We have seen them in the story . I listened to the books on audio so I caught references pretty easily : Demed and Venli are in malen and femalen form. And sometimes even refer to each other as such. warform is a malen femalen form. They grow carapace and armor. Nimbleform is also malen femalen. When Venli first changed to Envoyform she thought it’s was nimbleform because both we so similar . I do see the problem when I say they must. Be in a form a power to embrace stormlight or form a nahel bond. Perhaps there are forms of power like dullform that require a spren that’s not of the void. Anger spren was used to change into storm form , so perhaps glory spren or happy spren ? I think the singers have forgotten this form . And it can be a key in winning them over fro. Odium. Lastly all void spren are lesser spren a higher spren like Syl or Timbre should easily suppress them

With such a Powerful shard (Odium), his eternal agents (The Fused), it easy for us not to see a sleeping Giant : the ghostbloods. They seem all knowing , way too informed , a pragmatic to the point it’s scary! Now they want Shallan to convince Ska-Amat to come to their side? This is the. Unmade that was reputed the most feared by the Radiants . What the heck do the Ghostbloods want with SJ ? Whats even scarier how do they even know that Shallan made contact with her? Nobody was on that platform But Azure, Shallan, Adolin, Kaladin , and maybe some members of bridge 4 and maybe few freed house guards . Who could of got word back to them ? Yo shallan is talking to an unmade named Sja-anat. We should look into that . At first I thought this smells just like the set on Scadrial ! I started wondering if the Ghostbloods are being ran by Autonomy . Unless the ghostbloods have a shard behind them what do they have to offer Sja-Anat. If Odium takes back his power she is destroyed. Unless she find another shard to fuel her life essence. Anyways I looked up WoB and only found one that. Says they have communicated with the Ghostbloods. So perhaps that’s not it. Then I thought about Kelsier ! He might know a way to keep Ska-Anat. Tethered . So I searched him on WoB and ran into a wall Of Rafo . So without doing a bunch of speculating . Let’s just ask Two questions . What do the Ghostbloods want with Sj ? And are the Ghostbloods setting themselves up to Rule. Roshar once the battle of shards is over? Thoughts?

Your probably right ! I think Odium is way to experienced a shard and powerful for Dalinar to take on solo. I would feel better if he had Cultivation’s power to back him up . I guess the same could happen if Dalinar and Cultivation joined forces. To fight him .

On another thread today I asked myself why is Odium so determined to see the humans on Roshar destroyed. I mean in the past Odium splintered the shard and moved on! Someone suggested he is trapped in this System and can’t leave until Honor’s representative agrees to free him. This raises a question as to what would happen if Odium is freed. As I didn’t want to change the topic of that thread , I started this thread. So what would happen if freed? Would Odium be so mad because of his imprisonment he would destroy Roshar? Or, would he stay long enough to pop cultivation’s shard and then leave?im really thinking the latter! So what happens when Odium leaves? Will the Fused be destroyed by default? We know Odium power is what tether’s the Fused cognitive shadows. With Odium gone willl those tetheres remain or will they dissolve? With the Fused gone won’t there be a better chance at peace. I Say Dalinar should let him go . Let him become Another Shards problem. You never know Harmony although not experienced might just splinter old Rayse and solve everyone’s problem ! Thoughts ....? !

I had a theory that ran parallel to this one , so I feel you. I believe that since Honor was dead there was no one to make decisions that Honor alone could make. For example “ Stormfather told Dalinar he was bonded to humans before and they could not open Perpindicularities. Well Honor was alive then. The Spren outside Honor perpinndicularity said that they could not let Kaladin and Syl pass. I think Dalinar has partially ascended! He can make decisions that only Honor could do. Open Honor’s perpindicularity, free Odium, agree to a contest of champions and set the stakes. Odium when speaking to Teravangion said “ Dalinar should not have been able to Ascend. Regardless if I’m right or you are right this means one thing. Odium does not want Dalinar dead! He wants to control him so he can be set free! I’m aware he told Amaram to kill him , but I think that was more shock at Dalinar Resisting him when he was so Confident he had turned Dalinar. He had been grooming Dalinar for a long time.

That’s a good point. Honestly I thought since the Singers had forgotten so many forms I assumed they had forms of power that were not Passion based, and did not come from Odium. It’s such a good point I’m give you an upvote (people are stingy upvotes on this sight) . It is easy to overlook that issue. I think you just figured out why the Singers turned to Odium in the first place. If all they had were the common forms before then; and Odium offered them to be so much more, why not? Question I have is why is Odium so invested in destroying the humans on Roshar. In the past he would go to a planet , destroy the shard, and move on. Why is he so actively involving himself. Humans on Sel wasn’t threatened by Odium. He splintered Devotion and Domination I believe their. He splintered Ambition; were the humans of that planet ravaged like on Roshar?

