I don't have my copy, but I don't think Nazh was talking about becoming a shade, but rather a cognitive shadow. I see shades as a small subset of those.

When Nightblood was thrown in the bay, he was able to get Chapps to fish him out, row him to shore and got into a building, presumably while talking with him. Then he went blood-bath mode on a group, including Chapps.

@Scion of the Mists I see that WoB as saying that every time she hears her brother's voice, that it's a mix of Ruin and Reen. That Ruin influences it every time. Not that 25% of the times it is just Reen and the rest are just Ruin. Just like Ruin 'adjusts' the writing so they are still partly correct.

I think every time Vin hears her brother, it's really Ruin. Ruin is playing the long game. I think he knew that Vin would need Elend's influence to get to the point that she would release the power at the Well.

If I remember right, Hoid was initially surprised that he 'hurt' Kelsier.

I don't have Edgedancer with me, but I'm pretty sure Lift started noticing that she was growing, at least a little bit. I figured that her growth has been stunted because most of her nutrition gets converted into Awesomeness, but she still ages.

He has a boon/curse of being varying degrees of intelligent on different days. On his 'smartest' day he came up with the Diagram which he wrote all over his bedroom. It has since been compiled into a book/manuscript. He also has followers, the group is also called the Diagram. The Diagram is what pushed Mr T to get Szeth, the Truthless Shin, to kill so many other kings and leaders. The Nightwatcher, sometimes referred to as the Old Magic, gives people who visit her a boon and a curse. Some notable visitors are Lift, Dalinar, and Mr T. You will learn a lot more about that in Oathbringer, and some in Edgedancer.

I read Elantris without knowing anything about Brandon, the Cosmere,or anything else. I liked it, but didn't look for more. I heard about Brandon taking over WoT and looked him up. Then I realized I'd already read one of his books.

When I think of Adolin and Edgedancers, I always think about when Kaladin was sneaking through the camps and saw Adolin stand up to Sadeas' men to protect the prostitute. To me, that was a great example of 'remembering those who are forgotten.'
