I don't think anyone did anything there, Brisbane got taken but I don't think the worldbuilding in Queensland extended out much other than the capital. Blackhoof and I are the only ones really active anymore (Mostly Blackhoof but if even 1 or 2 people particpated again I'd definitely jump back in)

Relatively so, but then part of that means Epics arriving wasn't quite so devastating as it would be in populated countries like the US. We were really only just getting into it but the idea was that eventually it would lead itself to large-scale interactions like diplomatic envoys or invading armies more than just a couple of Epics meeting up and getting into random mischief. The fixed time ratio would have meant that time proceeded a lot faster than other threads so interactions could be set up a few days in advance without players having to wait months and months.

It's set in Australia rather than a city in Oregon and at present each player is controlling an entire city rather than just a few Epics. We did also have a set game time: real time ratio so that people would post more frequently (1 week real time : 1 day game time) but then we lost a few players and then it was holidays so that's fallen apart a bit.

I hope it does, that is my fond hope, that Calamity's release will give a surge of RP activity across all threads and hopefully revitalize some a bit.

Not necessarily, all the uniquely Kandra abilities are purely genetic and shared by Mistwraiths who require no Hemalurgy, Hemalurgy just gives them sentience and I'm sure there are other ways to do that.

Oh right, I do remember that vaguely, it was an interesting concept but no I haven't put it in officially. And while looking for this discussion I also found some comments from when the Australia RP was just starting and looked really promising. *Glances at the aptly named Wastelands*

Already sent through PM but for the record: Epic name: Neverthere Powers: Astral Projection (T1)- can project an illusion of herself anywhere within a 50km radius, the illusion is capable of speech but cannot otherwise interact with physical objects, will blur into mist if touched. Neverthere receives all sensory information as she would if she were actually in her illusions position. Appearance: A young woman of 22 years of age, Neverthere commonly wears a t-shirt and skirt with no shoes, preferring bright colours such as pink (Somewhat less extreme than Funtimes) she continues to wear glasses even after becoming an Epic due to her former shortsightedness, her illusion is always an exact copy and so wears the same clothes as she does. She has a round face framed by black ringlets. MO: Bubbly and annoying Neverthere acts in an extremely irritating manner to both Vanillas and Epics, she has little to no fear of any confrontations as she uses her projection for most interactions with others. Also: YAY! Salem post! Can I make a statue in your honor Quiver?

Yeah I'm hoping that they're Svarkiss, although they could just be essentially Kandra just created by another Shard with some slight differences.

I'd rather it was completely hexadecimal based and we had 60 hours in a day, but when using the stupid system we're stuck with I tend to use 24 hour time anyway so I count 23,0,1,2,3 -

Just think of the minute afterwards, 1 minute past midnight is in the 'morning' half of the day so it must be 12:01 AM. I actually really enjoyed Calculus, I may have accidentally invented it once only to find out an hour later that some clever chap called Newton beat me to it by a few centuries. -
Right but I'm talking about just any old spaceship, not one that uses Bendalloy, Relativity dictates that time flows differently when travelling at speeds approaching c or around large enough gravity. So they could still experience an effect similar to Bendalloy without actually using Bendalloy, if it were true that your birthdate was the only factor in what your spiritual age is then even relativistic effects like that would be canceled out.

Since living things don't experience noticeable changes inside a bubble that means things such as chemistry proceed at a proportional rate so it's not just things moving faster. Not entirely sure what you're trying to say here, English is a little broken. But my point is that if Bendalloys time reference isn't taken into account because your 'spiritual' age is simply the current date minus your birthdate then that wouldn't just apply to Bendalloy it would apply to other relativistic time differences. EDIT: If this is the case however and you age relative to what you would be outside of time bubbles then an immortal with Cadmium and Duralumin could do some pretty serious damage, just Duralumin-burst a Cadmium bubble and instantly age the people nearby a few years, continue til they die.

I would but there was supposed to be a meetup between characters that's just been stalled for ages.

*Insert forever alone meme* I do worry about that too, I feel like too many RPs are getting too bloated, Portland had that problem shortly before we closed it off to new Epics, we had like a dozen new characters all at once and I don't think any of them really stuck around to do much. Salem on the other hand is suffering from lack of plot at the moment so I encourage new players to try it out to get something happening outside the Arena.
