  1. Yeah my interpretation of "given up to the gemstone" is leterally "you change your name". By the way, the letter itself continues talking/joking on Hoid's most recent alias (The Wit) so It's a very likely possibility
  2. The Gem-Shattering is an effect that could happen when you pulled away the Stormlight too fast...this is the reason the Soulcasters regularry broke them, because they use all the Stormlight in a little timeframe. I really doubt the plants do the same, it will be a known fact if people will find gem shattered after an Highstorm (I assume it's not too uncommon to leave spheres near a plant).
  3. Just what you already wrote. The Dragonsteel is for now (and It's not even Canon) just an indistruttibile one-time programmable metal. You could start to add to it, new and esoteric properties but for now... Cutting between Realms is Just a speculation. For now the only stuffs capable of freely cutting between Realms are the Shardblade-class Objects and I really doubt the Dragonsteel could be nearly as Invested to reach that class. IF Leras's knife is actually made of DS, i Will find more likely that Leras's influence allow It to cut between the Realms... It's not something too difficoult for a Shard. On a last note, we didn't see many Vessels at all
  4. Leras's knife seem to be more a manifestation of the Shard rather than an actual physical object. So if we want to define, to me, It's more close to a Shardblade (in the Cosmere's general meaning, not a Sprenblade).
  5. If this is what you wanted to prove, I strongly disagree on all the line. I believed the whole point was to concentrate enough Investiture to reach the "Realms' breaking point" and in that you considerate those powers as far superios to others, it appears I misunderstood you.
  6. First of all, yeah...Some powers could suck, it's not a videogame where the powers need to be balanced or something like that. Secondly, in theory a Alluminium Gnat with a tons of mental elasticity could destroy metal objects inserting them into his system (for example burning away from existence a knife who is stabbing you). It's hard and probably really timing dependant...but it will be in the scope of their powers. A Duralluminium Gnat is denied this chance instead
  7. Yeah I understood your point. Simply as I already told you, I see it not different from the rest of the Allomancy's powers. You ALWAYS pull energy from the Spiritual and in many cases you use this Investiture to add energy to the Physical Realm (for example every application to Steel/Iron Allomancy). To be completelly honest, if the amount of Investiture involved is enough to craft a micro-perpendicularity by case (and I am not sure to agree with this) I see more a micro-perpendicularity be crafted when that Investiture is gathered and used in a limited/minimal zone (for example the Allomancy who affect mainly a single spot/being) I may see the reason you believe time-allomancy could do what you say...Simply I am not of the same opinion of your
  8. @Krypton Savant as @Metalrift said: A perpendicularity could be create with a lot less invesiture than we saw with the Well. Of course we are talking of volatile Perpendicularities...something that could last moments. We know there are specific magic systems that could create a micro-perpendicularity with a Gem-worth amount of Stormlight for example. Another note and maybe someone will have to correct the Coppermind's page. A perpendicularity is a spot where an high amount of Investiture bend the Realms but this junction is not only PR-CR, instead it pierces PR-CR-SR. I still don't believe the Cadmius-Bendalloy's allomancy has a special treatment in creating Perpendicularity in the Metallic Arts.
  9. @Agent34 @StormingTexan thanks I forgot the istance. By the way, it's not really relevant...But a Mistborn will simply die if he try to burn somethng not Allomantic-Compatible (while K has not Allomancy and therefore no problems...well except his missing heartbeat) of course there are some further ramifications, is the indistructible Dragonsteel able to be affected at all by Allomancy ? It appear to be high invested (not for its durability but...well it has some magical property from the second chapter) and therefore able to resist magic....In the end I belive that without further proof, burning Dragonsteel would be much like try to burn a piece (Honestly I don't know how you will break it) of Shardblade. EDIT: yeah speculate of this kind of things is probably meaningless, but I let my brain go wild...sorry
  10. What scene do you refer to?
  11. First of all I am aganist the "Adonalsium's Future-sight have to be better than the Shards' one" because simply we don't know...As far as we know Adonalsium's Future sight could easly be between the better Seer between the Shards and the worst one (for the simple fact that the Shards could be saw as Adonalsium's specialization). About your points: 1- this is the most unlikely it's not meaningful if the Alluminium can't be saw with Investiture...you don't need to see the Alluminium to know it killed you (hypotetic scenario: if you burn Electrum and then a simply guy shoot you dead with an alluminium bullet....the Shadow will still show you as be hitted and dead) 2- this is an actual possibility, of course we don't know enough to know if this is a likely situation or not. For Adonalsium could be not interested into "be alive", he already completed his purpose (I proposed something like that in another topic) or simply his Shattering and the outcome was part of some kind of masterplan. 3- (by Overstorm) again this is possible but maybe I see it a little less likely than (2). It will deeply depend on the Intent/Mandate's nature...Did the Shards actually inherited them from Andy or did the original Vessel crafted them from nothing when they broke Adonalsium ?
  12. His life sense (given to him by the Breath) alone will be enough to detect a KR as High Invested as humans...Much more he will be able to sense Pattern (or Syl) too so 2+2 for him.
  13. I believe the only limit a Kandra has to his size is for the square-cube law....So it could be really big but soon or later he will be unable to sustain his simple weight. For example we have a WoB on a Kandra be unable to replicate a certain creature from SA because the physics alone doesn't allow something so huge to be mobile
  14. The Spiritual Realm is location indipendant and loosely time dependant.
  15. Every Allomancer moves Investiture from the Spiritual to the other Realms, in this pulsers/sliders are no special

