In theory every major Shardworld is filled with a lot of Investiture. The Shards' Investiture is his own Investiture and also some minor Shardworld have a good amount of It. Sure there is a problem in lefting Yolen as the space around has not a lot of Investiture

Theory: There are 10 types of "proper" Fabrials
Yata replied to cometaryorbit's topic in Stormlight Archive
They have 7 Honorblades, It's already fit with both "Shards" and "Powers" -
Because that happens only when a Highstorm collides with the Everstorm. Those are not the standard results of an Hightstorm or Everstorm, but the compounding effect the two storms together generate in the location of their meeting
-
I see this as a plausible explaination to some Radiants' sensibility to The Midnight Mother
-
Probably she is unable to understand the "windspren" is an "honorspren" as she doesn't know how the rest of the radiantspren look
-
From the Surges' prospective alone the Orders closer to Honor are Windrunner and Bondsmith as they have Adhesion, the surge most near to Honor by WoB (while the Surge closer to Cultivation is of course Progression, so Edgedancer and Truthwatcher)
-
The Stormfather was already a Bondsmith's Spren before to become Honor's Shadow (and by the way I don't like to call him Honor's Shadow because he is more than that)
-
Lifesense detect Innate Investiture (mostly the Investiture in your soul) while Stormlight is Kinetic Investiture, so Life Sense could not sense that, but a Lifesense user could detect Spren and probably the Radiant the spren is bond with
-
Probably as Bort said the three Bondsmith's spren are of the same "species" and in the mural they are showed in a specific cultural form

Actually I was not drawning by that also if the Connection to Preservation was provided by the Ire's orb and therefore not an issue for Kel. By the way, Ruin itself says that the "Shadows of a man can't be strong as a true living man" but this is just a digression. The Radiant Spren seeks an anchor to the physical from Humans, I believe (but this could be false) a Herald as CS isn't as good as anchor than a living human, mostly in the same way a Listerner would be not as good as an Human for the Nahel Bond. The Madness could be a problem, but I assume it will depend by the specific circumstance, some Heralds' madness could in theory carry them more in line with some Orders. It's too soon to say something about
-
This is a theory not a fact. Syl could be a Spren forged/influenced in the same way of a windspren without be an enpowered windspren
-
Well more than a corrupted spren it seems to be a being developed on the same line of a Creationspren but deeply different from the starting point (it is a splinter of Odium after all)
-
Yeah possible indeed, also if a Cognitive Shadow would probably be a worse anchor than an human for the Spren so probably a Radiant Herald is less powerful than an equivalent Radiant...still is possible, so I am curious to see how this possibility could go

The number of Desolations was exaggerated (there weren't 99 Desolation) but we don't know how much of them happened. About the timeline, we know only that something like 10000 years passed from the Shattering but we don't know how much time after the Shattering the Honor and Odium's war started. This means the Desolation until the Last Desolation could have a timeframe of 5-6k to happen. It's unlikely the Desolation started as soon as the Shattering happened (Odium had to search for Ambition, not find Ambition and going to search D&D, Kill both and find Ambition, fight and kill Ambition and then arrive on Great Roshar System) but it's still a really vague timeframe because Odium could spent 1-10-100-1000 in doing all the stuff he realized....we can't know how much time to remove from the count

Yeah this is sure, I just wanted to point on the fact that the absence of a Stormwall doesn't imply less energy.

[OB] Warbreaker Whispering Answered in Oathbringer?
Yata replied to Storyspren's topic in Stormlight Archive
We can't have that explaination in OB as the Awakening is something beyond the SA's scope. The Memory Erasing is know here on the Shard mainly as "self awakening" in short, you use your Breath to affect your own Cognitive. This is what the Awakening does all the time. You imprint an amount of Breath with a cognitive copy of yourself that try to follow the Command. The "self Awakening" is mostly unknown on Nalthis but we know already that living people could be target of Awakening's Command (the "my life is your..." is an example of this) so it's not hard to believe (and the kidnapped girl's scene proves it) there are other Commands that work on living beings. Lastly, remember that Vasher didn't erased the girl's memory. The girl under Vasher's explaination erased her own memory -
I am a Rambleman, this means I don't know what I am XD

Cosmere uses of Allomantic Copper & Bronze
Yata replied to Brightlord M. Alhstrom's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I didn't misread this time Perfect Lifesense and Aura Recognition work under the same mechanic, for your question, you could trick the Life Sense with Nicrosil Feruchemy (by WoB) storing your Innate Investiture. Storing Identity will not work (but a Trueself on Nalthis could do insane stuffs with the local Magic, really insane) instead Storing Connection in theory could actually work as you said -
Gold Mistings and Soulforgery
Yata replied to The Allomantic Metalhead's topic in Cosmere Discussion
The point is Identity is not what you think. It's not something related to your personality or experience or memories. It's "only" a Spiritual markup that allows Investiture to work with other Investiture without interference. It's what allow a Feruchemist but not another one to access his Metalmind or a guy to retrive his Breath from an object but deny other from doing it -
The presence of not of a Stormwall isn't a proof of Its strenght. The Everstorm is simply composed/distribuite differently. A Highstorm keeps his Stormwall for all' his journey and we know the Storm loses Power while he Travel. Unless you are proposing that the Everstorm is weaker than the Highstorm in his weakest moment...the Stormwall can't be' a proof of Strenght.

Gold Mistings and Soulforgery
Yata replied to The Allomantic Metalhead's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I don't think this is true. Be Identity-less doesn't remove your history, the Soul will still fight back the manipulation. You will only gain a margin to the amount of Dor working to the Forgery. As the Identity-less state would mean the Investiture Interference doesn't apply -
My bad, I believed you asked in the Half Shards regard. About the WoB, you have right in Peter's point but It's not a Canon answer as Brandon explicity stated It's still (or at least It was) an open debate in the team
-
1) the Half Shards are explicity stated as Augmenter Fabrial Shield in-world 2) Brandon said he didn't decide yet how Allumin will be affected by a Shardblade, this means He still didn't use it in an interaction with the Blade. If the Half Shards were Alluminium made....he can't have the doubt about Alluminium interactions with Blade. At the Wob's time, they didn't decided yet, Peter simply provided his view and Brandon didn't agree with him...Sure now maybe they decided the definitive answer, but the Half-Shards was showed in-book long before so they can't be related to that
