I am attempting to do just that. If you would like to help, say, "My life to yours, my Breath become yours."

Um...my Mom told me to, um...to make life good decisions...er life decisions good...well, um, to do stuff good, so...*breaks under the pressure and runs away sobbing*

When you are systematically adding any Sanderson words to your auto correct dictionary so you can stop staring at that horrible red line.

When you have an absolutely crapy day, and coming on the Shard and listening to the Kaladin soundtrack is what helps you calm down and relax. I absolutely love Tein's theme. It's beautiful.

My brother finished the lyrics I posted in a recent post. Spoiler for length.

Spoiler

Let's get down to business, to defeat the Singers
Did they send me bridgemen, when I asked for soldiers?
You're the saddest bunch I ever met
But you can bet before we're through
Mister, I'll make a bridgeman out of you
Tranquil as a chasm but on fire within
Once you find your center, you are sure to live
You're a spineless, pale, pathetic lot
And you haven't got a clue
Somehow I'll make a bridgeman out of you
I'm never gonna catch my breath
Say goodbye to those who knew me
Boy, was I a fool in school for cutting gym
This guy's got 'em scared to death
Hope he doesn't see my stormlight
Now I really wish that I knew how to run
Be a bridgeman
We must be swift as the coursing river
Be a bridgeman
With all the force of a great high storm
Be a bridgeman
With all the strength of a raging fire
Mysterious as Captain Kaladin
Time is racing toward us till Sadeas betrays
Heed my every order and you might survive
You're unsuited for the rage of war
So you won't survive the run
How can I make bridgeman out of you
Be a bridgeman
We must be swift as the coursing river
Be a bridgeman
With all the force of a great high storm
Be a bridgeman
With all the strength of a raging fire
Mysterious as Captain Kaladin
Be a surgebinder
We must be swift as the coursing river
Be a surgebinder
With all the force of a great high storm
Be a surgebinder
With all the strength of a raging fire
Mysterious as Captain Kaladin

There is one part we need help with and it is this.

Quote

You're unsuited for the rage of war
So pack up, go home, you're through

You're unsuited for the rage of war, So you won't survive the run

If your unsuited for the rage of war, you'll find the honor chasm

You're unsuited for the rage of war, So we'll bring you to bridge four

Those are just some ideas

I lean toward the last one and the first equally. So we'll bring you to bridge four. So you won't survive the run.

My favorite Idea for the lyric would be the one about the Honor chasm, but it doesn't have as nice of a rhyme scheme to it. I couldn't find another way to edit it.

When you get into a huge fight with your step uncle because he thinks that Oathbringer didn't move the plot forward at all. GRAAAA! He doesn't care about worldbuilding, just the characters. Drives me CRAZY! If you don't like worldbuilding you're reading the wrong author! And probably the wrong genre!

When your friend is telling a story and says “Me paré con honor” (I stood with honor) referring to a meeting where he was asked to stand, and your first thought is “Wait, but Honor is dead....”

When for no apparent reason, THIS pops into your mind:

Hello Darkness my old friend...

I've come to steal your lunch again...

Edit: I already posted this. And this edit is way late.

When you are casually cruising the meme thread and accidentally write this because somebody made a Returned joke.

Quote

Vasher’s Ode to Nightblood:

“Oh, Nightblood, you take my breath away,

Oh, Nightblood, let’s destroy evil toda-ay,

Oh, Nightblood, you’re basically my child,

Oh, Nightblood, Sharshara’s mem’ry we defiled.

Oh, Nightblood, monster of my making,

Oh, Nightblood, angel of black steeled Breath taking,

Oh, Nightblood, demon haunting my nightmares,

Oh, Nightblood, I’m the only one who cares.”

I’m pretty sure my addiction has progressed from ‘overwhelming desire’ to ‘physically needs Sanderson to live’.

Now I have a strange desire to write accompaniment and record it as a song.

I think I need help.

Wait, you mean you didn't need him and his work to live before? I've needed him since I found him...:wub:

It’s gone from 24/7/4.3/12/365 to 20/5/10/10/500.

Before, it was just a daily dose of Sanderson. By now I’m practically hooking up books via IV to my arm constantly.

Spoiler

Not really. Just most of the time.

Where...did you get these book IVs?

 that’s a closely guarded secret. Might want to get in touch with your book dealer. (Not librarian. Those are evil.)

Spoiler

Not trying to offend any librarians. I very much appreciate the work you do in converting more people to the book side.

On a different note, when you tell your friend to read tWoK, and when they refuse tell them just to read the prelude, and they don’t have to read anything else.

Suffice it to say that they took the bait, and are thoroughly hooked. :D