If all forms had reproductive parts then there would be no difference in Malen and males. Mateform is not the only form that is male. Their are others:dullform and Slaveform are the only ones I have found. The Parsh are evidence of this. Perhaps in Workform they could be male and female. But all Regals and Forms of Power are Malen and Femalen. Thus if a Femalen has breast they are extremly small and no vagina. A Malen has no penis and probably a bigger chest , more pronounced masculine features. In WoK we see a Malen in warform on the battlefield with no penis just carapace armor down in that area I disagree here. When someone shows me in book a Singer that is not in a form of power using stormlight I will believe this. I will even accept a WoB. If I ever get a chance to ask Brandon for a WoB quote this would be it. This makes perfect sense to me. If Listeners could of used stormlight they wouldn’t need forms of power. By now they would of attracted a Spren. Are you telling me that Eshonai and Venli are the only Listeners worthy of a Nahel bond? Of course not , as we see in the books most of the Singers are nice ,honorable , people. All of them are broken. Some of them would of attracted spren by now. This has not happened for one simple reason. In order to be able to bond with a spren , or use stormlight they need to at least be in a form of power. As soon as Eshonai turned to Storm form she attracted Timbre. Timbre told Venli he chose her because he doesn’t trust humans, many of them killed other lightspren. She can’t be the only spren who thinks this way. Eshonai and Venli were the first to adopt a form of power in millennia . Thus they were first capable of using stormlight. Or a nahel bond. I know I won’t convince you of this. But when it comes out later I’m right, just remember old SzethIsBadAsHell told u so.

I have always wondered why the listeners were not effected by the Binding of Slaveform? This seems a solid reason why ? I previously assumed it was due to the fact the Singers were all in one area and that everyone inside that area was effected. I firgured the Listeners were far away in the Unbroken Hills. I also think your theory needs to consider the fact this was an instantaneous event . When the ancient bondsmith imprisoned BAM the transformation went out planet wide. As the Parsh had children they were locked into that form as a result of that. As the listeners had children they didn’t have to stay in dullform. This was a conscious choice for 2 reasons. They were scared of opening themselves up to forms of power as this would allow the Fused to enter their bodies during the next desolation. And 2, I would dullform cause them to forget many forms of power due to not using them. They probably stayed in dullform for centuries. The songs that were created to remember the different forms are a clue to this. As we see later on the listeners with Ulim help were able to become Regals and adopt Stormform. If they could adopt that form of power they could theoretically adopt then all. They had just forgotten to do so. I must say that Cultivation could of helped the Listerners and showed them forms of power like Ulim did. This would of greatly weakened Odium. The Listeners only turned to Odium by accident. Ulim was able to trick them by offering a form of power that he knew they would find intoxicating and feel the need to summon the Everstorm in a last ditch defense to stop the humans. Ask yourself would Venli have turned to Stormform and presented it to the 5 if she had knowledge of other forms of Power.: Like Envoyform, or other defensive forms of power like the form that can lightweave. Eshonai, Venli, and the Five failed.to see the danger of Stormform. So why with all Cultivation foresigh, whyt did she do nothing to help the Singers?

I would like to discuss the Singers . Compare notes and see if we are overlooking anything. To begin with i’d Like to go over the difference between Singers and listeners . The Singers are the original race that became the Parsh when a Bondsmith imprisoned one of the Unmade which trapped them into Slaveform . The listeners were the last company of Singers that turned. Away from the “Old gods” and eventually became the parshendi. I thought that all the listeners were wiped out in the creation of the Everstorm except for Rlain, Venli and demmed. However on my last re-read Venli spoke of 2000 listeners that survived the Everstorm . It is worth noting that the Listeners are considered traitors by the Fused for turning away from them and actively preventing their return by assasinating Gavilar. The Singers and Listeners both have 4 sexes . Malen and Femalen, which are appear like male and female but are asexual and have no reproductive parts. As far as I can tell all forms of power and most forms that the pashendi know are Femaen and malen. The only forms that are male and female that are in use are mateform , dullform , and slaveform. This is how the parsh were able to reproduce. The. Current hierarchy of the singers is as follows . The Singers are on the bottom . They have no forms of power.; Limited to mateform workform, nimbleform, slaveform, dullform , The next in power are the Regals which are Singers and Listeners who have taken a lesser voidspren into their gemhearts, they still possess their own minds . So far we have only seen Regals in Stormform and Envoyform. Lastly we have the Fused , who are Cognitive Shadows that all occupy Forms of Power. And exist by killing the spirit web of a Singer. They see the Singers as cattle and are the true Leaders of the Race. A last note is the Singers who have been awakened by the everstorm. To fill the gaps in there spriteeb they have all been given the consciousness of whatever country they served as parsh. Parsh from Alethi , act Alethi , parsh from Thaylan act Thaylan . now hear are the things we must figure out. Can singers use stormlight ? Can they become squires , can they bond spren. I strongly believe that singers cannot ! That is why Rlain says he has to adopt a form to be able to embrace stormlight . I think only Regals can use stormlight or bond a spren. i have discussed this with Sages before and I strongly feel they are totally misreading what Rlain is saying . Buf here is the more interesting question ? We have seen Venli bond a spren and thus be on her way to becoming a KR ( specifically a Willshaper. Can the Fused bond Higher Voidspren like Ulim? If so can they eventually learn to create living shardblades ? Can they learn to developer shardplate . Syl said the spren saw what honor did with the honorblade and they copied it. Can Ulim and the higher Voidspren learn to copy what Syl and wyndle do? This has never happened before but a lot of things are happening that has never happened before? And our last big question is what would happen if Dalinar and Venli and Kaladin and Rlain convince the Singers to abandon the Fused . Will this deny them bodies to posses or can the Fused force themselves into any Singer unfortunate enough to be caught in the Everstorm? I think the Singer has to open his body up to receive the Fused. What do the sages say? Are there any other forms that are male and female? Scholar form perhaps.?

