I was reading the story of the girl who looked up when shallan told it in part one, and i thought of why the girl had white hair. And then lightning struck my brain. This story is set in Elantris, the girl is an elantrian, and the wall is the wall of elantris. While it probably isnt the case, i still thought it was pretty cool. Did any of you guys think of that?

When you are with a friend and they are lifting up a speaker and the only thing that goes through your head is the end of the White Sands Volume II shardcast Kenton! Kenton! -
Preservation, Ruin, Honor, Cultivation, Odium, Autonomy, Ambition, Devotion, Dominion, and Endowment. Slight spoiler for Mistborn Look for a character named Hoid, he is normally a beggar, storyteller, or he normally insults people all the time. That is how you can tell a book is Cosmere. You can also look for a specific mention of the Cosmere. Adonalsium is another way to tell, as well as mentions of Investiture. Rithmatist and Reckoners are not Cosmere.

I have been looking for the true stickligion. May I join the stick brotherhood?

I used that one for mine. Something from Wit would be hilarious, like "I like visiting people in prison. I can say whatever I want to them, and they can’t do anything about it." Another good (Albeit long) one that could work is "Yes, yes. Aim for the sun. That way if you miss, at least your arrow will fall far away, and the person it kills will likely be someone you don't know."

Did you dream you were a windrunner? I had a dream like that a while ago. It was awesome, and i was really depressed when it ended. -
Drat I was fond of that theory. Oh well Thank you both

I was recently reading Shadows for Silence when I had a conundrum. They say that it is silver that is what is used to attack shades and protect the waystops. While scrounging through Arcanum, i found this quote We know that investiture can be messed up with aluminum, seeing as how aluminum is basically the null of the Cosmere, preventing invested objects or investiture in general from being used/ detected. So here is the theory: Silver on Threnody is actually just aluminum. This is due to the fact that aluminum can screw with investiture and aluminum can protect against certain forms of investiture a la Lashings and Emotional/Steel/Iron Allomancy. We also know that this wouldnt be the first time aluminum has been given a different name, seeing as how Ralkalest is actually just aluminum in The Emperors Soul. What do you guys think? I'd love some feedback.

Gancho! Those are amazing!

Has the number 8 held any significant meaning in the cosmere yet? I'm researching something related to this number.

Wait, was there something mentioned about the Dawnshards being in Aimia?
-
Its not bond that is used though, its bind. I think it would work like the bindspren or how Dalinar and Kaladin can keep people from moving using their adhesion surge, effectively binding the person in question to whatever surface that they were present on. The Dawnshards could bind mortals or voidish creatures. So I think that it might mean that it could trap them.
-
I just finished it, but couldn't find any more hints I am starting WoR again, though, so we will see if anything is found
-
Yeah, that would be rather letdownish
-
Hmmm... I didn't think about that... But we still don't know for sure?
-
Hail Sharders I was recently rereading Way of Kings when I reached chapter 36 (pg 650) in the bit of text underneath the chapter title it says this: "Taking the Dawnshard, known to bind any creature voidish or mortal, he crawled up the steps crafted for Heralds, ten strides apiece, toward the grand temple above." Noting that it says the Dawnshard could bind any creature voidish or mortal, could we not say that it could imprison an Unmade? In Oathbringer, Dalinar takes the ruby known as Honor's Drop and uses it to imprison the Thrill. Could it be possible that the Dawnshards were perfectly it gems? Meant to bond foes of either side? This is just a theory, and I'm unsure if this is what Brandon entails, but I find it rather interesting.

Hey all, I had a question about the timing during these three books in the title of this topic. So, we know Galladon and Demoux are in Stormlight nicknamed Grump and Thinker respectively. Thus it leads me to think that these three book series are taking place about a few years or so apart. That is all I could find out. What do you guys think?
