There is no Spoon! Also, since he had more of his mind back then, I figured he could create some sort of physical form to interact with people.
-
When you store something in a metal mind, it takes up "space" in the metal mind. So a metal mind can actually become full (but it takes a lot). When you compound, you can burn the bits that you've stored in, until it's gone. So a more full one will burn for longer, thus giving you more power.

No, but transitioning between the Realms seems to take a significant effort. And swearing an Oath is also very obvious, especially for Windrunners. Look at what happened around Lopen when he swore the 2nd Oath. The Stormfather basically had to Accept (or at least acknowledge) each Oath, as well as the spren. I don't see how Teft could have sworn the First Oath without the Stormfather being aware. There's also the fact that the Dysian Aimians have been watching for and observing any budding Knights Radiant. If Teft had started to bond that long ago (we're talking decades before even Jasnah and Shallan), they would likely know. And they don't mention him at all, yet they mention Shallan, who did bond, and then break the bond.

Guys, I think there's a fundamental disagreement of principle terms that won't be reconciled, here. Which is fine. But at this point, we're going around in circles. Maybe time to bow out?
-
He wasn't formed into a Blade. Dalinar was able to sieze a chunk of the SF's power and solidify it enough to act as a key. Yes, the Nahel bond makes the possibility of Blade, but it's extremely hard to do if the spren isn't willing. Also, Dalinar is the first to bond the Stormfather since Honor died. Also, if the Stormfather were the Blade, he would be a deadeye, and he's very much aware and fulfilling his goals the entire time.
-
Sorry, I think Syl and the Stormfather would know.
-
That's how I feel about it too.
-
Unfortunately, Syl made it clear that she was the only one who crossed over, and defied the Stormfather to find someone to bond.

It's implicit in the way compounding works. If you can store something, that thing is yours, no matter if your ability to store/tap it goes away. Add what nicrosil allows you to do into the mix, and you can store it, then tap it at any time, or if you are a compounder, burn it at any time, and get back your power plus a bunch. Even if you can no longer normally tap/store it. Which, if you think about it, is super cool, and possibly OP. Though, actually, there is a WoB. Hah!

If it helps, here is the WoB

Good point. Honestly, I think she had both ears pierced and wears it in whichever one she feels like at the time.
-
I'm just here to chime in with WoBs, don't mind me. So certain metals of the 16 on the Allomancy table. No comment on which specific ones. And the amount of lerasium used is also important. So he doesn't actually say that there were 16, just that it was an excellent guess. Brandon Aes Sedai. Brandon being cagey about whether Hoid burned the bead to become an Allomancy, but confirming that he used Allomancy.

Left ear, because as a right-handed person, it's always been easier to stab a piece of metal into my ear with my right hand and stabilize my ear with my left hand, and the left ear is more convenient for that.

In world or real world? in world, 15-20 years is the current estimate. Real world, no idea. However long it takes him to finish his projects and be ready to write arc 2. Back to the Future Yep, the Aimians seem to be on the side of the Radiants. I understand it feels cliche to you, but it feels fitting to me. I feel like stories should have a satisfying conclusion, without major cliffhangers. Having a cliffhanger at the end of a major arc feels too "TO BE CONTINUED!" to me. Either way, I'm sure Brandon will do it well

Welcome to the Shard! Your best bet would be to post the details in the Stormlight Archive forum, or the Oathbringer forum, if it has Oathbringer spoilers. Don't forget to mark your post with [OB] and make the thread title generic if it has spoilers!

Nah. The Listeners have to be open to the Fused for them to take over. Getting them to see that the Fused aren't actually very good people, and that they'll die if they let them in, would take care of a lot of that. Plus, Nightblood.

I think the first series will end with the Fused taken care of, the KR refounded, and the battle for the physical Roshar wrapped up. Then the second series will be about taking care of Odium once and for all. As I said, I just don't see the first series wrapping up with a defeat and a cliffhanger. That's just my opinion, but I would really hate that.
-
As I said, I read it as the first 5 would be a series, and the second five would be a sequel. Like how each book has it's own arcs, that are wrapped up to a climax and denoument, then the next book continues the overall arc with its own storyline, character and plot. So ending on a down note and a cliffhanger would be really annoying and unlikely, to me.
-
Well Odium could be Splintered and his power would still be around, so that WoB really doesn't tell us much

Theory on the Sovereign's appearance (BoM Spoilers)
RShara replied to Faceless Mist-Wraith's topic in Mistborn
We also see Marsh himself walking around in AoL. And he has to have been around before that, because of the whole Iron Eyes Sliverism religion. And yeah, Marsh and Kelsier have opposite eyes spiked. Their spikes are mirrored, not their features. -
That's certainly possible, but I feel like it'd be a bad way to end a series. The way I've read his comments on the matter, the first 5 are their own series, and the second 5 are a sequel series (I could be wrong, but that's the sense I get from his WoBs). Ending a series with a bad defeat and a cliffhanger would just be really annoying.

Also, please change your topic title to something more generic. People who haven't read Oathbringer don't know that Elhokar had a spren. Here is the spoiler policy:
-
Yeah, please make the title more generic, as anyone browsing the forum front page would see the title and get spoiled even if they were trying not to be.
