natc Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 "God bless America!" - Loki. In terms of MCU, if one cuts off the Vision's arm can it be pushed? As a Sanderfan, I want an allomantic power for vibranium 2
WayneSpren he/him Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 "God bless America!" - Loki. In terms of MCU, if one cuts off the Vision's arm can it be pushed? As a Sanderfan, I want an allomantic power for vibranium Burning it should give you incredible durability. You wouldn't be able to move, but you would be almost invincible.
Baine he/him Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 The Vision is a mix of metal and living tissue, IIRC, so pushing on the vision should be pretty hard.
Elbereth she/her Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 "God bless America!" - Loki. In terms of MCU, if one cuts off the Vision's arm can it be pushed? As a Sanderfan, I want an allomantic power for vibranium I don't know if vibranium's currently on the list, but we're trying to create and alternate Allomancy/Feruchemy for mythical metals over here.
Eagle of the Forest Path he/him Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) I disagree. Cap's shield is obviously very heavily Invested with FREEDOM! Wrong! Vibranium is obviously the god metal of the shard Freedom, currently held by someone named Vibran. Edit: Come to think of it, that doesn't mean it can't be invested as well. Kobold King he/him Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Ah, but Daleks (as of the Ninth Doctor's tenure at least) are fleshy bits encased in metallic pepperpots. It wouldn't be any more difficult than an armored human. Precisely. Daleks being AIs is a common misconception. However, what if Daleks consider their casings to be parts of their body on a deep Spiritual and Cognitive level? They're born in them, bred for them, living in them from one point in their existence until the bitter end. If a Dalek's spiritweb is closely enough tied to its casing, does that make the casing Invested? 4
Stormgate he/him Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Daleks are made of Dalekanium. Anyway, you know you're a Sanderfan when you start listening to Writing Excuses simply because Sanderson is speaking. I actually got a lot more ideas for books when I did this! 2

Allomancy she/her Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) When you try to find out which allomantic metals are real and which ones aren't. When someone calls you short and you say, "I am offend. Boots!", and you point to their feet. I did this. Left the person completely confused, since they weren't wearing boots. And they hadn't read the books. (not lying, this really happened) Edited November 27, 2015 by Allomancy 5
Ookla the Absent Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I get really excited when I change levels on the Shard. High Prelan! 2

Baine he/him Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Am I the only one who sees giant Voidbringer faces in the ash and embers? Or possibly a Voidish Stormfather? 1

I didn't know they can do that.
Moonskin she/her Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Apparently it happens, although it does not seem a very comon phenomenon (if you're interested in the subjet, this link is very interesting : http://news.discovery.com/earth/rocks-fossils/volcanic-lightning-how-does-it-work-130329.htm ) Am I the only one who sees giant Voidbringer faces in the ash and embers? Or possibly a Voidish Stormfather? Voidbringers, voidbringers everywhere! 1

Young Bard he/him Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 When you have to regularly check your outline of your book to purge any signs of already used content by Sanderson from it, because you want your book to be awesome and you automatically put everything Sanderson's written into that category.
