Punzie dress update!!!!

The skirt now just needs a hem, lace trim, and e m b e l l i s h m e n t s.
Gonna save the embellishments for...basically the last thing I do on the dress at all, since it's the thing that'll be easiest to do up at college if I don't totally finish in time. My sewing machine is technically my mom's sewing machine, so I can't really take it with me, unfortunately. Which means I need to get allllll the sewing done before August 26th, ideally. The dress was the easiest, technical-wise, but I thiiink it was also the most tedious thing? Hopefully? Hopefully the top will be faster. The sleeves scare me, because the skirt and shirt stuff are all things I've pretty much done before, whereas the sleeves...not so much.

Definitely think some sort of guidelines/vibes would be helpful for thinking of stuff, otherwise you might just end up not liking anyone's ideas and getting more frustrated.

I guess I'll still say something good...I've been having a hard time getting into books lately (which sucks, since reading has been such a huge part of my personality since...forever), but I did just finish my reread of Mistborn Era 1!! And of course it was amazing.

I would tag everyone but it's 2am here currently and I should be asleep, so just know that I am forever grateful to all of you for all you've done for me and the crazy influence you've had on my life. There are a ton of things I wouldn't know, both about myself and about just the world in general, if I'd never found this place, so thanks! And of course, there are a ton of friends that I wouldn't have if it weren't for the Shard.

I know Hadestown, Something Rotten, Beetlejuice, I've heard of &Juliet, I know Chicago but pretty much just the more popular songs, I know Wicked, Spring Awakening (my college actually did that one last year...I didn't audition cuz I wasn't comfortable performing all the content in there but it's a great show), Next to Normal, Heathers, Tick Tick Boom!, I now know Spies Are Forever (I listened to it. Not my favorite, but pretty good), I started listening to Bad Cinderella, I don't know Wonderland but just looking at the song titles it looks kinda similar to Alice By Heart, I know Bonnie and Clyde, I know Rent, I know Falsettos, I know Gentleman's Guide, I know Funny Girl, I don't know I Could Use A Drink, I know Mean Girls, I know at least one song from The Prom and need to listen to the rest, I know The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical a little bit, I do know Great Comet a bit but I didn't recognize it at first under that name I just always heard it as Great Comet, I know Urinetown, and I don't know Head Over Heels. ...you like the angsty/dark ones, huh? If you haven't listened to Bare: A Pop Opera, I definitely think you'd love that one. Edit: how on earth do I not have Beetlejuice, Heathers, Mean Girls, Urinetown, Wicked, or Hadestown on there already wth
