After comtemplation I also see where Teravangion could be a good Bondsmith , his whole idea was to unify Roshar under his rule and save everyone . Odium kind of put a big dent in it by limiting him to Khabranth . But he has the mindset of a Bondsmith , even though he has some really ruthless ways of going about it

All I’m saying is there is not a better prospect for a cryptic than Taravangion. He has lies a plenty , he knows deep truths that no one else on Roshar knows, and between the death rattles and The Diagram he has puzzles that are like a delicacy for Cryptics. Show me one person who can satisfy a cryptics needs like he can ?? I’ll wait!!!

Going on the elie estele theme of Spren, Stone and wind dont u think all 3 Bondsmith will have different abilities Dalinar abilities would be different than the others . Dalinar can open Honors perpindicularity as he is bonded to Stormfather. Whoever bonds the Nightwatcher may be able to grant boon/curses because I think the Nightwatcher is Spren. Or at the very least be able to Cultivate more spren. This may manifest as ability to bind special spren into special fabrials . Like the one Nale use to resurrect Szeth. that leaves the Sibling as stone so if Rlain bonds the sibling I think his special abilities will deal with activating Urithiru what do u guys think ? Will they all have the same abilities or different ones unique to their specific mega spren

Lol that would be funny as rust . Every time he opens his mouth a buzzing goes off mid sentence . I would die laughing . However no one can hear the spren but Teravangion unless the spren wants others to hear him . Could u imagine when Szeth confronted Teravangion about Kaladin “ I fought a windrunner. I am not truth less.” “ it just occurred to me “buzzzzzz” one of the other seven honorblades are “buzzzzzzzz” missing “ “ Teravangion ponders “ what in the storms is that incessant buzzing “ his spren “ A lieeeeeeeeeeeeeee” Teravangion “ will you shut the flaming up “ can’t u see I’m trying to lie !

So we have no idea if all three Bondsmith will ever bond the mega spren: who would you most like to see rise up as the next two Bondsmith : me personally I would like to see Navani and Rock . Navani because she is so into Fabrials . And Rock because he is non violent and this would be a good use of his abilities :

I always imagined Dalinar with a goatee , no matter how many times he is described as clean shaven Teravagion I imagined Like Bi -Ming , the white haired old man from martial arts movies that fights the guy with Crane style Wit/ Hoid comes up as spike from Buffy the Vampire slayer Adolin I picture as Ryan gosling and despite Kaladin being Alethi and suppose to look Arabic / asian I keep seeing a young Mel Gibson with long hair ,kind of how he looked in lethal weapon when I read the books that’s the image that pops up in my head and my favorite charactee Szeth , while he. Is supposed to be white . With his eyes I keep seeing an anime character from one punch! How a Caucasian person is supposed to have epicanthic eyefolds I just don’t get!

While reading another thread something dawned on me . People were speaking on how shallan saw cryptics before she bonded them . That is a big error . For one we know that Shallan has been bonded to pattern for years . Yet when she took a mental picture of Teravangion she saw two cryptics standing behind him . Pattern has been her spren since she was a child . She should know him . Were the Cryptics their evaluating Teravangion or perhaps adfrotagia? They are not there for Shallan . I can’t believe this question has never been. Asked before ?

[OB] What's up with those Honorspren?
SzethIsBadAsHell replied to Lightspine's topic in Stormlight Archive
I think that each honorspren that came was Called to a specific bridgeman, Syl heard Kaladin desire and come to him . Yes Kaladin saw her but she chose to reveal herself . I think the honorspren came because of Syl . She was not suppose to leave and she did anyway and bonded Kaladin . So they felt if the disobedient daughter was allowed to bond a human and was not punished. They see Syl as a child , so they felt if anyone should be allowed a bond it should be them , slowly they will reveal themselves to the person that drew their attention . Teft and The Lopen already have theirs . I bet everyone in bridge 4 will rise up as a full Radiant each in charge of a bridge crew of squires. I think everyone except Rock and Rlain will Be Windrunners -
That’s how it is referred to but I believe the Stone Spen is the sibling . And the Stone spren name is Aboshi

[OB] The name of the Stone is the answer
SzethIsBadAsHell replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
I really enjoyed your response to my thread . I’m 99% sure Stone Spren is the 3rd mega spren . I really hope Dalinar heals the SP in book 4 so we can see what Urithiru can do . With as much destruction as the two storms do I’m sure the Bondsmith are vital to rebuilding the cities . It’s almost a shame there can only be 3.- 9 replies

[OB] The name of the Stone is the answer
SzethIsBadAsHell replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
Honestly I know Rock is a squire for Kaladin. Since all the orders first ideal is the same, I could see him bonding Aboshi . Since Rock is of the mountains and really respects all the Spren- 9 replies

