  1. Reverse compounding to enhance allomancy is interesting. It makes sense with Lord Rulers's soothing covering a literal city without using duralumin through that since no matter if he is the allomancer with the most allomantic strength and already savant about it. That was some insane range of soothing. I guess this secret died with the Lord Ruler but maybe Marsh eventually figured this one out. Or Ruin made Marsh do such thing so he learned about it
  2. Oh you're at the slowest part of WoT. The best parts are the last 3 books it's just insane. Story of every enthusiastic readers life.
  3. I think this is the one. Also reminds me of the lesson from Mistborn which kinda points out that you can't do everything yourself. Ironically Kaladin says this to Elhokar "focus on the living" when he was hesitant to leave Aesudan while holding his child. Nevermind this is the real cannon 4th ideal lol
  4. I didn't think i wanted or supported Jasnah/Kaladin ship until i saw this speculation. If this theory is right then it fits so much since this is the sort of thing that Sanderson does(we've seen this style on Mistborn franchise) through really subtle details dangling in front of you without even you noticing. Arrange marriage with the 2nd most important Radiant and Queen of Kholinar incoming boys
  5. Granted but that puppey is hemalurgically spiked with so many spikes like a dogquisitor. Uhm also Ruin is around so doggy is cray-cray and murdery I wish for extreme success with flirting/romance
  6. Szeth strikes me so much as the "I don't give a storm about all of you tbh." kind of guy and make things really awkward for well everybody actually. Urithru is now noble central which Szeth kinda murdered somebody from every faction(that is not Shin) probably but he does share the burden with Mr. T who told Dalinar everything(but that just softens it doesn't really remove the issue), then we have navani/jasnah/adolin and well the Kholin family that isn't Dalinar isn't on good terms with him. Lastly there's Kaladin and Bridge 4 which kinda is the enemy of Szeth in the first 2 books. Oh he has nightblood with a tower full of evil people(good thing that he's a living follower of Dalinar's will and he's gucchi right now) and he's still probably the best close quarter combat fighter if not Kaladin. So likely enemy Radiant's who pretend to be allies like Malata will likely have a rude awakening (and probably a dead dead shardblade(not the broken oaths kind of dead but the kind of dead Ruin would be happy with) if Szeth draws Nightblood) Yeah the next book is gonna be so much fun about the implications about him Oddly this feels like it's gonna be underplayed or not that eventful as we expected. Szeth probably wouldn't care about their interaction lol
  7. Ah well bummer. I'd like to think that there's some weird dudes really into shaving death or Marsh ordering Sazed to magically make his hair grow bald lol
  8. I mean you could have unlimited healing but if you don't heal fast enough or you simply just get decapitated like half your body or something healing doesn't matter if you die instantly. They could just hold you then slice you 4 ways including the hand holding the honorblade then your dead. It's even worse since Heralds don't have shardplate afaik. Interesting to think of is that Dalinar can charge people with stormlight which seems to be a Herald exclusive ability in past when honor was alive(well they charge themselves not others but still same point) maybe that's what his ability is about that isn't really available to Bondsmith afaik. He can charge stormlight because honor has zero vessel and now that i think about it the line is only possible cause Honor has zero vessel and splintered. Odium was even calling him the man who has is closest to honor and the man who holds his name(which is relevant to the releasing stuff). Maybe that's Dalinar's ability is something similar to heralds except that in the heralds case they are just given permission by honor to suck as much stormlight as they want I think Radiants now have some sort of advantage due to the plate.
  9. We know that being an Inquisitor doesn't automatically shave that person's head. I think any sane person who sees a big man with railroad spikes in place of their eyes is gonna freeze with terror or probably die of terror. Before Sazed's final ascension Inquisitors were kinda like the enemy of the state and unstoppable killers even after Sazed's ascension Marsh was a figure of death. Sooo. Who shaves his head ? Is he that good at shaving that despite having only ironlines as sight he still can shave his head to perfection? Kandra ? Uhm him intimidating people into shaving his head ? Does he like soothe/riot the person all the time who he decided to shave his head ?(wouldn't that create some weirder mythology about him) Does he have a really really weird personal barber like adolin every century ?(like does he post an ad "Hiring: Personal barbers willing to shave anywhere. High pay is given") Does he ask Harmony and go "yo, Sazed it's shaving time" (yes Sazed is the Hero of Ages, yes he is the god of Scandrians, yes he is the most powerful person in Cosmere atm but knowing Sazed is he really the type to decline if you ask him to pick a shirt, "can you please make tea tnx" or shave a beard. Ok Sazed might actually be the only Shard where you are the servant and you can order him around) ? Yes. This is currently the most intriguing mystery of Cosmere for me.
