  1. Galladon in the interlude used a bad word of his own language who did not traslate into the Roshar's language (a word used a lot in Elantris by him) Many time, an oddity in language is a good guest of a worldhopper who didn't took effort to learn even a bit of the local language. Anyway, in my first reading I spot immediatly Galladon as Galladon, but I completelly miss Demux and of course at that time I didn't know their third companion.
  2. I asked him at a signing. He told It's not Canon yet but It's the main term he is using. He could change It but for now It's the best candidate ;-)
  3. No, it's not confirmed witch Orders adandoned and witch did not. Probably you asked this for my first reply. I meant that the theory is wrong because, the theory proposed the Skybreakers as the order that remained and the Receance and Last Legion's free as a single event. As the Parshmen's creation have to happen after the Last Legion's flee and the Parshmen's creation is mostly imputable to something a Bondsmith did. It's impossible for a Bondsmith to have made it if the Bondsmith already broke their Oaths (as the Skybreaker is the remaining Order...always for the theory)

    Timeline Question

The Unmade and Voidspren are Splinters of Odium
  5. The Dustbringers have simply the right power to make those kind of distruction, it's not for their attitude...it's simply their powerset that allow them to be the Radiant's heavy weaponery. Of course your hypotesis on the Duskbringer could be right but not because the Duskbringers were violent
  6. Actually a Seer would be probably defeated quite easly by multiple type of Misting: - Soothers and Rioters flaring their metal aganist him could slowing down and maybe disturb him enough to make the Atium useless. - Also a Pewterarms could give a real challenge to a Seer (much more because with Feruchemical Pewter too it can be really stronger than a usual Pewter Misting) - Iron and Steel Allomancy are enough to kill an Atium Misting, if the attack is overhelming he can't do nothing. - Tin...no seriusly, Tin has no advantage aganist a Seer XD Remember also the Atium burn very fast, someone need only to make the fight last a while to win aganist a Seer. Also for the Feruchemical side, there are metals that are OP alone (steel for example) and could probably defeat a Seer

    Timeline Question

Many believe it's the case. But nothing usually prevent a Shard from de-invest himself and leave.

    Timeline Question

Well, Odium could unleash Desolations, Splinter himself and send agents, kill Honor, pimpante an insane amount of Investiture in Roshar (Everstorm). Ruin can't do Almost anything. Just be' around and whisper to people. We could say (in a not proper way) that Ruin and Odium were in two opposite situations. - Ruin could move around but he is stopped from performing mainly every action. - Odium can't leave Great Roshar System but he could mainly do whatever he wants PS: from your quote, I saw I made some errors in my previous post (damnation autocorrector) I Will fix them
  9. Sure but this work only for a diminishing of mass (rock to air) or with the same kind of substance (air to rock) where it legit to think other air could be used. But image for a second the standard Lighteyes' death rite. You take a corpse (flesh) and Soulcast it into a statue (Rock), there is a relevant mass increase but I can't believe the Soulcasting will take randomical matter to make balancing the mass. Because it would mean change that matter to and therefore a chain reaction when you soulcast multiple stuffs. As the Investiture could become matter (and also the opposite) I see the mass discrepance as not a real issue for soulcasting (we have also some Cosmere's istance on Investiture turning into matter with mortal magic...for example the Healing does this all the time)
  10. Like other said, Atium Compounding is mainly useless in battle (witch I believe is the topic's context). We don't know enough how Cosmere's Fortune works so I can't honestly consider it. The best metal to me for a Twinborn Compounder (like @Calderis said) is Steel, sure probably an Human Compounder can't push that at the point Bleeder did. But will still gave you extremely reaction time and the ability to have a great manovrability and an extra sense to keep the information in the battleground updated. Sure Steel is not invincible but none of the metals are
  11. They could be related (one theory about the Recreance is the KR made it when they discover what their older members did to the Listeners turning them into parshmen). Anyway remember also the Diagram's words "Hold the secret that broke the Knights Radiant. You may need it to destroy the new orders when they return." this means the Recreance's cause is something fairly replicable

