Except the Stormlight is now so rare they are forced to buy It to an high price and they give It all to Radiants
-
Wyndle was planning to bond Ym before the Circle forced him to go to Lift
-
It could be a safe system working with the same spansreed's concept. He unmade is trapped in a gemstone and then the gemstone is divided. Unless all' of them are broken the Unmade remain partially in chain

The only problem here, is that I can't see the sense of this. Waiting Kal ti return to Urithuru to start a new Mission for his powers and only at this point gave the Honorblade to Elhokar is a inefficient Plan. They could start the Mission now, with Elhokar as powers' source (Or everyone else to be honest). If the Bridge 4 has some familiarity with the Windrunner's Surges...It could be Better to gave them the Honorblade.

Like Watchcry said he can't do It without Stormlight and much more he didn't experience nothing like the Stormlight's feeling...if you add to this that a Truthwatchers performed his Surges ti him.... It's really unlikely Adolin is the Healing's source

[OB] **Oathbring Spoilers** Did Dalinar do it?
Yata replied to Lightning's topic in Stormlight Archive
I believe Dalinar killed the Kid but in a messy way. A kid in his path with the treasure he seek for years was such as an offense to his Thrilled self that he didn't Simply killed him...he progressed further, maybe Ruins the corpse After or maybe broking his mind before killing him -
[OB] Bondsmith/Truthwatcher team to Awaken dead blades
Yata replied to Watchcry's topic in Stormlight Archive
I don't follow you. Do You mean using Illumination's Surge to show an alternate self ? If this is the case (and I don't see how this would affected the "reviving a Deadblade") what the Bondsmith's use here ? -
I believe the Surges are basically the same across the Orders, the Little differences could come from the Resonance (if applicabile) or the RK's attitude. I believe a specific order could use both of his Surges to synergize but there Will be two distinct Surges used for gaining an advantage for the second. By the way It's what I believed It happened with Renarin, he used both Illumination and Progression. Stupid example: A Windrunner could use the the Adesion's Surge to Stick something to the ground before using the gravitation's Reverse Lashing to make a mess of everything...except the stickied object. Or the probably Dustbringer's conjoined use of Division and Friction to make explosion

You have right BUT the Spikes lose a noticable amout of power at his creation alone and then they lose more (slowly) as they are out of body. You may notice this from the Inquisitors, they recive (mostly) their Spike directly from the Donor's killing... But they still recive a significant weaker abilities than the average ones

Actually I don't see Nightblood as nothing like mechanical, regardless his origin Nightblood is a Sapient Splinter as every other Spren is. It's hard to define what is a "mechanical way" in the Cosmere but I assume it would require a not magic user using a not living tool to performe magic. Mistborn Era 2 spoiler: But I see where you want to point

There is nothing in that Ardent suggesting something more with herself. I am not saying you are wrong but every "hidden character" has something you could use to point to something more (Zahel has at least 3 clues of this type) I believe her training with sword is not enough as if she is an Ardent from a long time, she will have all the time to train with sword.
-
I believe that if this was the case, Bleeder would be unable to keep her high Speed too long as her Power is Hemalurgy gifted and therefore noticable weaker than the standard one
-
I don't believe the SF enhanched their Bond, He simply recorded and acknowledged the fact. By the way Kal simply drawned the corridor's Stormlight and as far as we could know it's in the scope of his ability to do something like that. There is a Stormlight's burst when Kal spoke the Oath but we know by other istances and WoB that could happen without SF

How are the heralds superior to the Knights Radiant?
Yata replied to ICanDream's topic in Stormlight Archive
I didn't point to them because we are in SA's section. Anyway we don't know if the Returned's enhanced physical is due the divine Breath, sure it's possible also likely that someone having more Innate Investiture could benefit from it. But I believe that a Cognitive Shadow's Soul is more Invested than a standard human. PS: By the way, we don't know if there is an analogue that allow the Heralds to remain in a physical body that could work a bit like the divine Breath (also if for Roshar's ambient is possible it's easier for a Shadow to be stampled into a body -
But all the other cases are present events vision not future ones

I believe you don't need a specialized Command but the Intent to make this kind of Awakening works would be magnitude more complex. And as other said, using blood or "special water" (for example Soulcasted water) will turn this kind of Awakening more easier

How are the heralds superior to the Knights Radiant?
Yata replied to ICanDream's topic in Stormlight Archive
They doesn't show any sign of Plate in the prologue and we know the standard Plates intefer with Honorblade's powers. About their improved physical fests, I believe It's simply the result of their CS's status. -
I believe Nightblood would be able to offer a margin of defense aganist those things as if it manages to destroy their Cognitive and Spiritual they will be erased from existence (like the solid things are)...The problem here lies in how hard is to manage to destroy those Minds and Souls

