  1. The Shard offered to Hoid is a Shard yet unseen in the book. Anyway, from another WoB we know Hoid would be tempted by Endowment. This could say something both on Hoid's attitude and on his williness to be' Influenced by a Shard's mandate, if the case arose
  2. It's possible the Stone are some focus for Braize's magic and in this Odium's Investiture is affected by them
  3. I mostly agree with everything. Just the Shardfork will probably be' fine in Activate the Oathgate
  4. I am a bit surprised by the Arts, Ishar isn't dark skinned and I honestly believed all' the Heralds were dark skinned. (From Nalan, Taln and Ash)
  5. I don't believe the NW could lift (pun intended) the Old Magic's effect and much more I am quite sure It's not something She could do remotely.
  6. The Atium wasn't produced naturally, Preservation built the Pits ad release Valve of Ruin's Power in solid form (Atium). As far as we know, there was no similar mechanism for the Lerasium. Rewrite your Spiritweb turning your Connection to Preservation stronger is the Lerasium's Allomantic effect. If a Mistborn burned a Lerasium's bead. He Will simply become stronger ad Mistborn
  7. Nah I believe there is no such a correlation as "the Voidspren have to be uglier or weirdest"
  8. I always used http://wot.wikia.com/wiki/A_beginning
  9. I don't think the Language is a problem for a Cognitive Entity. To be complete honestly I don't believe the Spren express themself with a specific language.
  10. I believe this is mostly impossible. If Nightblood absorbs a Radiant's Kinetic Investiture (and this happens before the Innate is touched) and this Investiture is in someway usable by the holder (Szeth), it will just be fuel. If Nightblood absorbs a Radiant's Innate Investiture (witch mostly mean he would kill the guy or hurt the Spren) and this Invesitute is usable...Maybe something could happen, but watching Nightblood's work. I strongly disagree with the possibily of a sofisticated use of the stolen Investiture.
  11. Adonalsium is an anagram of "A Soul a Mind". Anyway the Hoid is/was Adonalsium is (like other said) an already very discussed topic. If Hoid was the old Vessel of Adonalsium's power...He have to be dead, much more Hoid had a complex relationship with the Vessels, he know them personally (for example He was a great friend with Rayse) something I really doubt was in the Adonalsium's possibility. Lastly as was already told, Hoid has a backstory and at least a novel as main charater on Yolen. Hoid used to be a Yolish standard guy.
  12. The DullForm Listeners hear the Rhytms but probably with their limited sapience they found difficolt to speak follow the Rhytms. By the way, if the DullForm isn't capable of hearing the Rhytms...they will probably stuck Forever in that form ad they Will be uncapable to attuning to the ringht Rhytm to complete a proper trasformation
  13. Microkinesis works at atomic level so I assume that like in the Nuclear Fission it's easier to affect heavier element rather than lighter
  14. The Lerasium (and the Atium) has not a single alloy pairing and instead (as you said) it could be alloyed with all the 16 metals (and this is true also for Atium) As before the 16 Lerasium's alloys turn the burner into Misting and we know this by WoB. No one in-world (except Harmony) knows it There are some wild speculations but we don't know. Again we don't know. Probably originally there were 16 Bead of Lerasium and of this 16 at least 10 are be used/taken away of the planet. We don't know what happened to the remaining beads. Anyway Harmony could produce Lerasium at will if he want so everything is possible.
  15. Honestly I don't know. Probably it has do to in how the rewrite is made. I believe the difference is mainly in the fact that Forgery puts a layer that cover the actual Soul and therefore the two have to cohesist, while the Shade affect the actual Soul.
