    It's not fair to want to end someone else's happiness just because they found something you didn't. Everyone is seeking happiness, and if everyone also tried to keep everyone else from receiving happiness, this would be a very depressing world. It's like catching crabs. Once you've caught two, they won't be able to get out of the bucket because they'll never let the other one get out first, they'll always tear each other down, so neither of them get freedom. No one wants to live like that.

    That may cause stress in someone's life. Like, personally, I think uninhabited, far away planets are really cool and I would be quite upset if one was destroyed, even if it never affected me. And, honestly, how would you know it's uninhabited? Signs of life on other planets might be very different from signs of life on ours, so it's possible that we would be totally unable to ever really know if a place is inhabited or not.

    All my stuff from college is now moved to my parents' house but I am far from moved in and looking at the absolute disaster that is all my stuff in a pile in my room makes me feel sick and overwhelmed.

    Wish me luck dealing with this.

      hahaha sameee i got back last month

      took me a couple of days, but it felt so good to be done with it all

      now my room is just regular uber-messy and not "just moved" uber-messy

      I've put away my dishes and cleaning supplies that I won't need again till fall and I've put the bedding I want on my bed and I've shoved all my clothes away (organizing those nicely is a job for another day)

      So all I need to do is put the rest of the bedding in a bag and get it out of the way, go through my shoes and find a spot to keep them (pretty sure my mom stole one of my shoe bins), and put away the randomest crap I own.

      And then the clothes and junk organization can come and that'll be....difficult.