The Unmade that Amaram ate was supposed to give u access to all 10 surges . You may be on to something . I thought it was odd the unmade gave a person access to 10 surges instead of nine.

So even though the surge’s power source is not stormlight , The purple Voidlight ( to lack a better term powers the surge correct?” So what Surge was Amaram using to turn the Ground to Lava. Also, the surge that the Fuse use to grow carapace weapons, what surge do u suspect that is? Im hoping you are wrong. I like the idea of 9 void surges and they only get one . As opposed to 10 Radiant surges and Rafians get two .

I have actually thought about this a great dreal . Shallan powers work like this . Using illumination she can make visual and auditory illusions. If she merges this with transformation she can make tactile illusions . We saw this in Theylan city . So when the thrill enraged Troops of Amaram hit them , there swords felt like it was hitting flesh . Because the troops were influenced by the thrill they didn’t notice the Blow’s didn’t feel the same as stabbing a real person. An un-enraged person might notice. This required a lot of stormlight. I wondered what would of happened if Shallan wasn’t making thousands of troops and only made one illusion. Could she focus the extra stormlight into an illusion that was solid enough to do damage? Could she make the illusion squirt hot blood when stabbed . I think it’s a strong possibility . As far as making it quake the ground? I don’t think so . Maybe in a small area and not to do very much damage . Keep in mind a regular person making an illusion using only illumination the blade would pass right thru like a ghost . I’ll be interested to see if she can make an illusionary Veil that goes and makes out with Kaladin one day ... lol

If an individual In a small town is trying to teach people bad habits or methods that will bring the whole village down Mercykillers will Cull that person rather than let the one bad Weed strangle the devolopemeht of the town . They are only allowed one squire at a time . Once the squire has bonded a spren , then that squire moves on to hiis own area and the mercykiller may adopt a new squire . With such strong surges as transformation and progression mercykillers are ideal missionary’s . They are all considered quasi-ardents and are strong Vorinist if not fanatical . All villages would do anything to attract a mercy killer to their village to rebuild

@Calderis I respect you greatly , your understanding on most things in the cosmere surpasses my own. But, I never said the Oathpact was broken. I meant the Heralds abandoned there blades because had they not done so there blades would have transported them back to Braise. it’s a theory but it’s the only one that makes sense. I understand Honorblades are not like shardblades; the.chief difference is you have to will them to disappear and they don’t have gemstones. I still think they have to will the bond to be broken, which is what they did in WoK. Since Honorblades are not as efficient I propose it probably takes longer to bond one . If u can bond a shardblade in a week or two then a Honorblade might take as long as a month. Once a bond is established I see no reason a shamanate master can’t loan one to a student . Similar to how shardblades vanish if u drop them but Adolin willed maya to go with the Theylan captain . Or Shallan loaned her shardblade out to someone in OB . I think Adolin is a better example since his blade is dead, and should disappear when he released it. I speculate shamanate master can loan out there bonded blade to allow pupils to train with them. I think Szeth attained the mastership over the wind runner blade so when he was declared truthless they let him take it. Szeth bond was broken when Kaladin killed him Finally we don’t know the blade never made it to the plains. It could of made it their and was swapped by the ghost bloods before it was presented to Dalinar. Iyatil and Amaram and Wit all knew Taln was really a herald way before Dalinar learned the truth.
