  1. He was reporting a sighting of Axies, yeah, but he doesn't say where Axies was seen. Jochi, the correspondent, is in Thaylen City.
  2. Yeah. MB Era 2 is slotted to take place either in the gap between the arcs, or just after them. Umm I'm going to go with a No on that
  3. MB Era 2 takes place after SA 5, though.
  4. I don't remember any weird spren at Urithiru, other than the Midnight Mother, who's fled? Also, it takes time to travel--wasn't he on the Reshi Isles last we saw of him? Urithiru was only found a few months ago.
  5. Yep, that was my thread!
  6. Yeah I forgot about those. Worldbringers and Worldsingers, very likely!
  7. I suspect at least one of those times would have been in his origin story Liar of Partinell. I seem to remember some things reminiscent of religions in the bits I read. Emperor's Soul spoilers Secret History spoilers

    Nice!
  9. We only know that a kandra is on Roshar because Brandon said so outside of the books. In the books, we haven't seen anything that really even hints at the kandra. A fourth Shard would have needed to be foreshadowed, introduced, explained, and a motivation, plot and conclusion given to it. I don't think we've seen any of these things so far, and since SA is two 5-book arcs, doing all of this in book 4 of 5 would, at least to me, feel horribly rushed and possibly deus ex machina. Waiting to figure out the Sibling and/or Urithiru until book 6 would be a very odd delay. Honor, Cultivation, and Odium have been clearly important since book 1, having Shard 4 pop up in Book 4+ doesn't feel like a sound thematic decision to me. Anyway, those are my thoughts. YMMV.
  10. Every action has a reaction, so no, I don't think so. They would need to have enough mass to count as a bigger planet than what they're trying to move, and I don't think that would be achievable.
  11. TBH, a lot of the characters are keeping huge secrets from other characters.
  12. Oh I'm sure there will be plenty of surprises still to come. I just think a 4th Shard would be a bad idea.
  13. I'm just going to reiterate my response for basically introducing any other Shard at this point: Thematically, I think it would be a bad idea, and I don't think Brandon is interested in doing that.
  14. It would still be introducing a 4th Shard into the mix. It would need to be foreshadowed, tied into the narrative, given a name, intent, etc. I don't think it'd be a good narrative choice.
  15. I just keep reading the topic of this thread as "Good Twinborn Cookies". I blame Easter.
  16. I think the introduction of a 4th Shard would be very unlikely and confusing at this stage of the story.
  17. @Mestiv has made some trial improvements to Arcanum. Please tell us what you think!
  18. It kinda sounded like Clue to me, except with a player that decides who dunnit.
  19. Here's a thread about Cusicesh, and some WoBs about him.
  20. It's definitely Tien. He shows Syl a rock that changes color when it gets wet, which is exactly like one of the rocks Tien gave Kaladin years ago.
  21. I like using this timeline, myself: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JJtJhHwpKdow01n2-bsT3scVvqJd6lZh4uvpNwcslv8/edit#gid=0
  22. An Allomancer on Roshar could probably hack the system to power it with Stormlight, if they had the knowledge. But Allomancy works with any kind of metal, any where, so it wouldn't be strictly necessary to use stormlight. MountainKing is correct, most Shardic power resides in the Spiritual Realm, where location isn't a factor, so assuming the person had a source of their investiture (Breath, metal, etc) they would be able to use their form of investiture.
  23. Chapter 46 when Lyn is trying to figure out how to breathe in stormlight: Should be accidentally.
