Oh wow, those are nice.  You mentioned Shadows of Self hadn't been published in Poland yet?

That's right.

Three days ago we had a renewal of Alloy Of Law as part of big series of Cosmere books run. AoL was published few years ago, but since The Way of Kings we have sort of Sanderson boom and starting with the first book of Mistborn in the June we get a book every two months (more or less): June,WoA in August, HoA in October, AoL three days ago, Shadows are scheduled for 2th of March, Bands for 27th of April; probably: Elantris in July, Emperor's Soul in September... and once the plan was for Oathbringer in December or something around that, but I personally think they're gonna fill the space with Warbreaker.

Every book but SoS, BoM and Oatbringer (obviously) was published already, but since then the rest was unobtainable. Thanks to the rerun the fanbase is growing and thanks to the 17thShard I happen to be "the guy who knows (almost) everything" :P. In fact, I am part of the staff of the Polish fanbase site. Hence my topic where I asked for help with some quotes, we contacted the publisher to get them straight (the Diagram code was incorrect in many places and they mistranslated Hoid's "perfect pitch" and translating convention is weird about "Investiture". They call it "Infusing". I fear it's too late to change it to "Investiture").

By the way, could somebody point me to some Three Realms and Realmatic Theory information source? Coppermind is rather tight-lipped on the subject. I am writing an infodump article :)

P.S. I got covers for SoS and Bom, anybody interested?

Yes I am very interested. In Australia all the covers are very bland compared to these.  :(

I like those covers, actually  (Speaking as an American with the generic action scenes gracing his Mistborn covers).  Minimalist and evocative, like those "adult covers" one puts on Harry Potter so one doesn't get embarrassed reading them on public transit, especially that Final Empire one.  Although I will admit they could have displayed a bit more imagination than "Let's zoom in on Vin's face one notch every installment!"  (I like the ones the UK covers they cooked up for Wax and Wayne for that reason: AoL and SoS have this keyhole motif going on, which I really like)

You're a Sanderfan when you think of starting your personal list of questions to ask in case Brandon comes to your contry at some point in time...

When you are praying to The Almighty, Nalan'elin and the God Beyond to right the injustice that in Europe BoM is released not only with a higher price (for an ebook, seriously?) but also two storming* days later!!

[Also, you know you have a weak form of OCD when you dislike the fact, that on your e-book reader the British book cover won't fit the American ones]

When you realize in classical lit class that Wax and Wayne are a lot like Hector and Paris in the Iliad (except people actually like Wayne =P).

I recently realized why Alloy Of Law felt so familiar.
Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law, of course. Think about it.

When the local bookstore doesn't have copies of Bands of Mourning on release day, so you take a six-hour round trip to get a copy (and still finish the book that night). Totally worth it.

Today I discussed my PhD thesis, and got formally appointed. That has been the only thing that has kep me from getting BoM immediately two days ago. Now I just came back from the ceremony. The first thing I did was sending a mail to a dear friend I haven't seen in a while, but now I will immediately buy it and the secret story too. My plan was to start reading immediately, but I got sick and so now I will sleep. Now, if I had any sense, I would delay getting the books until after I finished with moving away from the country and back to my old one, but there's no way I'm not going to spend reading any free moment I have left. Not buying BoM three days ago and reading it at the expence of my performance today already took some willpower.

When you read a sign and think it says "Fresh Slontzes" when actually it says "Fresh Smoothies."

When the thing you consider most important on your calendar for February is the release of Calamity.

I always imagined Wax with the look of RDJ in this movie, it fits oh so well :)

When you go into a bookstore:

"Hi, do you have the new Sanderson book in?"

"The one that's coming out in two weeks?"

"No, the one that was released today."
