  1. The resident bondsmith requests everybody to stop cursing using Stormfather's name. Now that the stormfather is active he gets very confused everytime and has taken a complain to his bondsmith
  2. Does my disappointment with myself count ? It reminds me of my uhmm general failures in everything
  3. Yeah i think she at least respects/likes(none-romantic sense) Kaladin simply because his protective streak to his family, his general innocent kindness towards others and well Kaladin is the freaking Stormblessed he has the magnetism where he just looks like the herald of the old. He is basically the living windrunner ideals.
  4. "The burden of 9 become mine" epigraph remember ? I don't like this theory. Sanderson leave Taln alone plx
  5. Interesting it's possible that Vasher did that but there was some sort of method to absorb stormlight without becoming Radiant in Roshar after all. It could be either and how much would Endowment's investure(Vasher's returned breath is a splinter after all) interfere with Nightwatcher's boon/bane is a problem tho. Even Felt was ignored/denied by Nightwatcher cause he's basically made up of Preservation/Ruin
  6. Definitely Nalthais or Scadrial era 2-3. Nalthais is generally nice with accessible magic system and Endowment seems benevolent enough. Then Scadrial is close to our world with allomancy, also the resident Hero of Ages from that place is as nice as a god could ever get, Definitely not Roshar, that place is a hellstorm(literally and figuratively) out of all the places.
  7. And i hope you're wrong. Cause that's gonna hurt alot and i bet Sanderson is gonna make us love Taln so much(he is basically his favorite herald and favorite story so that's freaky) cause we already do with simply his one paragraph from OB lol We are gonna be a sobbing wreck if that happens and Elhokar's fall is gonna look like a walk in the park.
  8. I doubt Sanderson is going to rehash the same plotlines as Mistborn where the protagonist . Wasn't also the "I AM UNITY" his 3rd words since stormfather went "It is accepted" afterwards. But i do think he's a weird Sliver/Vessel situation with a broken shard since our clue first of all was the lines on their first meeting where Odium was saying in their first meetup about Dalinar telling him to "GTFO and leave us alone" where Odium said that was that it from the man who has the rights of honors name or something(none-verbatim). And also Dalinar's line going "His remnants, your spirit and my will" to Stormfather about how was he doing that. I take it that Dalinar represented Honor around OB and after his stunt with creating Honor's perpendicularity out of nowhere he is now officially the representative of Honor. Considering he has direct access to his investure now(charging people and that weird activation of Oathgate through spiritual realm) I think this might be special to Dalinar's case too considering that Honor geting splintered in Roshar isn't as big deal compared to the shards in Sel due to Roshar having enough "release valve" of power
  9. Probably just his personal assassin that is alot less morally restricted compared to Nale or one of his super-fighters. Inbefore Odium was preparing Taln 4.5k years in order for some random backup plan but since the Dalinar plan backfired Taln becomes his champion. It's even more tragic since we see his perspective as like a true hero but no matter how true his heart is 4.5k years of preparation by a God of Hate(or passion) still makes him his pawn. Then everybody especially @Steeldancer weeps in blood.
  10. Logical reason is that he's just gaining more power for whatever his plan is. Personally i do not like the "he's trying to reform Adolnasium" because it's extremely obvious and predictable(greater plan plot). It's literally a very common prediction people make
  11. I'd like Jasnah/Kaladin to happen if possible simple because of that "Hesina being secretly a sister to the queen" theory but if i'm being honest. As of the moment i doubt that Jasnah likes Kaladin romantically but Jasnah is possibly fond or she does admire Kaladin(not in a level of crush) considering that Jasnah is fond with people who are genuinely well-intentioned. Dalinar is a big example of this she doesn't just respect Dalinar because she's his uncle or they share similar views but because she thinks his uncle is genuinely well-intentioned. Even Renarin was the same(think she's more fond of renarin than her own brother Elhokar) So at the very least Jasnah respects Kaladin but i doubt that angle could go somewhere
  12. Ruin IS meant for destruction and death. Remember his monologue about being the "caretaker who closes the shop" that was fantastic. Odium on the other hand i've read soo many fantasy he just feels like a generic villain getting thwarted every time. Yes he's just another villain while Ruin was written fantastic. That's my whole point about my disappointment over him like it doesn't matter to me about what we know about him like the better shardic foresight than Ruin or that he was a dangerous shard. All of that doesn't matter if he wasn't shown/written as how dangerous and crafty he should be. He basically has the hype of Thanos on Cosmere but he's not showcasing he's Thanos he's showcasing he's basically loki/ultron(i'm just using this analogy btw cause avengers is popular and i assume you've seen it). Maybe i'm just expecting too much from Sanderson but i've been mostly satisfied with everything he wrote even when he finished WoT i kinda liked his books better than RJ. But idk i expected Odium to be at least as impressive as Ruin or even like Crippled from Malazan. I think i've been repeating my point so i'm just stopping
  13. As hard as Harmony would make actions i highly doubt he can't defend himself or make an action to kill somebody. Cause he also has plenty of times
