See I would say the opposite, I brought that up because it could provide a means for time bubbles not to age you but given that we know they work on certain spiritual principles I think altering your spiritual age could be easily within their abilities. Also because there are other, entirely non-magical ways to dilate time and if time bubbles didn't alter your spiritual age then those shouldn't either, so for instance a spaceship travelling at near lightspeed would ordinarily seem to have much slower time than the universe around it, now if someone were inside of one they might travel for what seems to the outside like 100 years but to them is only 1. Now if the spiritual link to your age was based solely on your birthdate then you'd still die from old age during that trip. But it's a pretty moot point, I doubt any Sliders or Pulsers have the resources to dilate time in a significant enough way to actually notice any effect on their aging, it's used sporadically and in short bursts.

They will, and Murphy will probably inflict that doom upon them single handedly within a few seconds, his powers are somewhat uniquely adept at dealing with a room full of crazy people with minor superpowers.

And in nearly a month we haven't even gotten a third of the way into this Questions thread either. Things have not been boding well of late. That's not a bad idea, I was going to wait til a bit of game time had passed but I suppose I can put the MEE and Murphy slightly ahead for now.

I'm sure we can find people to adopt them but with Jos characters still finding their footing in new peoples hands I worry it might take too long and we'll just go too long without posts for the new writers to practice.

You can if you want, people did tell me about weird cravings during pregnancy but I don't know if her craving for the unbridled soul of an enthusiastic Selian counts or not so I'm not sure whether or not I should be supporting that.

He doesn't actually spend that much time in speed bubbles though, and Bendalloy is pretty expensive, I'd be surprised if he's spent even close to a year inside one. As for the actual question it's somewhat tricky, I'm inclined to think you would age as normal, everything in a physical sense behaves as normal so it would make sense. But then the cosmere also has some kind of spiritual sense of how old you 'should' be, hence why TLR instantly aged to 1000 when his metalminds were removed. So the question really is could time bubbles alter that? My inclination would be that they do, they already have some ties to the spiritual so it's not at all unreasonable. Short answer: We don't have a definite yes or no but the evidence pretty strongly suggests that you would age as normal.

Just got a message that reads: You are the main character from the last book you read, who are you? Now I realized immediately that I would be someone from the cosmere but I had to think a bit to think of what the last book I read was, then I realized that it is of course secret history so I guess I'm a dead Kelsier. Still, made me appreciate all over again what an amazing book it is, a book about someone who's already dead and interacts with very few other people, it's mostly just Kelsier all alone. And yet Brandon somehow makes it one of the most interesting and engaging reads yet.

Sort of. There's stuff I can't go into here because it's spoiler territory but connection is comprised of much more than simply what magic system you use. Also mist isn't really gaseous Lerasium, Lerasium refers specifically to the solid metal form. A very nitpicky point but an important one, the mists are the gaseous form of Preservations Investiture while Lerasium is the solid form but mists are not just gaseous Lerasium.

More people leaving makes Voidus sad. I was hoping the release of Calamity might spark things up again.

More powerful as an allomancer doesn't necessarily mean more connected.

this actually explains how the lord ruler died (bands spoilers)
Voidus replied to king of nowhere's topic in Mistborn
Did she? But regardless his other metalminds weren't actually that Invested, Vin didn't seem to have any problems with the ones that weren't spikes even before she used the Mists. -
I believe we have WoB that you could store the extra strength from pewter or the extra senses from tin so I wouldn't instantly rule it out.

I've been adding alerts to the SH topics when I notice.

Voidus replied to king of nowhere's topic in Mistborn
Going off of some vague memories here but I believe the bands were just his Atiumminds, he had other pieces of metal on him that were presumably his other metalminds. -
I imagine it would let you hear the pulses louder but that doesn't necessarily mean you could pierce a coppercloud with it. Might increase your range though which would certainly be useful.

For creating the Reckoners RPs most hated character as well as its most beloved ship.

I can confirm that they are indeed Atium spikes that have stolen the sexiness of some of Scadrials most attractive corpses.
-
Just Yolen having it is more likely than multiple planets having it and Yolen in turn may have been created by Adonalsium who may have used omniscience to know what life is like on earth and duplicate it.
-
Well Scadrian life was created in its entirety by Shards so there's no Handwavium needed there.
-
Please keep BoM spoilers to the relevant subforum for now, once it's been two weeks since released they can be discussed elsewhere.
-
Sounds good to me, maybe a post in the rule/etiquette topic too. To clarify, I think what's being discussed is adopting Epics that are already in the game, not adopting Epics created by others that they don't want to use.

Yeah was going to mention this, we already have a few variants on it too, it's not as common as teleporting inexplicably is in Oregon but I still would rather we branched out a bit more in the powers department.

[Bands Spoilers] Having the has Sazed a Metal?
Voidus replied to NeutroniumAlchemist's topic in Mistborn
Just to clarify, any of the first group, not period, the first period is just Hydrogen and Helium. But yeah, Sodium is not all that impressive. I will point out though that I think it unlikely that Ettmetal is just a group 1 metal, mostly because any common group 1 metals would probably be vaguely known of by the Northerners and so the translation wouldn't mess up, but also because it seems a lot more stable, they don't seem to take any particular precautions in storing or handling it, it doesn't corrode as quickly as you'd expect, etc. I wonder if the exploding in water has more to do with trace minerals inside the water itself rather than some chemical interaction with water itself. -
Again, no SH spoilers outside of the subforum please.