  16. @Skyline I will try to explain the reason everyone are saying your theory is mostly impossible: - Issue n.0) The whole theory is based on the assumption of a Cross-Magical Knowledge and the detail of a complex Magic System like the Hemalurgy is. IF the Issue n.0 is solved we assumed Taln has the knowledge to craft a Hemalurgic Spike and the general understanding of Hemalurgy at all - Issue n.1) A so Invested object as an Honorblade is extremely hard to affect with magic and therefore turning into a Spike (by the way, the form isn't relevant in Hemalurgy, you may use a spoon in Hemalurgy if you want...it's just harder to pierce someone with it) IF the Issue n.0 and n.1 are solved and therefore is possible to have Hemalugy charge into an Honorblade. - Issue n.2) The hipotetical Honorblade's charge will be mostly depleted by Desolation into Desolation...So Taln kills someone every time for this quite useless trick. Much more I see some problem to pierce someone with an Honorblade (an object that Destroys the Soul) to gain an intact and functional Soul's piece (but this last thing is debatable). IF the Issue n.0 and n.1 and n.2 are solved and therefore we have an Honorblade with Hemalurgic Charge (from here called Honorblade-Spike) - Issue n.3) A Thunderclast has not bindpoints as far as we know. Blood is important for Hemalurgy and a Thunderclast is just animated rock. IF all the issues are solved and both the Honorblade-Spike and Thunderclast are avaliable. - Issue n.4) Why piercing a Thunderclast with the Spike will turn it under your control ? (by the way good luck in keeping something like a Shardblade strucks into something). The Hemalurgy's fault that allow to control Hemalurgy pierced being simply installs a Backdoor but doesn't give you any actual power to control the being. So Taln will have no way to control a Spiked being. There is also the problem with the number of Spikes...The weakest beings we know in the regard of Hemalurgy's fault require two Spikes. Controlling a Spren would took much more than that. Lastly Taln has the need to keep grabbing the Honorblade to keep his Surgebinding's power. Leave the Blade into a thunderclast is an awful idea but this is tangential to the fattibility of the theory. I hope to have clarified a bit the situation
  17. I know but I don't believe the definition Will change. I see the "Worldhopping" as destination before journey...It not matter how to arrive there. For example there is a magic that in theory could shoot istantly to another Planet, I assume It use the spiritual rather than the Cognitive but It still Worldhopping to me
  18. We don't know if that attack happened in the physical, it's possible the Unmade arrived and he did some stuff that result in the men's deaths. Or maybe he simply inhabitated some temp stuff (Thunderclast style) to do this Anyway I belive the Shardblade could be able to interact with him and with a bit of workaround a gemstone could be placed to interact with the Unmade....The Artifabrian know stuffs on trapping Spren, probably they are unable to capture the Unmade, but their knowledge could be still useful
  19. Just for sake of completeness: Szeth was made Truthless two years before Gavilar's Murder and by this WoB Mr. T visit the NW after the Gavilar's Murder
  20. This is warbreaker's subform, you need to place the stuff of other novel in a Spoiler tag (it has an "eye" icon in the edit pannel) Not exactly, I know what you are refferring to but "shardblade" is a wider term, Nightblood itself is a Shardblade. Anyway "your Shardblade" indeed cut the physical and the spiritual (not the cognitive). About the rest of your question, NB cuts all the realms so you may imagine that nothing is completely safe...but remember that Investiture interferes with other Investiture so an insanely Invested object like the Shardblades are is a troublesome target for NB
  21. I believe It's After Szeth became Truthless. There is a WoB in the regard of MrT's meeting with the Nightwatcher regard the Gavilar's Murder...But I am unsure, how this Will fit with retriving Honorblades?
  22. It's never explicity stated. Those information come directly by Brandon. Anyway for the ones who know about Realmatic is quite oblious that Nightblood cuts beyond the physical. We saw in other Cosmere's stories how something that cut on the physical and Spiritual works....and NB's wounds are something beyond a simply cut in the body and soul
  23. I agree with this analysis. - Probably Inspiration will be a better fitting name for Charisma, but honestly I don't like the concept too much either. - As The One Who Connects I don't see the Mistery as an actual attribute but rather a lame excuse for the theology to have gaps in the doctrine (but this isn't a religious topic so this is a bit OT) - Holiness too isn't real a divine attribute but rather a simply relationship to the divine. you call something "holy" because you associate that thing to the divine. But "holiness" hasn't any meaning for itself (maybe a good example will be what that today is called "sorcery" or "miracles"...They are the same stuff with different name from if the source was (presumibly) authorizated by your Supreme-figure-of-reference). I am quite sure to have exposed those stuff in a messy way, sorry
  24. I believe the Shin-like traits the Yellow Spren has is simply linked to her Stone-related appareance (so a mechac like the HonorSpren-WindSpren) and the amount of consideration the Shin place into the Stone. They simply have more weight into plasming "StoneSpren"
  25. This is tricky but unlikely, because some spren are closer to H or C depending on their amount of Investiture in them. I believe the Voidspren are not mixed with H&C but I believe we have not explicity proof of that