I have seen many threads on this and I thought I should ad mine to theirs. However , my theory is indirect sources is really coming at it from. Different angle. Who is the 3rd Bondsmith spren? i have just finished words of radiance for the third time. As Brandon changed the ending I wanted to see if there were any other changes . So I either missed all this before, or it wasn’t there. Szeth says Aboshi is the name of the spren of the mountains. He calls Nale by this title as he sees the Herald is akin to a god. The three Mega spren were on Roshar before the shards came. The Stormfather, The nightwatcher , and the sibling. Most of my basis revolves around Szeth, with a few lines of shallan and one of Eshonai. Eshonai during her transformation. And said once you were a friend . This details the time before the shards cane Szeth has been Urithiru twice since being name truthless. He blatantly says the city of Urithiru is the only place where stone is not cursed . This is where I believe the Stone spren set aside an area for humans to walk on . But why would Szeth come to Urithiru? Simple he cane to see if he was really truthless. He wanted to see for hisself if the Knights Radiant had returned. After he fought with Kaladin the first time he went there again. Nope no Radiants Kaladin must be lying . When shallan activated the Oathgate. Szeth was fighting Kaladin . Szeth saw the beam of light and said i have seen this before! They went to city didn’t they! Where could Szeth have seen an Osthgate operate? The only blades that could open an Osthgate are the Radiant blades which no one had, and the honorblades. So someone in Shinovsr used an honorblade to go to Urithiru . My guess a stone shaman went there to converse with Aboshi only to find he is still slumbering . So what cause him ( the sibling ) to withdraw? Shallan says that shattered plains were not always shattered! This much damage to stone cause the Stone spren to slumber. So in my opinion the Stone Spren is the Spren of the planet of Roshar. All the stone of the planet is Holy to the Shin. They will not walk on it as they believe it is a god in the same manner as the Stormfather is a god to humans . As there are many mountains of stone . It is another explanation of why Stormfather said leave them alone, you have hurt them enough. Mining stone , building castles of stone, and shattering the shattered plains. In order to wake the sibling I think the shattered plains needs to be restored . Seems like an impossible job ? The Surges of Adhesion and Tension are made to heal stone . The Stormfather told Dalinar “ what u did in Thaylan is a pittance of what u can really do . No Radiants powers are greater than your own! We all looked for the 3rd Bondsmith spren . We assumed in error that it just hasn’t been introduced yet but that is not Sanderson Style. He foreshadow major plot lines all the time. Since the first chapter of WoK she has spoken about how holy stone was. None of us thought to ask how or why is stone holy. I don’t know who will bond Aboshi , but I really hope it’s Navani . With her the possibilities are endless . Thoughts?

Ashynites abbreviated is Shin . So I don’t think they are the irritali. It is the Shin dont Like leaving there homeland. This makes me think they are a stickler for mixing different cultures. I think the Shin are the last pureblood defendants of the Ashynites. Ulim the yellow voidspren has shynlike eyes. I think Ulim was bonded to one long long ago and adopted the eyes because at the time all humans he saw looked like that . Later migrations came, humans mixed with herdazians and Horneaters who were already here . The iriali was mixed in and u have what is currently Roshar!

I have never considered this before, however I am rereading WoR. A curiosity I discovered is that Szeth had been to Urithiru when he first became truthless. He went there again around the time he first encountered Kaladin . He said it was the only place the stone was not cursed. Could this be a clue that the Stone Spren is the Sibling?

[OB] Who has the most Named character kills
SzethIsBadAsHell replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
That’s a beautiful take on it , well said . It’s so well said I actually hate pointing out this one fact . Shallan father never once hit her. I don’t know if it was Love of her, or fear of pattern but she was never touched . He beat her brothers in her stead . So she is the only person who was. Never scared of her father . And the only one who wanted to stick by him, when all others wanted to abandon him. So his Death is also what started me thinking something is not right with her! Your the only person who saw any merit in my viewpoint . Thanks for fair consideration. I guess we will RAFO if I’m right or wrong ! -
Does anybody know what happens to soulcaster physicals bodies after Prolonged use of a Soulcaster Fabrial. Twice I have seen descriptions of weird side effects. The first was during Gavilar funeral. The soulcaster Ardent skin seemed to be turning to stone. His eyes were described as becoming gem-like. Later on a ship that was headed to Aimia. The soulcaster on there skin was turning into gas I think . The user said she didn’t expect to live much longer. Jasnah using surges to soulcast doesn’t seem to have these side effects. What causes this? And why is it fatal?

nale OB The man can see into your soul
SzethIsBadAsHell replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
Well I already said I don’t think Szeth can take Nale by himself even with Nightblood. To be honest I didn’t consider all that . I just feel the only safe time to draw Nightblood is if Dalinar is around and is creating unlimited stormlight. Interesting we haven’t seen Szeth summon his spren shardblade. If I was him I would use that blade primarily . -
[OB] The Unmade. Gotta catch 'em all!
SzethIsBadAsHell replied to Bigmikey357's topic in Stormlight Archive
That makes perfect sense to me. Unfortunately it makes it almost impossible to trap him using the Bondsmith unique ability! The only way I could see it happening is if the Bondsmith swallowed a gem and invited him in then used his/or her unique ability to place it in a perfect gemstone . If Yelig-nar is in another host the strong investiture would probably resist other investiture if Cosmere Standard’s are in effect . -

SzethIsBadAsHell replied to SzethIsBadAsHell's topic in Stormlight Archive
Nightblood sheeth is made of metal , the weirder can run u through while it’s still sheethed . If the weilder has enough investiture you can draw Nightblood and it will obliterate anything it hits including a thunderclast. It’s sheets is made of aluminum so it can block shardblades. So if you think that’s useless then I don’t know what is useful .