  10. Since there forces limiting Harmony's knowledge purposely(assuming this is a collaboration between some shards and other cosmere-wide organizations). Are there any shards (that we know or haven't revealed) that is supporting or might actually be fine of Harmony's existence(or just wants to support him) ?
  11. Alot of people got triggered by Harmony's actions that book but i was just smirking with satisfaction after reading the book. After seeing Preservation and Ruin operates with how they just do about anything that isn't against their intent to achieve their goals even if that means lying especially Ruin. No matter how benevolent Sazed is he is still basically a god with two shards where one of his intent is violent. He was bound to do something that is considered immoral and cruel by those who aren't a Shard like him but for him just necessary as the real ruler of Scadrial. The entire reveal with Lessie at the end of the book and the actions that Harmony did that lead to it. That was the moment i have been waiting for when the Hero of Ages finally acts as the manipulative, invasive and seemingly cruel god that we needed to see. The caretaker for all ages just doesn't mean rainbows and sunshine. It also means doing the hard things basically a god must do to ensure survival I've only gone through the written version. Actually i'm not much of a fan of audiobooks or graphicaudio tbh it doesn't match my pace(i know i can pause backtrack etc but it can be annoying). And sometimes i like to read and reread some lines over and over again savoring but thanks for the suggestion.
  12. This is my headcannon now. On a sidenote. We've seen Shallan and her personalities and afaik Autonomy also has multiple aspects/avatars in place. Bavadin must be much much worse than Shallan that would be really interesting to read about her perspective.
  13. Your biggest rival would be Roshar and it's people. (If Steeldancer was part of Cosmere) Inbefore Steeldancer picks up a shard with an intent capable of destruction and destroys Roshar to have zero rivals for Taln Jasnah as we know is abit utilitarianistic and straightforward. She may have good intentions but she doesn't seem to mind doing what's unhonorable or improper for the greater good. And her first suggestions of murdering the Heralds to stop the desolation was already a sign. I think she is likely gonna milk information from Taln or Ash as much as tell Dalinar about the two heralds she has on her hands. I'm worry about this but inbefore Mr. T somehow manages to get his hands on the heralds.
  14. Rand vs Kelsier is actually not feasible. Rand basically just points and clicks people to death (point his hand then kill them with balefire or something) unless ofc it's the post-era 1 Kelsier with the speed compounding then it's a little tougher to tell since Rand can just mass AOE but Kelsier still murders him outright just through speed
  15. I don't hate her but she is my least favorite out of the main characters in Camp Dalinar. I still hate Moash and Mr. T much much more than her.
  16. I'm offended i don't see any Taln and his bae Ash. Also ghostblood infodump plx
  17. I've been reading uhm alot of the bane/boon pages(yes i procrastinate alot). Zath indeed from time to time makes me laugh. Granted the nightwatcher doesn't hate you. Everybody else hates you instead, I wish i'd get better at time management.
  18. Btw guys i found another Taln fan
  19. I really really really REALLY hope so that Sanderson makes them play a pivotal role to keep them alive. And not just kill off Ash or something and turn Taln into another character living just to suffer like in (Mistborn Trilogy spoilers) . I wanna see Herald level of redemption(for Ash) and reward(for Taln). Also the hinted centuries spanning romance might be the sweetest romance we would see in cosmere well aside from (Mistborn Trilogy spoilers) I mean think about it Taln being a "duty first" kind of dude then Ash dissuading him and feeling all guilty because of her crime to him, i think they could be more interesting than Navani/Dalinar pair which is basically the same . I think they'll make an extremely interesting pair of character together and their road to becoming a Knight Radiant(assuming this path is going there) I just worry that it's not beyond Jasnah for murder or torture. OMG pls don't torture Taln he already went through enough
  20. That's interesting. Also pretty fun if Dalinar mentions something like that and Stormfather goes "actually ..."
  21. Rand(pre-Memories of Light , cause he the broken during that book though) probably is a better match since Mat kinda does not have powers.
  22. Are you secretely Ash ? or just one of Taln's many fans that Ash probably hates. Definitely i mean I wholeheartedly agree with this. I mean Dalinar who ? Kaladin who ? Odium Reigns
  23. I think Atium still has plenty advantage over Trellium simply because it's the same investure as the magic system. And only harmony knows the full application of Atium or even Lerasium. I think Lerasium hemalurgy has some funky effects. Or maybe it completely does nothing. Which only harmony knows as well
  24. With or without Allomancy ? In before Kelsier's steelpush/ironpulls goes awry cause taveran luck.
  25. Might be unpopular opinion but i actually want more indepth exposure of Taln and Ash. The last scenes of Taln being such an awesome guy makes me wanna learn more about him. Ishar is good too though he sounds wise and probably just as insane. Only Ash looks like the least insane of them all so far