[OB] Adolin didn't kill Sadeus -For completeness
Yata replied to Storyspren's topic in Stormlight Archive
For a moment I will assume the Stormfather has the reasons to do It. That could still not work, mind-control requires backdoor to the Soul the Stormfather can't have regard of Adolin. He managed to do something like we saw with Shallan under very soecific restrictions: 1) She was near the Stormfather's physical Agent 2) She is bond with a Radiantspren and this could offer a backdoor for him but surelly connects them more 3) that was very likely the Bondsmith's Resonance. By the way, as we saw the Murder from Adolin's PoV we could also see how the feel is nothing like the Cosmere's possession we know -
[OB] The Heralds: Obsessed with the Divine Attributes
Yata replied to Argent's topic in Stormlight Archive
I have an hypotesis for Ishar (and could be badly wrong) and nothing on Chana but I think we Will Need something more than "he can't be' anything else or his look fits" to play at Where is the Heralds? -
[OB] The Heralds: Obsessed with the Divine Attributes
Yata replied to Argent's topic in Stormlight Archive
Nooooooo, More Line ! More Line ! Anyway I find your recap of the Heralds' reference and status really good. I would add a couple of possibilities for some Heralds' locations but it's really tangential to the topic. My idea about the Reasons for their "madness" could be a bit out of the main comunity's one. I believe their "madness" isn't really connected with the Oathpact. But rather it's a simply result of their status of Cognitive Shadows. For this I will considerate a Cognitive Shadow (and therefore an Herald) as some Human-spren and we know the Cognitive Entities are influenced by the how is viewed. How will a Cognitive Shadow react after been exposed for thousand of years to the Vorin's belief ? I think it will chance them from people....to stereotypes. The Spren are the same, they are extreme in their view of the world. PS: I will add something to this post later because now I could not remain at the PC EDIT: I think the same thing will happen with all the CS over the time and this is the reason some of them we know try to have a low profile or be not around the places where they are well knowed -
It's not a matter of species, almost every sapient being could pick up a Shard. It's a matter of Connections and attuning. As you pointed about Sazed, he would not be able to pick Ruin if he didn't suffer as he did in HoA or Kelsier would be completelly unable to pick up Preservation (without Ire's Orb) as He is not Connected enough to Preservation (ironically Kelsier would be able to pick up Ruin as he is really well Connected with it). About the new Odium, I already pointed out...He would not have the same skill Rayse had, but remember Sazed was able to re-shape a world without practice as soon as He Ascends and there are forces at work to limit his knowledge. Another Vessel would leard more faster than him and after all, depending of Cultivation's status a noob Shard is still a huge treat.

Era 2 took place after SA arc1 not the whole Stormlight Archive. By the way, AoL already spoils something of the Arc1's ending by Brandon's own words (many believes is the Miles lines about "where the honor dies and lie until it's forged stronger than before" or something like that...My books isn't in english). True but everyone else as Odium's Vessel is still a menace. The kind of man/woman who could Ascend to Odium have to be compatible with the Shard and we don't know....He could be worst than Rayse (but very very less skilled)

I could respect your point, but in your way the whole things are less credible. If Elend fights aganist a Koloss Army he would end with him unharmed or dead. If luckly he was badly wounded but alive, he could not survive all the time for Vin to return, carry him into the Well and the whole sequence who allow him to be alive but in need of Lerasium. The whole sequence was also useful to make a fix the MistGhost's status if he is an ally or a manace. There are other reasons but I could not tell you in this context. Remember only that if Elend wants to be a good King, he need also to understand he could not take the burden of everyone on his shoulder and sometimes He need to make the others does their sacrifice. He is a symbol and a symbol is not meant to die. PS: You seems to think that Elend would join the fight if he remained in Luthadel....He would not, he is not a fighter and he would probably be with Doc in his last moments.

This was a popular theory I don't remember if it was debunked or something similar. As far as my Realmatic Knowledge goes it's not possible to cut off something from the CR unless nobody lives there and nobody think to that places (and we know this could not be the Shinovar case). About the KR's ability I think they will be fine at least the one that doesn't require to jump between Realms (always in your case, Soulcasting and Elsecalling) witch will requires more Kinetic Investiture to operate (at least Elsecalling). About your Mistborn Secret History Spoiler, I think Shinovar has Spren almost like the rest of Roshar (maybe lesser in number) but simply those Spren didn't "pop up" with a manifestation in the physical realm. Nothing prevent a Spren from moving around without the planet so I believe there are Spren who "pass for Shinovar to go somewhere". I am unsure but there are some clues about the Nightwatcher to be in Shinovar.
