  1. I meant about this quote that Ishar basically threatened to destroy them all, we also know that Nale was the last guy who took responsibility of an Order since he thinks it's needlessly vain (although this is unrelated). I just said that Ishar is equivalent to Bondsmith since he's their patron/head(and the radiant surges are based upon his honorblade) kinda like Jezrein with the winrunners, Nale with the Skybreakers , Ash with the Lightweavers etc.
  2. The honorblades only give the surges, the heralds themselves have other things that they could do (so far we've only seen Taln and Nale as the closest to combat ..and Taln could catch dart bolts midair without warning , i suspect that's just one thing). I think Honorblades are pretty much perfect for heralds. I mean we do know that Ishar(the bondsmith equivalent of heralds) practically threatened to wipe the Radiants if they did not follow their orders before (that should give us a hint that they probably could kill Knight Radiants alone).
  3. I think the "using larger amount of stormlight" happened to have an effect on the last fight between the two, i remember Szeth backpedaling when he got hit by Kaladin and he wasn't even healing himself as he prioritized getting a safe distance between him and Kaladin (i think this part happened when Kaladin was transforming Syl multiple times from hammer to knife etc)
  4. Szeth got hit by Kaladin's shardblade in his fights he was still able to function when he shouldn't. I think it's all about perception(Mr. Sanderson mentioned this) as to why Szeth thinks shardblade wouldn't heal, kinda like his Honorblade requiring 10 heartbeats even though it's not really alive and the reviving is only needed for dead sprens but this happens cause Szeth thinks it needs 10 heartbeats.
  5. I don't remember Wyndle ever saying this.I don't even remember the spren specifically mentioning Cultivation(just mother but Wyndle could be referring to Nightwatcher like how Syl refers Stormfather as her own father) like Syl does with Honor alot.
  6. It's not really impossible. He's quite genuine after all just not very competent (easily fooled and sometimes goes overboard), i don't think it's impossible for him. While it's not sure that what he sees are sprens just like Jasnah and Shallan did but it is a similar experience he's mentioned many times. Though it could also just be Odium or another shard or splinters that aren't cryptics or w/e with them leaving everytime Kaladin is around, it could also just be they are leaving since Syl usually around Kaladin and remember that Honorspren and Cryptics aren't exactly friends(not enemies too).
  7. Yeah either he's becoming some sort of radiant who could access the shadesmar(elsecaller, lightweaver, truthseer(?)) or that's an influence of a shard regardless if it's Odium or Cultivation.
  8. I would still really consider that this Diagram even if it's of Cultivation it may still be influenced by Odium since when the first time Kaladin and Szeth met it was titled "The one who hates"(which most likely means Odium also with Syl commenting about "Him" watching or influencing that event) and remember that was under the orders of Taravingan which he followed from the Diagram. Though this would make sense the Diagram was of Cultivation and this is how she approaches fighting Odium.(the things that the diagram makes people do seems like sacrifice ALOT today for the greater good stuff) It may be possible that the Diagram didn't exist before and Cultivation was helping Honor in other means to fight Odium and she just gave way of Honor's way to fight Odium through the KR/Heralds/Desolation. Now that Honor is dead Cultivation could be taking initiative and now fighting Odium in her own way According to Hoid "they never did get along" so that's there relationship but i suspect they aren't enemies. Yeah i believe it makes sense too since Cultivation is like double negative version of Ruin(since She makes stuff better ) while Preservation was just like the middle ground between Ruin and Cultivation. I think if Cultivation had another name it would be progression.
  9. Interesting but there might be a problem with this since Sazed "should" identify the shardic influence if it was just the spare Ruin he split. And i don't think he would be that troubled of such little piece of splinter (and there's also that WoB about there are no splinters of Sazed in Scadrial by the time of alloy of law) that he has to focus so much considering he's a double shard and he should also understand how Ruin works since he's also half Ruin.
  10. I think if your personality already matches the given intent of the shard i feel like it should give the individual more freedom in using the shards power compared to somebody who doesn't match the shards intent but pikcs up the shard.
  11. I feel like Kaladin's only parallel with this Kalak guy is the name since they are kinda opposite with Kalak wanting to save his own skin(not suffer in between desolations again) and Kaladin wants to save others. I would say that Kaladin and Jezrein has more obvious similarities and parallels. Like Kaladin & the windrunners have the same qualities as Jezrein(leadership, protecting people and all that crap) after all(well before he became a person who " can't stop drooling" apparently according to his other flying buddy Nale, Herald of Justice or whatever negative quality he has now)
  12. Dockson also acts like a Nobleman even though he's just skaa. Marsh and Kelsier himself lived as a noble for awhile before getting ratted out by their own father. And breeze has the same motive of opposing Final Empire as much as possible.
