But this would be deeply different because the Divine Breath would have a CS attached while in the "Divine Awakening" we don't know if the DB has still its CS attached
-
Mainly yes, indeed this kind of stuffs happens also in the context of a single Shardworld, a city will be mostly 1:1 in the CR while (for example) a desert will be quite compressed for the lack of minds. Sure this compression is much much less than what you could expect to found in open space, but it's still there. You could disagree with me, but Identity is a Spiritual Stuff while you are talking of something Cognitive, it's what allow to your Soul's Investiture to work well with itself without interferences. Here we are in the SA's subforum so I will avoid to talk about other stories' material but you could find Identity explicity at work in Mistborn and Warbreaker. I could understand you use the word identity without the actual Realmatic Meaning, but I wrote my previous post just to avoid confusion

No I means directly the Stormlight. We don't know exactly how, but It seems everyone assimilate tiny bit of Stormlight during their Life. By the way, also the plants absorb Stormlight so the people usually eat food Influenced by Investiture rather than assimilate themself

For the living stuffs yes, but the not living stuffs recive their Cognitive Aspects mainly by the other watching and thinking about it. By the way to avoid confusion "Identity" in the Cosmere denotes a complete other concept, so if we want to continue to debate to this topic, the Stick's"I am a Stick" is dictate by its Cognitive Aspect, not its Identity. Returning to the Objects' Cognitive, we have multiple WoB on the fact that an object without any kind of interaction with sentient minds will not develop a Cognitive Aspect. Some examples by WoB (that at the moment I could not search, by I think you could find them quite easly) are: A chair nobody ever saw, will not think to itself as a chair, the gas giants in Great Roshar has a little Cognitive Aspect because the people don't think too much on them, the space and planets without sentient mind will not develop a Cognitive reflection.

Actually it's a triple posting, simply you can't see properly in the Spiritual Realm Anyway, I will try to delete the Cognitive Post to avoid confusion

It's possible but I doubt both of them 1) The former corpse's soul and mind are gone so unless some weirdness happened, there is no way for the lifeless to retrive his former self 2) This is a bit likely to me, if the Returned's CS is still attached to the DB is possible He will simply bond to the Corpse, but honestly I believe the CS will not be still attached to the DB and therefore only the DB will goes in the corpse. My shot (but it isn't something canon) is the Divine Breath's Lifeless will act as a more sapient Lifeless (like Clod) and over time it will develop a personality of his own.

I agree it's possible, simply we don't know how the Oathgates work, maybe they have a whole infrastructure in the CR or maybe they use Trasportation+something else to teleport stuffs from locations
-
But in both this istances the Radiants didn't need to make the Stormlight go through the Plate. The Windrunners lashed themself to fly and the Fabrial was outside the Plate.

As nobody saw it as dust, the books' cognitive will stil themself as books and probably they could be regrowth's target to be restored....Maybe some books will be beyond recovery but I think most of them will return to their former glory (by the way, between those books, could be the in-world Oathbringer)
-
Regrowth as every other form of Cosmere's Healing works alligning the subject's three aspect it's not really time related or biology related

Yeah the WoB states the cold is a result of the energy trasfer...Like an Endothermic process in our real world
-
Yeddaw is a weird city, they could be on top of a building and still be under "underground"...of course this isn't sure as we don't know how tall the building was but it's a possibility
-
Mainly the Roshar's lifespan would be improved by the healtier envirorment thanks to the Stormlight. I am not sure the lower gravity will affect them too much as they are already designed to live with that gravity

Maybe this is a dumb question, but where are all the Shardblades?
Yata replied to eveorjoy's topic in Stormlight Archive
Actually we don't know where he took the Shards from, we know only he tried to find the Skybreaker, but we don't know if he actually found them and they are the Shards' source. I don't think the Vorin Church hid them, or at least if the Church did it...the modern Church doesn't know it. The Sons of Honor have not a bunket filled with Shards as the effort Amaram putted to acquire a single Blade, to the point to kill his faithful men to obtain those Shards.- 49 replies

For the actual knowldge about Trasportation Surge, it will not allow you to move in the space but only between the Realms. By the way, nothing prevent Jasnah from finding some Stormlight in the CR and then use it to return in the PR

Listeners' blood in the Roshar's hybrids (horneater and Hedrizian) are so strong to change this Humans' physiology (Hedrizian's nail and Horneater's teeth) while the Veden and Shallan in the specific doesn't exibit nothing out of ordinary for an human. This placed together with the fact we already know her dad and mum are really her parents, point out any kind of weirdness in the Davar's lineage. Shallan probably had a bad childtime from before all the horrible stuffs we know happened to her. Just because the Kal's brokeness was caused by an extreme sequence of events, not all the Radiants had to experience something so drastic to broke. Renarin broke mmostly for his "weirdness" into the Alethi's culture for example.

From another WoB on the possibility to re-use an Aon multiple times, I assume you will need an elantrian to activate the plates and probably he will need also to re-make the Aon (following the Plate's pattern)
-
Well Arsteel and Yesteel are brothers therefore your answer was still in the family ;-) Seriously, in the book is never explicity stated so it's possible to miss or be misguided in Clod's Identity

[OB] There's something royal 'bout them locks...
Yata replied to CosmereQuestioner's topic in Stormlight Archive
I believe it's Cognitive in nature and they will turn on/off the Royal Locks depending of their position in the direct line because they were teached in that way. Honestly I can't imagine how a situation like that started, but once you have the system in place is quite simple to mantain -
The Rhyshadium are sapient probably they will not reach the Human's sapience but they are sapient enough to understand people and meaningful interacts with other sapient beings (humans). I will say (to give an extimation) that a Rhyshadium is as aware as a child.

Theory: There are 10 types of "proper" Fabrials
Yata replied to cometaryorbit's topic in Stormlight Archive
They are trained to use the Blade as the Shin's culture allows this (by WoB). And usually a truthless doesn't get a Blade, Szeth is a special case (by WoB). Probably Szeth was already trained to use the Honorblade when he became a Truthless and I find weird he was the only one. It's possible Szeth (and others were trained to use all the Blades' power) after all Szeth was enough expert of another HonorBlade's powers to believe Kaladin was able to heal thanks to Progression's Surge -
Cosmere uses of Allomantic Copper & Bronze
Yata replied to Brightlord M. Alhstrom's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I checked from the sources I have avaliable and I believe I have to step back from some sentences. The Life Sense is definitivelly a Spiritual Sense to me so there my statements hold. The Aura Recognition seems to be a mainly physical stuff, your mind intuitivelly mesures the difference the Biochorma causes...So I believe you could not trick it with neither Copper Allomancy or Durallumin Feruchemy, but still the Nicrosil Feruchemy would work because it suppress the Breath's expression at all. Unluckly I could not find any WoB on the topic so I had to use only in-world knowledge and my Realmatic Knowledge and of course I could be wrong -
[OB] There's something royal 'bout them locks...
Yata replied to CosmereQuestioner's topic in Stormlight Archive
There is a WoB explicit says (I will try to find later but I hope for now you will trust my Lightweaver's Memory) that Denth has the Royal Locks indipendently by being a Returned EDIT: Ok it was really too easy XD -
Theory: Devotion and Dominion are actually a "Spintered Shard"
Yata replied to Yata's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Yeah I rememeber that theory, it was baseless but there wasn't nothing in the books or wob that actually disprove it
