storming superman even so.

Yeah the technology part is indeed interesting didn't know about that till i read this thread. Well Harmony did leave a verbatim of literally everybook inside his metal minds(some of them where the old technologies which he complained to wax as nobody took advantage off or too slow to build). I think the progression is actually slow rather than fast even though the entire world was destroyed and remade. Since it's been 300 years and they had no difficulties with food/water+ the centralization thing harmony did (by putting everybody on the same place) yet the technology remained barely ahead of the technology from khlennium BR(before rashek).

Getting shardblade probably depends on the orders ? (like maybe Windrunners get at the 3rd words) and maybe others get earlier or later.

damnation i like this theory. It even hits the theme "self-preservation vs doing everybody a favor/doing what's honorable". Have an upvote, i like this better than the "Radiants also go braize after death" theory which also kinda fits the same theme.

Actually (Secret HIstory) Maybe that's what it looks like when somebody undeserving or unconnected enough gets the Shard until like you said Yata the shard turns you into like a puppet completely twisting your thoughts into a version of you (whether kind or cruel) like had a way of implementing your beliefs with the shards intent like somebody who has insane confirmation bias.(kinda like Ati feels like he's doing everybody a favor by ending them lol)

I'm very interested with the Skybreakers, partly because they are the destructive version of Windrunners(they act as enforcers so it's kinda obvious plus they have the absolutely mobility surge of gravitation and surge of division(dustbringers surge) which i assume is destructive), partly also because they are in a weird state as their head herald is still there but may or may not be crazy. Also the guy who's supposedly gonna represent the story of the skybreakers has storming Nightblood. BondSmiths come 2nd for they are bonded with godsprens (it's gonna be so fun to read Dalinar talking with the stormfather casually and see how far would the stormfather help him .. it's kinda like watching Vin and Ruin's interaction all over again except they aren't enemies). I would also be interested how they balance their radiant life between political stuff, leading the radiants and being a KR that fights.
