Frost doesn't seem to have a bad opinion of Adonalsium. He also warned Hoid from messing with Adonalsium's design.

If you read my post. You probably noticed that I mentioned have "two Powers in the same powerset" and Twinborns don't fall into that definition. I also mentioned the twinborns in the last paragrapher but It's not what the OP asked. By the way, Harmony didn't prevent Mistborn and Full Feruchemist to happen, Simply the Feruchemical genes and the Allomantic genes mix bad together and prevent the full extension of each One. This is the reason the Ferring appears...the F-genes was messed by the Allomantic ones. And most of the strong nobles bloodlines were mostly destroyed, the Allomantic potential was diluited too much to gave birth to a Mistborn. This and a full Feruchemist could still happen in pure bloodlines but It's extremely rare (I am even sure It exist yet a pure Nobles Bloodline)

[OB] Rosharan Ethnic Groups and Honor's Perpendicularity
Yata replied to Blackhoof's topic in Stormlight Archive
I believe we have WoB about. More specifically WoB that describes the Singers-humans hybrids as something that predate the Shards. The problem is mainly that the Spren have to know that they could performe Surges of that magnitude and this is something we were told they discovered only coping the Honorblades. Honor himself was surprised by this. You are not the First to propose this Nalthis stuff but honestly, I can't see this as possible. The only "weird hair" is something related to a specific bloodline Who inherited fractions of divine Breath. All the Roshar's etnicity predate Vo and also if there were other Returned before him...how streched is that a whole popolations his Returned-like? Edit: I checked and the WoB I refered about the hybrids were clarified and It doesn't apply to this context. I Will post It as Soon as I could use a desktop PC EDIT 2: Here the (not more) relevant WoB: -
[OB] Rosharan Ethnic Groups and Honor's Perpendicularity
Yata replied to Blackhoof's topic in Stormlight Archive
I believe the whole discussion miss a crucial point. Some Humans arrived by another World and becomed the Voidbringers. But there where already Humans of Roshar prior than that. So the in mixing of those two kinds of Humans could be the cause of Rosharans variability. Regard the Oathgates, they can't predate the Knight Radiant as the Radiant Spren discovered only After the Heralds' Honorblade to be' able to performe Surgebinding (and the Oathgates use the Trasportation Surge). One last thought, but It's not really relevant. Some Rosharan's etnicity came from species other than Singers' influence. The Natan are for example mixed with the Aimians and Roshar's weird genetics could explain some of the other funcy stuffs that happened to mankind's diversity. I Talk about the mixing of genetic material rather than the way It happen in real world (Alethi's hair an example of this) -
I don't think Lift's curse is related to the Nightmare. But I like the general concept of the Nightwatcher as the Spren of Dreams. The simply description of Lift and her dislike for dreaming is not too hard to understand for a child Who lived Lift's Life. Regardless of the Nightmare (spookie enough) or the good Dreams (that curse you when you awake and realize that all' was fake) you could imagine that the Life she could dream of is the Life with his Mother alive. Returning to the main point, also if the Nightwatcher could be the Spren of the Dreams. Most of the others curses are not related to Nightmares so I can't drawn a connection to them and Old Magic. There is something that maybe I misunderstood Reading the book. I feel that Dalinar's boon/curse was permanent like the others (Cultivation performed the Old Magic in Place of the Nightwatcher but still under the same rules) and Dalinar recovered his memories only because Odium explicity made him di it. The Cultivation's line about "they will return One day" is not because the modification had a countdown/timelimit but because She already know that Odium will interfere to restore Dalinar's memories. PS: Cultivation is not specifically the Shard of vegetation or nature. It's the Shard of change, scientific advanced is of Cultivation in the same way the natural growth is

Timbre can't be' Eshonai. First of all is almost Realmatic impossibile to her becoming a CS and transition in the PR. Much more as you said, Timbre was already showed in WoR around Eshonai. She was probably trying to bond her but bond a Listener is not Easy and equal to an Human. The only istance when Timbre had a chance was when Eshonai took the Stormform and She failed. Other reasons for Timbre to be' a Radiant Spren are: - She gave to Venli the Surgebinding - She explicity said to Venli that the Humans killed his granpa and Venli replied She had no idea that the Humans killed so many of Timbre's kind. This implies Timbre and Venli's kinds are not the same. Timbre is a Lightspren (most likely the willshaper's Spren) and more specifically She could be Ico's daugher. He said his daugher left the work to Chase impossibile Dreams and he has a deadeyes (his father) looked in the ship. That deadeyes is likely the Timbre's grandpa killed by a Radiant during the Recreance

@thejopen27 It's extremely unlikely that Restares is Ishar. First of all, the whole point of the sons of Honor is about call what the Heralds want to avoid in order to make them return. It's a no sense for an Heralds to want that. Much more for an Heralds Who is in contact with the others (at least one)

[OB] [Mistborn Spoilers] Mistwraith in a Highstorm
Yata replied to Personification's topic in Cosmere Discussion
@Personification Your idea is really interesting but I believe it could not work. Of course I am not the bearer of the Truths so you could be right and maybe I am wrong -
I believe the Fused doesn't Voidbind but rather they used simply Surgebinding (that I assume, they used in a Fabrial-like way) fueled by Voidlight rather than Stormlight So in theory (with the possible exception of Renarin) we didn't see the Voidbinding yet.