    Timeline Question

We don't know Who was the First to trap a rival Shard. I believe (but don't take my Word as fact, Just as a consideration) that Preservation trapped Ruin First. Odium came to Roshar After: - Searching Ambition without find him/her. - Going to Sel and killing Devotion and Dominion - finally find Ambition, Battle with him/her and kill the rival. - go for Honor and Cultivation. Only After all this events, Odium could be trapped on Braize. If Preservation and Ruin didn't go around and doing stuffs before crafting Scadrial. The Ruin's prison is older. By the way Ruin and Odium's prisons are really different. Honor didn't sacrifice himself to trap Odium and Odium isn't nearly as powerless as Ruin. Ruin's prison was actually an auto-counter to every Ruin's action more than a prison. While Odium's One seems to be' a simple "you can't go away" Edit: fixed some typos
  13. @Cowmanthethird Yeah I always considerated the "recovering mass" but actually thinking about I believe I was wrong. Probably, the air's cognitive (very ephimeral I believe) is not "point to point" but rather a single bead rappresenting a small area of physical air. When you Soulcast that air/bead...the whole air-zone (without a Better term) is turned into the building you want. Not 100% sure but probably Better than the mass conservation as It has no sense with the other Soulcasting's istances we saw. Still worthy thinking about
  14. The OP 's theory is the skybreaker order was the One to remain, not the Bondsmith so It's still wrong. By the way, also if an history's manipulation is possible. Nobody on Roshar remember the original parshmen's nature. This point to a very old event, much more than the Recreance. The text about Melishi in WoR Talk about a fight with the Voidbringer and the Voidbringers are Active only in the Desolations or close to them...this would set the Parshmen's birth around the twotk's prologue
  15. I considerated this but seems that also After centuries, First of the Sun is still extremely Dangerous. If a that would be enough to protects from hostile lifeforms...the Islands Will be already conquered. And as you said, I am unsure the timeline allows that (but probably Yes)
  16. This would be mostly impossible as It Will place the parshmen's Creation +an event that took Place After the Last legion flees) After the Recreance. And the Parshmen are implied to be' caused by a Bondsmith.
  17. But this is not how It works. The air is siphoned by the sorround too (Adolin noticed this) when the Ardent soulcasts the building.
  18. Soulcasting could change shape. We saw them with the air turned in building. Usually the item is carved in wood and them soulcasted because It's easier and you don't Need a Ardent Soulcaster with multiple skills. Anyway the FMA-style would be probably proibitive without a large reserve of infused gemstones avaliable
  19. Well Dalinar is One or the powerful Humans of the Planet. We have a WoB about Vienna searching Vasher that alone will disprove the Evi as Vivenna as Zahel is at Dalinar's service from many years. Lastly there are (already pointed in the topic) plot reason for Evi and Vivienna as different people.
  20. Honestly, as Soon as Jasnah appear and After the first shock. Everyone will link the dots and understand that the Stormlight's Healing Shallan keeps using as "i am mostly invincible" is fairly enough to let Jasnah survive. There is no need of something so melodrammatic as unleash the Blades, probably Jasnah has already proved her Identity or at least his Radianthood (as far as we know She maybe didn't use the Oathgates at all and instead She elsecalled here directly). I believe Jasnah's return could break a bit Shallan's relationship with Navani. Because in the end Navani was (ridicullusy) right, Shallan made the Ship where Jasnah was lying horrible wound reach the sea's depths.... It's not a Logic accusation, but something She could actual consider at least at intimate level. Anyway, we have now two public Elsecallers in Urithuru XD
  21. Any amount of Influence will influence you, more Investiture is there and stronger the influence is. Of course in the case of a Splinter this is a bit vague as the Splinters is another entity junctioned to your Soul so probably the influence is less than having directly an equivalent amount of Investiture in your soul
  22. I mainly read it in the same way
  23. I am quite sure Kel is stronger (allomantic speaking) than Vin. Anyway I saw a lot of comparison on "Vin killed a Fullborn, while Kel was killed by him". It's true but this tell us nothing about their abilities. Yeah Vin killed a Fullborn with an evident weakspot using an external power once of a luckly set of events she was able to understand TLR's nature. This doesn't give us any clue about Vin aganist a proper Fullborn and by the way, we don't need it as a Fullborn is something completelly beyond schemes and no Vin, Kelsier or Wax (and probably neither the three of them teaming up) will be able to properly defeat. BUT here are we talking about a challenge with A-Steel alone, so my whole post here is meaningless too X
  24. The Unmade probably predate the Radiants. By the way, an Unmade Who bonds with Someone Will be less a Treat than before. He will be no more free to go around and follow his purpose without break the Bond. By WoB, the Unmade are on Roshar to extent the influence Odium can't direct performe for some techical problems, restrain them Will make them less efficient without a real benefit
  25. Well at least for the Speed you have 100% right (for SF's words) the others is still likely but not confirmed. I am start to ask (by your reply) if the Everstorm will consume itself in the end, and the Stormforms have to periodically re-summon it
