So Bob thought, quite hard actually, and decided upon the name BARTHOLOMEW, particularly for the alliteration.

Butt couldn't read because his school had burned down in a mysterious accident during his first day of kindergarten.

This accident may or may not have involved methane.

You see Butt had always had an interest in the explosive reactions of methane and... various other things we don’t have a forum large enough to post in. But Butt particularly enjoyed the reaction that the lightning rods had to flatulence.

This was particularly why Butt enjoyed Roshar, with the lower gravity and his methane being lighter than air at 0.716 g/L, he found he could manipulate himself to soar and fly across the sky.

Spotted from the crem below, he was often confused with a flatulent windrunner, how true to the name he was. Sometimes wind spren would ride the gas and wind with him. 

He once even had a confrontation with a skyeel.

Pineapple wanted to be Butt’s friend, so he scooted over and said, “Hi.”
