If your magic is based on belief and a colective unconscious of sorts, it seems logical and easy to implement. Perhaps certain time periods have ressonance with certain spirits, making it easier to summon them. Or perhaps the particular history of those days gave them some sort of power of their own, that warps spirits summoned on these days towards different aspects or earlier forms.

Deadpool... Yeah, I don't care at all about this movie, and while I am just old enough to see it, I probably never will. I mean, I don't really care for comedy, unless it is the kind of comedy this movie has, in which case, I would rather avoid seeing at at all costs. It is not that can't find it funny, but I generaly don't, and after it is over I end up angry and stressed. To put it short: feel free to watch the movie, but don't expect me to understand the hype.
