    I am quite sure Jasnah believed the Jam could be poisoned (no for sure, but She considerated the possibility). In this context, Soulcasting a possible treat is a good Plan. Jasnah had tons of way of killing Jim if She wanted without raise suspicion on herself and put in dangerous people (Shallan). A Plan like the One you suggest, is simply too caotic and random to be' something Jasnah planned.

    The Death Rattles are glympse of the future. Maybe the viewer was unable to spot the difference or also if different he/She consider the Everstorm's front as a Stormwall improperly

    Shallan didn't experiment too much with Soulcasting as it's really dangerous. I am waiting for her to start asking training sections with the Ardent Soulcasters...they know a lot of more on the CR and how to performe safety Soulcasting. She could learn a lot...I hope their actual relationship with te KR will be not an obstacle

    I assume the time you spent as Ascendent being means almost nothing with the degree of Investiture a Shard carries with itself. Rashek becomes a Preservation's Sliver holding a fraction of Preservation's Power for seconds/minutes. Vin held the whole Shard and longer than Rashek. As I said before, I believe a Lifeless from a Sliver will be a regular Lifeless. You cited the Mind corrupting effect of a Shard, but this is meaningless for a couple of reasons: 1) the affected mind (corrupted or not) is no more relevant to the topic as it's no more connected to the body....A corpse is just physical the Mind and the Soul are gone. 2) The Mind will mostly recover from holding a Shard after the Shard is gone. Of course there will be a little amount of side effects, but mainly the Shard's influx is gone....but again this is meaningless as the Lifeless is made by the physical alone. For sake of the argument if we assume that having an high Invested corpse matter when this corpse is turned into a Lifeless (and by the way, it is possible). Different kinds of Investiture could work differently. For example Breath is explicity easy to imprint with a Cognitive Aspect (it's the fondament of Awakening) and therefore a Breath could more easily carry the former Cognitive into the freshmade Lifeless. Other kinds of Investiture are not so strictly tied to this mechanic. But it's hard to give a definitive answer EDIT: @Calderis I just tried to ask to the supreme authority, I doubt to recive an answer but who knows

    Wyndle wanted to bond Ym but the Ring instead sent him to bond Lift because She is very interesting to them. Another Spren(a Truthwatchers One) later bonds with Ym as he exibited compatibility with both Edgedancer and Truthwatcher orders

    And of course this is impossible as the Kholin Soldiers found the Blade and carries It (until was swapped). If the Blade was de-summoned and therefore never found, there will no need to replace a Blade

    Well here probably we have different views. The Death of someone with Breath made the Breath goes wild. I always assumed the Breath follow the Soul Upon Death and this transition is what made the Breath Crazy. Also I assume that if having a Breath or not change the Lifeless creation's outcome the Awakened Will know It. But the Awakening is at his beginning so this isn't real a proof. Indeed your scenario is possible, I have to considerate this.

    Well usually Healing fixs the Soul but it's mostly a Spiritual Scar and you could not keep repairing too much. Maybe Hoid's Healing heals the Spiritual perfectly

    Gold Ferring could go without oxigen perfectly fine as long as they are Feruchemical charge, so drown one of them isn't an option. Sure drown a Ferring could be a way to force him to consume Charge over time, but it will not work better than every other kind of damage and with someone with an huge amount of Charge (a Compounder for example) will not be really worthy of the effort in most cases

    Hi Seriel The scenario is a bit troublesome. Honestly I don't think the Clod's cases happens regularry when someone with a lot of Breath dies as the Breath will leave the corpse upon death. I belive that what happened with Astreel was caused by reciving Breath just before die. That Breath probably weren't completelly join with the Soul and therefore a part remained in the corpse. Probably it's those Breath who mimic poorly the former owner's mind Anyway returning to your actual question, if a Sliver's corpse is used as Lifeless's material, I think you will have mostly a regular Lifeless. The Soul and Mind is already gone...So it can't be fully sentient as it's the Soul the one deeply affected from holding a Shard. EDIT: I just realized you are new here, so maybe you don't know some terms. Sliver= Someone who helds an huge amount of Shard's power as the raw amount of Investiture, infused the Soul at the point to twist and change it also once the power is no more his. The former Vessel are by default Sliver and a Sliver upon death could always remains as Cognitive Shadow. Vessel= the canon term for Shardholder Cognitive Shadow= Upon death a Soul is pulled by the Beyond, it could remain for some time (usually seconds or minutes) before reach it. A Cognitive Shadow is someone that had his Soul replaced by pure Investiture. This allows him to remain for an unlimited time in the Realms after his death. This apply to him some other kind of restriction but it's not relevant here.

    Cosmere's healing in general coud Heal the Soul (Feruchemical Gold, Stormlight Healing, Regrowth Surge, Divine Breath are example of this), probably Hoid's Healing is simply better in doing it

    I believe we have a WoB the Horneaters and Herdazians are hybrid born from before the Shards' arrive. Maybe pre-shattering at all

    There are a couple of Surges that are more related than the rest to Honor and Cultivation. They are Adhesion and Progression, of course there are two Orders that can access to every one of those. in the Adhesion's case the Bondsmith and the Windrunner could use the Surge most associable to Honor and much more the Bondsmith have their Order's theme completelly aligned with Honor's mandate. In Progression's case the Edgedancer and the Truthwatcher could use the Surge most associable to Cultivation but here we don't know yet the Trutuwatcher's theme, we could only speculate that their theme alignes with Cultivation's Mandate (by the way, we mostly know the Edgedancer's one and it's not too related with Cultivation). So probably the Double Eye expose this kind of duality between the Orders most near to the Shards.

    Probably and the 10 Polestones are the 10 Gassous giant in the external part of the system. Another possibility is the three gems to be' Roshar, Breize and Ashlyn

    Yes, I simply didn't considerate the Shardblade as a magic system but yeah the Roshar's Shardblades affect the Soul and the physical. The Cognitive is where the Mind is and it's a reflection of how the stuff views the world and itself and how the other view it. The Soul is instead a bunch of Connections to other stuff. Both this stuff are not strictly related to "be alive" of their own, simply Investiture is linked to sentience. So to be "alive" you have to have at least an X amount of Investiture, to be "sentient" an Y amount (with Y>X) and to be "sapient" an Z (with Z>Y) but those are just requirements and it doesn't mean that an Z amount---> The stuff is Sapient, just that could potentially be sapient.

    Connection and Identity are Spiritual Attributes. But Identity is not what the people usually think as the usual meaning of the word (the Sum of your Memories and personality), instead the Cosmere's Identity is Just a Mark/tag that allow the Investiture to work with other Investiture without interference.