    Hunger

The main theory for now is that happens because the increased Mental activity makes you expend sugar faster...The brain consumes already a great amout of sugar from the bloodstream
  17. Yeah probably the only "Tanavastium" we saw is in the Honorblades. I am still not sure about the Sprenblades' composition because we have to know the Spren's composition. But I believe it's not a properly alloy between the two godmetals but rather a proper metal born by the H&C's interaction (also if this fact is weird as the ratio between the Shard's contributions changes between the Spren)
  18. Devotion and Dominion are still Invested on Sel. Adonalsium's Investiture instead was stolen and divided among the Vessels. It's also possible Adonalsium had not a Pool but it will depend on how Adonalsium "worked"...It was only a "super shard" or something different in function ? We don't know yet
  19. It's not simply inaccessibile. It was severed from the Former owner. It was no more "part of him"...the simple fact that the Power didn't return to him when consumed It is (for me) a clear proof. I see that Power not too differently from the hipotetical Power lost by another Odium's Victim in a Shardworld we saw. The owner was still alive After lose It but It was no more part of himself. In both of cases I assume the Former owner could reConnect with the Power with a bit of effort. On this topic I believe that if someone manage to Ascend to Honor also reaching only the minimal threeshold (Let's say 5-10% of Honor's power) he/she could reConnect himself with the bit of Power spread Upon Roshar's system and slowly recover Power. But Sorry, this is OT. Maybe I Will start a new topic about. Returning to the actual point, I believe Odium-Shard is in good shape but Rayse is not, in the similar way of Leras (but in a very lessen way)
  20. I considerated this but new Connections could be Forgered (or the old repaired). In a notable case a Shard was fully capable of recover a portion of his power that was completelly severed from himself (again, I am vague to avoid spoileR to the otheRs but I assume you undeRstood, the case I am RefeRing to)
  21. This is the reason many people call the the Shardblades' metal "Tanavastium" but it's an unproper term as many Radiantspren are a mix of Honor and Cultivation. By the way we don't know how a Plate comes to be so we can only speculate about its composition. It's a common theory that Investiture could be solified only as metal. Wyndle confirmed the Spren could only become Metallic object
  22. I believe that without a Nahel Bond (or other Spirit-Web coded powers) also if you could invest yourself you will not gain what we usually associate with "Stormlight's benefit". To be more precise, I believe what we called "Stormlight's passive benefits" are not stormlight's properties but rather an Surgebinding's effect

    Dragonsteel

You could find the first two chapters here
  24. Investiture influences always but the amount of Influence is proportional to the amount of Investiture. An Human is Simply very loosely bound to that rules as his soul is made of relative Little Investiture
  25. As Stormlight Archive have to be a standalone series the introduction of an unkwon Shard from nothing is unlikely. The Cosmere's knowledge needed to understand this as a whole without a Deus Ex Machina feel is too High for the target Reader.