I believe that Death Rattles could be called "bad" because probably the Unmade exploit them to gain Informations. Informations usable by Odium

[OB] [Mistborn Spoilers] Mistwraith in a Highstorm
Yata replied to Personification's topic in Cosmere Discussion
People with Spiritual Wounds were not healed by the Everstorm, so I assume the Storm targeted the Parshmen specifically. And also if it doesn't the Parshman and Mistwraith are not the same kind of issue: - The Parshmen have a Spiritual Wound, A piece of their Soul was ripped away. - The Mistwraiths are Soul-whole but they have an actually "extra" a "block" between their Cognitive and their Physical. -
Probably the people accepted Szeth a bit too fast but. Lift already know him and he already clarified no harm Will be done to her. He arrived with Lift to Dalinar. Dalinar probably already know (from Kal and researches) what a Truthless is. Much more, he could feel his Nahel Bond and (but this is wrong) assume all' the Radiants as trustworthy. This, in the middle of a critical situation made Szeth a welcoming ally. Kal already know how Szeth is and how far he went for his file as Truthless. Jasnah's attitude is probably similar to Kal's One. This of course, in the middle of the Battle. In the battle's aftermath, Szeth already proved himself as valuable in the city's salvation. At least three nations have reason to want him as ally and consider him trustworthy. I assume there will be' people aganist him but It's the standard outcome in a Wide and fragment Alliance

The other already replied deeply about the Ferrings (One Power Feruchemists). There are not natural way to be' a "two Powers in the same powerset Metalborn" (Metalborn is someone with Allomantic or Feruchemical Powers). The only ways to obtain that scenario are: - Hemalurgy - gain mechanically the Powers (I remain vague as you don't read the Era2 yet) - Lerasium Alloys (that gift a Misting Power and therefore if you are already a Misting and you swallow an Alloy to gain another Allomantic Power, you Will have two Powers). It could happen to have a single Allomantic Power and a single Feruchemical Power naturally also if It's very rare.

Well thanks to the Southern tech. I Will assume Almost everybody rich enough Will buy and use regular One of them. The riches "powerless" are going to vanish

As Spool already said, many of the Odium's crimes' locations are places where there is a surplus of free Investiture. This is One of the main requirements for the Cognitive Shadows' birth. But It's not something Odium made of stuff like that. Remember also that the Evil (whatever It is) is something incredible recent, while the fight with Ambition is thousands of years old. There could be a connection but It's not too direct, much more as the Evil happens while Odium is trapped on Roshar

The feverstone keep scene is quite explicit, all' the Windrunner and Stonewarden come to that Place to break their Oaths. The Nahel Bond was fine before that action as It showed by the Windrunner's arrive through Surges. By the way, It's not the give away the Shards that killed the Spren, the Radiants broke heir Oaths separatelly than giving away the Shards.

New novella - Silverlight, First of the Sun or non-Cosmere?
Yata replied to Extesian's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Recently he said to have an idea about Sixt of the Dusk exploring Shadesmar. -
Nightblood has a limit to his ability to consume Investiture. If we assume for an arbitrary reason (that I find unlikely) that a Shard is unable to destroy NB while he eats his Perpendicularity. The Shard could simply destroy NB after he stopped to eat and go "to sleep".

(OB) Lightweavers could produce radiation
Yata replied to TheMediocreMind's topic in Stormlight Archive
They could do it in theory. the problem is only in the amount of Investiture required for this. The Stormlight's requirement is proibitive- 26 replies

Actually no, every piece of Iron (and the same for the others) from everywhere in the Cosmere will be ok for Metallic Arts. The power is not in the metal, the metal simply work as filter for the magic. You could have some problems with the alloys as they need to be with the right percentages and probably off planet every alloy is probably off for magical usage
-
It's probably what happens in those cases. Of course you have to have big and multiple gemstones to waste for this tactic but it's probably worthy almost always
-
There is also Timbre's favorite way to comunicate, through pulses and beats, we saw the Reachers (or Lightspren) able to comunicate with each other using the vibrations using the ship's metal deck as vector of comunication. Of course we could not have the 100% proofs, but almost all the clues point to Timbre as a lightspren. The only slight counter is her look regard the Lightspren we saw in the Cognitive Realm. But honestly we saw also, Sapient "StoneSpren" and probably those are the Stonewarden's spren.

Would being killed by Nightblood keep you from going to the afterlife
Yata replied to Housedunn's topic in Stormlight Archive
Like Calderis said. Sazed has his own belief about the Beyond but he has not an actual knowledge of it.
