So another way of looking at how this works is that a Returned is dead for all intents and purposes EXCEPT they don't go to the dead doc and they're allowed to keep on communicating with the living. A Returned stops counting towards the number of living members in their faction, for the purposes of win conditions or the lovers rule or anything else. Although of course they may continue to help their faction in less direct ways. I hope this helps. I have clarifications for days. I am clear like clarified butter. 3
