Rayvyn's frown deepened. "Form? You can...change? I was not aware that such a thing was possible."

Keys tumbles eastward onto the road. "Get back here, I..."

What was he yelling at? Keys looks around, with no idea where he is.

"Not intentionally. It's a very long story, but one that I feel I have no choice but to tell."

Obsidian cocked his head, puzzled.

Fadran frowned, glancing out into the lobby. Had he heard something?

"No killing anything while I'm gone," he instructed, and walked out to find the source of the noise.

Rayvyn pouted, then turned back to the young woman. "I suppose we will have to listen to your story then."

Glena sat down, and the room almost warped around her. "I was born at the dawn of time, when my world was just beginning. I awoke formless, shapeless. But then, something happened."

"Sentient beings began to shape the world, and that had an unexpected consequence. In time, they came to wonder what was beyond them. And in time, those beliefs shaped us. "I take offense at that! Dave is much more boring of a conversationalist than I!"

Dave looked curiously at Glenda, his voice becoming more formal. "Hello Higher Being. If I do not know you it is because parts of me are Sealed away. I am Arbiter and pleased to meet someone else on this mortal plane."

Dave quirked his mouth up into a smile. "No harm done. Say, how goes the gods and those beings? Any news?"

"Nothing much, I'm afraid. I wouldn't be your best source, although if you're really interested... Anyway. Should I continue my story?"

Rayvyn leaned forward, excited. “If you are gods, you must know many interesting ways to kill things! May you teach me?”