  13. You could get this message to Mr. Sanderson on reddit i think with his reddit account. He actually replies on reddit
  14. It's possible but i suspect getting surges from collecting Honorblades might be easier than bonding with multiple spren with different order(and that's not even considering the difference and difficulty of maintaining oaths from different orders).
  15. I think i remember Kaladin breathing a "little" amount of stormlight from Szeth that he expelled(because he got hit or something iirc) at the first time they fought during Szeth's first attempt of assasination of Dalinar.
  16. Spren's don't "heal"(i don't think you could ever harm them apart from breaking oaths nor were they ever damaged before) more like they gain sentience ( and/or they start remembering if they formerly bonded with other radiants before and had memories of the past like Syl) from the Nahel bond they have with their KR partner. It's the people who needs to heal since they have physical manifestation aka bodies. Spren's are literally just floating bits of powers of shard(s) with sentience. Well that's my understanding of sprens.
  17. I just learned about this and holy rust. What must Taln's past be like wooo
  18. I also wonder why Nightblood could kill from the "3 realms" whatever he hits. It makes more sense when IF he came from Ruin(since it's an act of decay/destruction/death) but nightblood came from Endowment. It kinda doesn't match.
  19. Yeah prolly. Though Koloss might be scared shitless as well with Sazed changing the entire planet they may not be killing each other and actually work on trying to hide or something. I know i would if the planet randomly started moving, landscapes shifting and plant sprouting everywhere. Green plants at that not the standard brown they have (lol).
  20. I like the former explanation about the "run/hide" survival instincts but i don't think the blood frenzy would've stopped sazed from controlling them because of inexperience. I mean you literally instantly know how to do stuff when you become a shard after ascending(Via Vin, Rashek ) they just lack finesse. And he has double knowledge(through double ascension), i assume it should be pretty ez for him to control Koloss since they are so Ruin(should be connected to him wel enough) and from the finale even though he's having problems with intent now but he's doesn't have problems with the clashing powers of Ruin and Preservation at his ascension as "he could make them touch without destroying each other" something like that afaik.
  21. I wouldn't pick separate metal if i were to pick i'd always pick the twinborn abilities that could compound. As for what Zinc Compounder(i'm gonna some kind of successful businessman or poltician ezly) Electrum Compounder (unlimited determination actually sounds so sick IRL .. also it helps that i could see what possible moves i could do when i'm feeling blank as storm) Pewter Compouding (self-explanatory) Steel Compouding (literally a superhero)
  22. Ah that makes sense. Though i'm not sure if harmony would actually murder those Koloss outside the underground i mean Vin moved the planet in her ascension nobody actually died(apart from the tsunami's which she didn't think would happen). And there are probably people also outside of the underground while he moved around the world. I suspect he could turn the Kandra into a breeding race and just reverse the mistwrath process that Rashek did. He probably had other reasons. Harmony is probably only restricts Hemalurgy since the best practice of it is to kill somebody to attain a spike and people prolly didn't know that (i mean he knew about kandra getting allomancy through hemalurgy he never disclosed it) you could do it without killing people. Or it probably has more to do with the fact that it's gonna stimulate some greed for people since you basically obtain power through it.
  23. I really found this transformation of Koloss by Harmony weird. Since there's so many Koloss at the end of the original trilogy (prolly more than people) and there's little Kandra but he never turned the Kandra into a breeding race even though they are definitely not dangerous and they actually help people.(but it's probably just Sazed taking pity on them for wanting to be human but not being one ) I'm curious how did Harmony determine which ones are gonna be male and female from the pack. And even though this was mentioned the 2nd mistborn series actually never introduced Koloss society upfront.
  24. Yeah it's split into 2 5 book series. There's a big timejump between the first 5 books and 2nd 5 books. We already know all the surges we just haven't seen them. In fact i'm kinda excited about finally seeing a skybreaker since skybreakers have both surge of gravitation(the flying ability of windrunners) and surge of division(apparently a destructive surge) so they are kinda like violent versions of Windrunners. Possibly but it hasn't been confirmed. Yes as long as she stays in a reasonable size. Apparently you can turn a spren into an Arrow not sure about bows. Some of the radiant orders are speculated to be part Cultivation part Honor. Like edge dancers. I think Windrunners are probably one of the more honor type's of Orders.
  25. Granted but the revenue of those businesses will never end up with you. I wish i was really good with RL stuff(school work businesses).