  14. You mean tricked by preservation. "Constrained himself" sounds wrong as if he intended that to happen when he didn't and genuinely believed their agreement. And how would you know Odium didn't also "constrain himself" since whatever Tanavast did it pretty much caused the entire series and a hell of frustration for Odium. Even other shards seemed content of the Odium situation tnx to whatever Honor did. Honor intent doesn't sound that dangerous compared to Ruin, Ambition or Dominon but its seems like Odium targetted Roshar for the shard vessels rather. He could also be targetting Ruin/Preservation after Roshar assuming everything went according to plan but we don't know the rest of the unknown shards to be certain like he went for Ambition before the D&D(tho he failed to find Ambition) and H&C so that means he goes for shards according to threat level rather than the shards who broke the "no fraternizing with other shards agreement". I mean we have 7 more books so we can still expect Odium to deliver but so far ? Disappointing compared to Ruin in many factors. Obviously disappointment does not mean Odium isn't stronger(he obviously is) just writing wise and delivery of the villain's antagonism so far as written Ruin truly felt like the "END" that he was while Odium felt like a cartoon villain at times. Well that was after book 3. Book 1&2 Odium did feel like the hype delivered admittedly
  15. I don't think Harmony would need Nightblood's help. He is quite possibly the most capable of splintering anybody considering how much raw power he has assuming of course he knew how to do it and his intent doesn't block his way
  16. Not as constrained as Ruin ever was who had to work through really subtle actions. I mean he's literally influencing Roshar and he can field his own soldiers no problem. Then we also have everstorm now, he's basically in the position of Honor previously was but just better cause you know honor is dead and he only has cultivation as his real problem. I think Odium wouldn't put Ruin/Preservation high on his hitlist. They are pretty much preoccupied with each other after all and Ruin might be extremely dangerous he still stuck with another shard for a long time. That shard just wants to kill anyways it'll probably do him more good than bad if that shard goes for another(assuming preservation got killed)
  17. I actually feel the opposite. I think Odium needs to be more scary considering how much hype in Cosmere and epigraphs in general he got. He was literally called "the most dangerous of the 16" but so far he's shown as clever but not an unstoppable force that literally makes you just feel dread and hopelessness like Ruin did in Mistborn. He's supposed to be the Thanos of the Cosmere(well i have my money on Autonomy but the hype is on him as the big bad) but he doesn't feel like one. I think he needs more work or maybe we haven't read enough of him yet, maybe he'll get more freaky on the later books Actually Sanderson wrote Ruin a much much better malevolent god than Odium ever was.
  18. Granted now everything that we wear that isn't sneakers pains us for every second we put it on (curse you ! but probably nice to alot of people as well i mean everybody naked) I wish for Nightwatcher to marry Stormfather
  19. You've never really seen Rashek in a serious battle tho and he still has much much potent allomancy/feruchemy than Kelsier will ever get through metalminds and most importantly(afaik Rashek knew about alot of things that he brought to the grave). This is basically a guy who probably uncovered every allomantic/feruchemic secret, savantism on every metal and has a thousand years practice backing him up. If you think about it Rashek's steel pushing is so strong pierces through an allomancers body that alone beats Kelsier in the first moments of combat. Besides how is Kelsier "more clever" than Rashek when we barely know Rashek and the only things we know about him is the incredibly well-thought out setup of the final empire and basically outwitting Ruin himself and even making plans post-death. But Kelsier/Marsh/Rashek are close indeed Szeth won't get a lucky shot regardless if he has Nightblood against somebody who has unlimited metal speed, unlimited physical speed, pewter and Atium so he's kinda irrelevant. Against other cosmere characters tho he's gonna do well
  20. Granted but it spins around you and is unbreakable I wish dating was easier than it is
  21. This is definitely so much in the "read and find out" territory to how difficult it is to predict. We don't have enough information yet but for the current information. Nale and his skybreakers are extremely valuable in combat, information and deception purposes. I highly doubt that Odium would waste such powerful tools but maybe if Nale starts tilting and going back then Odium might off him. I think Nale is definitely following Odium and so will alot of the Skybreakers (since there will always be deviants in literally all kinds of group) but i bet those who will separate will either go to Team Honor(aka Dalinar) or possibly just serve some land in a way of denial. Or more interestingly this might cause the first of the deadeye shardblade for the current Roshar timeline as well as probably the first deadeye shardblade from the Skybreakers(cause apparently Skybreakers didn't follow their fellow Radiants)
  22. Excluding Hoid for obvious reason. Rashek definitely beats anybody in Cosmere(yes even Kelsier considering that Rashek still has the highest experience and highest allomantic/feruchemical potency) So a Fullborn that knows compounding and knows to use his/her abilities essentially beats anything cosmere since Rashek is the ultimate fullborn(savant in all allomantic abilities with highest allomantic strength of the entire series also basically thousand years practice of both feruchemy and allomancy which also makes him the best allomancer/feruchemist). It simply is impossble to beat somebody who has ulimited speed, strength, mental speed and healing. That's just the basic package excluding all the other things that makes a Fullborn extremely dangerous
  23. I only knew this from a WoB. You guys are good at figuring Secret characters out. The onyl one i figured out was the most obvious one from Oathbringer
  24. For some reason i don't want the answer "he figured out how to shave himself" since it makes common sense and i want a Cosmere weird answer. I think the "he perceives his baldness as part of himself" though healing maybe requires him being aware about how cosmere healing perception works and maybe needs to hurt himself but that's plausible Yes this is the sort of weird answers i'm looking for keep it going lol
