IF the Radiants become CS, they will do It of their own without be' still bonded with the Spren. But I assume that It's something the Spren would say/know and why they move to Braize?

Stormlight Healing and Suspension of Disbelief
Yata replied to Stormrunner1730's topic in Stormlight Archive
Like Calderis said a Radiant with enough Stormlight could heal Almost everything that not istant kill him. By the way, I believe you are overstating Kal's wound in the Arena. Yeah he broke his legs and for a physical recover It's a long term recover. But the actual damaged area is relative small and the Stormlight needs only to fix that. -

I don't think the Everstorm heals the Heralds (but It's possible). Anyway It's not meaningful, an healed Nale will not be the Twok/WoR's Nale but rather Nale before his madness, much more...Nale knows the Desolation came, healed or not he will not keeping killing Surgebinder without a reason

[OB] Amaram's Greedy Little Fingers
Yata replied to Crucible of Shards's topic in Stormlight Archive
Not really, the guy could simply remove the gemstone breaking the Bond and the King can't re-summon it -
How does a Chasmfiend survive a Highstorm?
Yata replied to Steeldancer's topic in Stormlight Archive
Probably an Highstorm is worst on Shadesmar rather than in the PR XD -
I am sorry for the OP but I need to heavly use Spoiler tag to reply to @Alderant as we are talking of all the Era2's released books
-
@aldenen Indeed as @Kingsdaughter613 said the Spoiler in the Spoiler is false as the general rule of Hemalurgy still apply to the metal you refered to.

Nohadon isn't a possible candidate as the book is written by someone with a modern Vorin culture knowledge. The division between Genders Roles came only after the Recreance. So Nohadon could not know only the women are allowed to read, while the Oathbringer's author know this

From my perception Amaram is worst than Mr. T but of course someone else could think it different. Mr.T is working to avoid an horrible situation and in doing this he is performing bad things. Amaraman is doing bad things too but without to be forced by the events, he (and the Sons of Honor) started the horrible scenario. It was not something forced upon them but something they activelly triggered.

This. Try to figure morality without understand the Mister X's reasons, mindset and context is simply futile.

This statement is mainly false, the only two magic systems that are deeply Spiritual in Nature (Forgery and Hemalurgy) has nothing to do with bring stuff to life. Awakening affects stuff mainly in the Cognitive realms, imprinting the object with a poor Awakener's Cognitive Replica. So probably if there is a link between the Realms and the magic's purpose...The cognitive has more to do with bringing stuff to life (but still this is a poor explaination as other Cognitive effects has nothing to do with life

[OB] Amaram's Greedy Little Fingers
Yata replied to Crucible of Shards's topic in Stormlight Archive
I don't see a dual Shardblades weilder as a good idea for everyone to performe. The 10 styles are studiare for a One weapon and you will Need to start again to develop a new decent stance. Much more you are deny of a free hand to performe many trick or enforce your grip. I see this mainly as a Shardbearer VS Shardbearer fight as in other kind of fight One or two Blades don't change much -
In the current times She could not use the Surges, but for the ancient times it is possible, also if I see mainly as useless for the Illumination Surge's work
-
Honestly i am not so sure, if the Surge works crafting an artificial void the amount of Investiture is meaningless as the Surge will simply affect the space/air in the between

Theory: Devotion and Dominion are actually a "Spintered Shard"
Yata replied to Yata's topic in Cosmere Discussion
@Jondesu I think @Krypton Savant refered to this (from AU's Selish essay) -
I don't understand this theory. The OP made It to explain the Curse's release (or the Boon's release) but the theory itself skip that part into explaining how is possible that Evi's boon stops to work. Am i missing something?

Probably Vasher managed the Yesteel-problem before SA.

what happened to the emperor's soul?
Yata replied to king of nowhere's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
If the Emperor was repaired after the Realmatic Death, the body was just a living object and no more the the Emperor. a new Cognitive and Soul will be born in him. From what it was described in the book, the Emperor was actually killed and the resealers simply fixed his body, but his mind and soul were already released from their physical ties. -
Potential for Hemalurgy on Roshar
Yata replied to kalamitous_emoashions's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Hi, Inquisitors could have much more Spikes (Marsh for example exceded the twenties) but too many Spikes began to mess with the Mind. In the Ars Arcanum is stated that the Voidbinding has 10 levels but this tell us nothing on the actual working of that magic. Returning to Hemalurgy, that magic is possible everywhere in the Cosmere with the right knowledge. I really doubt we will see It relevant in the SA's plot as every series have to be' indipendant from the others...but It's possible there is some Hemalurgy user in Roshar, probably part of the worldhopper's comunity. In theory nothing prevent someone to gather all' the Surges with Hemalurgy (well there is the Oaths problem, but we are talking of a theoric scenario). Odium is already able to craft a connection to someone like Ruin did. His Voidspren carry a backdoor to him in the same way the Hemalurgy carries a backdoor for everyone. Notice that if (for theory) someone was Spiked enough to be' controlled by Shards, this guy will be expose to Odium and Cultivation too. -
[OB] Amaram's Greedy Little Fingers
Yata replied to Crucible of Shards's topic in Stormlight Archive
I believe the Blade was carried away. I can't believe a Shardblade was left there without any single Spren notice it. Sure Urithuru is a weird place but I assume a materialzated Blade would be like a giant signal for Cognitive Beings -
What I said, it's there is no "I store the power into a metalmind", the power produce an effect, if this effect change the user and allow (in some cases) to performe Feruchemy better than usual. If I burn pewter and my strenght improves, I could store more strenght than usual into a pewtermind because I have more strenght avaliable and I risk less to die for over storing. Your error here is to assume that a statement (in this case the one about the relationship between Allomancy and Feruchemy) could be freely reversed. This is false in logic A->B is not the same thing as B->A and can't be taken as true for itself. What could be stored in a metal is defined by the Metal's structure, it's not a matter of power or weird exceptions. A specific metal could hold only specific kind of charge. I could understand your logic, but the premise is different, while the Feruchemy inherit change the metal you are using (and the same thing happens with Hemalurgy by the way) and this could carry a change in the metal's function (allowing the Compounding for example), the Allomancy didn't change the metal's structure. You could try to find another topics on the same theory (you are not the first to propose it), I am quite sure there is one of them with a name similar to "Steelpush in a Steelmind". I believe the talk there was more complete than something I could wrote down now with the little time I had now EDIT: I found this, it's not the post I rememeber but still better than nothing.
