  1. Wow....hopefully I never end up on your bad side. Just not sure about these ones. Can a mistborn continuously duralumin burn anything?
  2. I figured it was mostly to be a living organ donor to his crew. The more real organs he can study, the better he can produce.
  3. I was thinking #2. We know three aether names. This might be a fourth. https://coppermind.net/wiki/Aether
  4. I thought they could only be used by a metal born from what she had said. But you're right Ten Soon confirmed they were drained. Chapter 48.
  5. My thought is similar, with a big difference. Collusion between the assistant governor and Malwish, but that the Bands weren't drained. She just lied about it to make it easier for the Elendelians to give them up. She was the only one who tried them, correct?
  6. No more Friday Night Lights?
  7. I haven't read Wheel of Time in years, but my first thought was that he could just open a gateway.
  8. Urithiru reminds me of Moya from Farscape. https://farscape.fandom.com/wiki/Moya
  9. I like this idea. Something along the lines of respecting the choices others make. "I will let others make sacrifices" or maybe even "I will let myself be saved by others"
  10. The same reason an Awakener would defend Kholinar against the singers. But I agree. I like the idea of the Mink being a 'normal' person. Most of my favorite characters are Herdazians. The Lopen, Paloma, the Mink,
  11. I thought the WoB was the opposite, that they'd be interested much more in the field agents. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/367/#e11599 KING What would it take for a member of the Seventeenth Shard Shard to convert over to a member of the Ghostbloods? Brandon Sanderson Oh, the Ghostbloods would actively recruit from them. So, I think it would not be terribly difficult. It 's gonna depend on which kind of Seventeenth Sharder. Because there are a lot of non-field-agent Seventeenth Sharders, which would be less interesting. Field agents, they would actively recruit.
  12. After reading chapter 13, I can't help but think of them as Halliburton and Mraize as Dick Cheney.
  13. The way the message uses the superlative, "You have caused more pain than any living person" makes me think that the message isn't sincere. Unless Navani has done something incredibly drastic in the last year that we don't know about yet, I don't think it's true. I think the messenger is trying to instill doubt and fear to prevent Navani from further developments. So my guess is someone from Odium's side.
  14. This made my day! Thank you
  15. He might not have become a Radiant, but Amaram sure got some pretty cool powers near the end of Oathbringer.
  16. I imagined it as a normal spear that had aluminium lines running up and down the length and on the opposite end of the spearhead was installed the Light sucking gem stone. I didn't think they were related. But now that I think about it....If I was a Fused and had a gemstone or fabrial like that. I'd just throw it at an unsuspecting Windrunner. Kinda like a grenade, or the game the Skybreakers played. One hit, BAM, he's now a Windfaller Radiant. So maybe they are connected somehow. I'm sure we'll learn more. I can't wait.
  17. Did anyone else find the kidnapping conversation.....odd? Shallan/Veil/Radiant (SVR?) gets kidnapped. The hood comes off and she has two sentences of confusion, not fear or anger. Then falls into an almost normal conversation. I would think the SoH would expect more fight or pushback. I find it so unnatural, I'm struggling to enjoy the rest of the chapters.
  18. The time skips seem necessary to keep to his 10 book outline. While I would love a 20 book SA series, I think I'd rather he keep it to 10 and also write about other Cosmere worlds.
  19. I love that Lirin sees the Parsh the same way as the lighteyes. I hope he gets to meet Rlain and that they work together to repair the racial divide.(Rlain is who I'm hoping becomes a Bondsmith)
  20. I'd say for a 13 year-old boy, he did pretty well.
  21. Terrible Lying Rebel - Moash Zane Oops, just realized you asked for Mistborn specificly.
  22. That image really jumped out at me as something more than normal physical ability. His opening fight scene when he saved Ais was impressive, but catching the dart/arrow was too good to be natural. I'd love to find out more about his past AND his future. He's the most intriguing character to me in the series.
  23. It's good you stopped there then. Perrin was my favorite too for the first 4 or 5 books. After that, most of his chapters were a chore to read.
  24. The first part of the book was released 3 chapters per week. I remember being disappointed with the story through all of that part. Kaladin's arc was boring and he was the only one not in El Dorado, I mean, the Stone of Tear, I mean Urithu. It picked up after the first third, and the last section of Oathbringer is my favorite of all Sanderson's endings.
  25. Other - Ialai. She's as bad as Sadeas, only still alive.
