  1. Those two things are not mutualy exclusive, you know?
  2. If she wishes to flee to Brazil(not somethimg I would recomend, but I think it is far away enough), I speak english fluently.
  3. It doens't happen often on Brazil either... although if you consider we were a brutal* military dictatorship a few decades ago, it is to be expected that impeachment didn't have the time to happen often in the young democracy that followed. However, recently many management mistakes and a major corruption scandal surfaced and removed the credibility of the party in power, and their most vital allies in the legislative, many of whom never were ideologically aligned with them anyway, jumped from the ship. Without traditional allies, and with economic politics that diverged from the "Welfare State" model she promised, the president fond herself paralysed, and as the economy got worse and the investigations got closer and closer to her predecessor, political mentor and face of the party, the number of people supporting her outside of her party became smaller and smaller, and the vice president, from the same party as those former allies and articulator between her and them, joined her opposers. And most of the population wants her to leave. Some for good reasons, some because of simple indignation, and some... well, some were asking for "military intervention in the name of democracy". Luckly, those last are a minority, but they do reflect the ultraconservatives in the congress and senate. I, however, think the current government is the lesser evil. *On the Brazillian Military Dictatorship's brutality: while it is true other Latin American right-wing dictatorships in the times of the Cold War had more names crossed out in their notebooks, so to say, the Brazillian one was still extremely cruel, and turture technicians from here were very often responsible for training others in our neigthboorhood.
  4. It seens that that the impeachment(is that even a thing in the US?) of the current president of Brazil is going to be approved. This worries me more than I'd like to say to my right-wing family, since while president Dilma is, IMO, incompetent and has lost too many allegiances to be able to actually do anything about the current crisis, if she gets removed from power the nation will be in the hands of extreme right ultraconservatives. Of course, you are free to ignore this post. I doubt many of you gave the time to worry about the politics of third-world countries. I just needed some space to start a random rant.
  5. Takes one to catch one? And no, I am not going to do that Bill Cipher thing you did. I am above chaos.
  6. Because we are still unsure if I got Oversleep right.EDIT: worked!
  7. @Oversleep: Tenor, calm, with a small hint of eagerness. Speaking slightly fast, but still very clearly.
  8. Forgot to say, but you were right, Morzathoth, about you voice in my head being scarily close to your voice in the Physical Realm.
  9. I could post my voice, but I prefer to make you think I sound like a "badchull Celtic woman", as The Only Joe said.
  10. I can hear you... But yes, people find me creepy all the time in real life. I tend tp tone it down on the internet.
  11. Voidus has a very deep voice in my head, probably bass. But it is deep in a soft, "gentle giant" way. Or as gentle as a hemalurgist can sound. 'Zathoth has a sterotypical light aristocratic acent in my head for some reason. Other than that, his voice is pretty normal. OK, perhaps a bit more nasal than most, but only slightly. On terms of range, I'd say baritone, but closer to tenor than bass.
  12. No, Veil has no freckles! That picture needs to be mirrored ASAP to not break character.
  13. People, I am afraid something terrible is happening. Was I the only one who noticed that in the "Frenemies" sketch Shallan is holding her shardblade with her... exposed safehand?
  14. Wait. So you have been reading my posts with a silly cartoony crow voice in your head for all this time?EDIT: @Cognizantastic: I've met many people called Henrique, but I never heard of anybody called Enrique before.
  15. Nalan uses a regrowth fabrial. It is super effective. So is mine! The only known way of removing parts of people's spiritwebs other than true Breaths is through HEMALURGY.
  16. Please, we all know she would need hemalurgy to steal parts of Rosharan spiritwebs. And the only groups not linked to Harmony that we know of with knowledge of the Dark Art are the 17th Shard and the Set, one of which avoids intervention. That is right, Vivenna is part of the Set, and wants to use those fake Breaths to take over the world with a high-tech Lifeless Army before either the Radiants or the Voidbringers get too far to be controlled. Good enough?
  17. Ha! I proposed that before! I also speculated she was the Nightwatcher, so double tinfoil! Outcrazy that, I dare you.
  18. I am not sure, the only blond guy in any piece of fiction that pretty that I know of is Lucius, from Fire Emblem, and I don't think even the shard of Odium could drive him evil.
  19. Why? Masks are cool.
  20. I've read the first two books and disliked them. Too much telling about the antagonist's charisma that I just couldn't see, plot twists without much foreshadowing, and no characters I've found interesting, except maybe Simon and that traitor guy who died in book 2, whose name I can't even remember anymore. Mind you, it is not horrible, but I just can't understand what the hype is about.
  21. Wait. Aren't there asian monks who chant?
  22. Voidbringer forms are just listener forms of power. What I am saying is that "voidbinding" is a more specific magic system that is not directly linked to listener forms, which I believe Brandon didn't consider a magic system when he answered there are only 3/30 magic systems on Roshar
  23. Weirdly enough, that song fits very well with my story. Except my protagonists are the ones working in the dark(not directly against their fellow men, but things get complicated), telling lies, betraying allies, running from justice, cosmic or otherwise, and causing even more damage as they do so.And most of them are, or were, actually good people who took one wrong turn or dared to disagree with an unforgiving world, and had to sacrifice some of their morality to escape a punishment that was, at first, unjust.
  24. Why do the aliens have to walk across the seabed?
