When you try to convince your peers to read the Way of Kings for the sole purpose that their name sounds kind of like Kaladin.

When you go to Florida for spring break, and people say the stupidest things and all you can think is "airsick lowlanders" I'm not saying that everyone there is, but I saw a few (we also have our crazies in Utah, I just paid a bit more attention on vacation)

Hey, a fellow Horneater! Aka Utahn.

The reasons aren't too obvious; I didn't get it. It's not as if the problem involves cookies.

The reason is that it's a bakery in general, so they likely have cookies as well. I've heard tell that the DA is expanding to more than just cookies; for example, pie. Also, doesn't that just sound like something they'd do? Get us expecting cookies (or maybe pie) to be spiked, and then, in a sudden and inexplicable turn of events, use other baked goods. Something unnatural like that just seems natural for them.

I know the reasons...it's math.

How do you like math???

Also, I've always loved Pattern, (er, patterns) and my Dad happens to be a math teacher, so I've had easy access to more and more complex patterns, aka a math, and I grew up surrounded by tales of the beauty of math rather than the horrors.

I didn't see her. I must have went on a different day as her, cause I'm sure I would have noticed.

Bummer! I admit I wasn't 100% sure the first time I saw her, because the dress didn't have a high collar and the safehand sleeve was more of a stole, but when I spotted the glyph embroidered on it I stopped and asked "Are you from Roshar?" She got so excited because nobody else had recognized her.

(TBF, I was at Emerald City Comic Con this year and the same thing happened with a woman cosplaying Syl, even though it was a much larger con and Brandon was there as a guest, both of which ought to increase the chance of people recognizing a Cosmere cosplay.)

When your dad is talking about white sand and you say "Where's Kenton?" And he gives you a baffled look, then you mutter. "It's Sanderson."

My parents lecture me about reading a wider variety of books. AKA take a break from the author who we drove twelve hours for you to meet! (Best day ever. Can't wait to go to another signing. I mean, I still need to get Warbreaker, and White Sand, and all the other books! Not to mention the four I didn't get signed)! (I... Uh... May or may not have grabbed a tiny hardcover Edgedancer at B&N the day after I went to the signing... It was so beautiful! But my mom didn't see me grab it and buy it. If she had, I wouldn't have been able to. So shhhhh!!! :D)

When you read Keeper of the Lost Cities, (word of advice, do not read them. I swear, so cliché and predictable.) and main character develops a new ability every book, when she was already super powerful in the first book, and you can't help but think, "why am I even friends with [insert friend's name here who suggested these books]. I mean, she's waisting her time on this, while I gave her Mistborn for Christmas!"

I found out today that she didn't read past the first page.

When you are going on the shard one period, and it's blocked the next. I can still get on if it has a comment specifier at the end though!

What's a comment specifier?

When your friends don't even ask you if something is Sanderson anymore - they just assume it is.

When it links to a specific comment like notifications.

Those of us who are sanderfans. (at my school, I was the original and started a plague of at least 10 other people, which is impressive considering I only am friends with one of them, they just seemed to be interested in what I was reading and tried it for themselves. )

I'm a hybrid.

Born in the Horneater Peaks, but raised in the LWTMA (Lands With Too Much Air)

Technically, they can just be called the Lowlands.

When you dream of reading one of @Firerust's very well written RP's. (Of course, this was one he hasn't written yet, so if he does write it I can see the future. Fingers crossed)
