I like TUA’s idea since it does allow people to play more, but two at once accomplishes basically the same thing so either is fine. Though I, for one, do not want two tributes

I pictured it as a physical seal, a stylized circle that signifies the Lord Ruler’s approval with the bearer. But it was pretty clear that no one else pictured it that way

I’ll play, provided the game runs on Saturday the 5th at 1pm. If Sunday is the preferred option then that’s fine and you can drop me out but I’d definitely be a bit sad to miss the inaugural BT game I’ll bring out Philico again. It’s been awhile and he’d like some more items. As for suggestions, I think a lot of the honorblades from Ash’s LG are still floating around somewhere. I don’t remember what they all specifically did (or who ended up with each one) but I bet a lot of them had the generic protect/RB etc abilities.

Their vote and return is sudden, and they seem to have no problem with the exe and don’t question it in any way. I think that an Archer vote comes from either alignment at this point, regardless of Archer’s alignment, but I think that a villager returning from inactivity would at least ask why someone is being piled on in some way. A secondary is when Karn basically restated what was already said, which I saw as someone trying to appear helpful. Note that I’m likely going to end up on Archer by EoD.

So just Calamity won, and not the village? I can live with that I had fun in the dead doc, at least! I think this was the first time I’ve been D1d proper and I do think I kind of deserved it which is fine. No flips as a starting point is definitely hard but I am glad Stick was found out eventually Congrats @Devotary of Spontaneity! It was especially fun watching you play, in part because I never fully understood your wincon or power set xD Thanks to @|TJ| for running this as well! Blackouts are always fun and I’m a bit sad I didn’t get to experience more of it (or use my role) but that’s fine.

What the what At least my village reads were correct ;-; I would say that the knife definitely hit Hael in backlash. I don’t get how there were three other kills, but that can probably be explained by metal shenanigans… Archer is the way to go here but I’m voting Biplet for the sake of having more than one train

Ah, right. Metallurgist I think is more likely anyway.

I see you already decided to read it but seconding Arc of a Scythe. I don't think Wheel of Time is all that dark, not compared to other books. Robert Jordan is very good at glossing over violence and imo it's Sanderson level. But also recommended! It'll keep you busy for awhile

No, not suspicious of Tani. I think her beardnut interaction with Bort is v/e. Ah, that is a problem and also understandable. Hope you feel better soon!

I'm giving village points to TJ for trying to figure out the item situation, and for pointing out the extra vial added. I think that the most likely option is that a second Metallurgist used their action- I'd be surprised if there was only one in the game, and the stockpile was looking low. It's also possible that someone else started with an AF (clearly people do- Bort did) and just didn't use it before because the stockpile was full and Archer publicly had it covered. This was my biggest issue as well- if Bort dropped all the items that appeared, that would require the elims to have started with at least a Pewter and then passed it to Bort- signifying that Bort was the elim who was under the most fire. Considering he didn't really have a lot against him until basically the reveal (there was the RB but there was also a lot of uncertainty around that), I find that unlikely. It would suggest an amazingly low-profile elim team that would be limited to only players who were under less suspicion than Bort, and that's just the Pewter- there's no reason to pass Bort the other items either. An unaccounted-for Metallurgist/AF makes more sense now that we know there was 5 items added and not 4. Some reads thoughts, but I haven't had the chance to reread yet: As I already mentioned TJ looks better to me- iirc he voted Bort pre-reveal (though as I'm typing this out I'm questioning if this is true xD) but either way he has shown interest in cracking the item drop weirdness and an elim has little reason to point out the extra item that would make the Bort Dropped Everything theory unlikely. Still don't like Bip- her Tani fixation was weird to me since she dropped it once it got a lot of attention (from me, at least) and one of her points about Tani was that Tani posted early on and then dropped into inactivity sharply. This of course can be explained by Sunday, but what I find suspicious is that Bip has since done the exact same thing. As has been stated many times, Archer doesn't look good. His early Bort vote/retraction is textbook distancing, and he turned it into a defense that was crumbled under the reveal. He also has stayed inconsistent with his reads (voting Bip while village reading her, etc) and apparently has been misleading with the item numbers he added. On JNV, I don't think Kas' point is enough to override my feelings that their vote on Bort was villagey. I read them light village as of now, both for their Bort vote and because of previous feelings. Stick/Drake/Sequence I'm still reading village, and Illwei to a lesser extent. I'm hoping that I can find some elim reads when I relook at the earlier turns but solving the game by finding all the villagers works too

Are we certain no one used an AF, or that a Metalurgist didn’t use their action? That’s a lot of items. Anyway, good job guys. Obviously this reflects poorly on Archer and well on the Bort voters pre-reveal but I don’t want tomorrow to be a pile on Archer. I think we should definitely have multiple trains going and I want to do a reread of the Bort interactions and thoughts on him before the reveal.

Mmm yeah didn't think about the Gold, never mind :P. Bendalloy wouldn't be the worst thing because any scan is a good scan but yeah let's not have the Investigator get golded.

This first paragraph in retrospect is kinda funny, didn't get a chance to reply to it last night but I'm kind of glad that I didn't because now there's a scan claim so I don't need to :D. Speaks for itself. As Kas said, JNV's vote was thought out and Drake clearly has reasons. Archer tried Pocket. Pocket failed. Yes I still like Biplet as a later option, maybe, but now? I think not... Tagging the new player smh what kind of a play is that xD And my reads derailed? They're basically exactly the same. Except for you're in the e list instead of the null list :P. And I think I moved around my village tiers a bit but like none of my elim reads have changed. Guess I'll just stay where I am, and keep that coin for later use :P. This is a bit of an outdated read but tbf TJ hadn't posted in awhile. I don't really like his vote history or his reasons for said votes, they kind of crumbled upon further inspection a lot of the time. That being said I really like his pre-reveal progression on Bort/Archer so I'd be willing to switch him with Bort in my reads list :P. I think this is a good idea

No, not how a rational scanner behaves unless they have a death wish When has this ever been done? Maybe I've just been completely oblivious or forgot but I can't recall this ever happening. A scanner would never approach the elims because the elims have teammates who would submit an easy NK the following Night. Is this not a complete 180 from your stance earlier this cycle? I get that your initial vote was based off a small misunderstanding about Hazekillers but it's surprising to me to see you write this when it is nearly the opposite of what you were saying not too long ago. I could see your initial suspicion manifesting, then realizing your mistake and walking back on it, but at that point just sitting on it there. This defense seems out of the blue. Though elim reads defending other sort of elim reads is very helpful for my reads, thank you Idk what the vote count is but I'll flip a coin, heads=Archer tails=Bort Bort it is. I think that brings it closer to a tie which could be... enlightening.

Has the change where passes aren't necessary been implemented yet?
