  1. Well he originally wanted the Lerasium to become an Allomancer. Which doesn't necessarily guarantee a connection to Preservation.
  2. Depends on the type of cosmere-relevance you're looking for. Mistborn and Stormlight are probably the next big ones for what the Shards are getting up to, Elantris will probably have some tidbits on the nature of the realms and such.
  3. They could but then most of their viewpoints are just internal monologue, given how long game days have been the times that they'd actually be away and able to plot would be pretty far apart. But I suppose if enough people made Vanilla characters it could work, guards could talk to each other when not around Epics, servants could spit in Epics tea while they're unobserved and gossip, etc.
  4. Well you're trying to do both, rip one soul out and stuff another one in. Heart seems like a good spot.
  5. Vanilla characters can certainly be interesting, my concern is more about their involvement with the plot, without some kind of protection most interesting Vanilla characters would be murdered pretty quickly.
  6. The problem is that without being able to use either the Reckoners or Epic tech for fear of breaking canon there's a limited amount of plausible vanillas to play as. Our Vanillas thus far have mostly either been the in charge of a city or protected by other Epics.
  7. It's also not likely to be unique to Scadrial, if fortune exists as a storable trait that means it's a quantifiable trait in the cosmere, knowledgable worldhoppers would be aware of it.
  8. Meta powers are possible but I'm not sure on stealing them, particularly from Epics who are already dead. Other than that it's a broad powerset but not anything I'd call OP, and if you want her to take on an Epic hunting role then you should know she'd probably get murdered pretty quickly
  9. I'm still of the opinion that Vin and co. would have noticed if TLR had any metalminds of an unknown metal.
  10. Timelines don't quite match up unless the Ghostbloods have been around for a very long time.
  11. Marsh could be considered a Mistborn technically, others might be too, there is a certain person walking around with a Lerasium bead... But aside from those the title 'Mistborn' just sounds better than the potentially more accurate 'Metalborn' I guess.
  12. I liked that religion, makes sense too. Assuming you're an average person who will live an average life then an approximately equal amount of bad and good things will happen to you.
  13. Well the clues in the name, Hemalurgy generally requires blood. Other than that you'd need to hit a bind point which planets probably don't have and if you did pull that off you'd probably just blow up both planets with the force of the missile
  14. After getting a present for Scribbler of course.
  15. Early plans for era 2 (Former era 2 that is, now era 3) were a Nicrosil misting in something like a SWAT team chasing down a Mistborn serial killer. Now as was mentioned all we know is that it's a terriswoman programmer, I think the first idea was before the W&W Quadrilogy was thought of so it might be that Brandons now done the detective thing and wants to try a new character, or maybe the programmer is still working to take down a Mistborn, it's been a while since we heard about it so who knows?
  16. Do we have confirmation that Ettmetal isn't one of the god metals? I was under the distinct impression that it's almost certainly Harmonium.
  17. Personally I don't think she's particularly unlucky just that if someone believes she is it doesn't have to have a supernatural reason behind it. I doubt someone would just carry around a chunk of pure chromium and both not notice they're a chromium ferring and unconsciously store in it.
  18. I just chalked it up to watching the world end, taking up the power of two gods and perhaps being able to sense Kels mind through Preservations power, causing him to get a different view.
  19. Well the fact that Fortune exists at all as a storable trait means that people in the cosmere do have an inherent amount of luck, Steris might have just been born with terrible luck.
  20. See this makes me even more interested in the glass beads thing in Shadesmar, at first I just thought it was unrelated to spheres but now it's pretty obvious that there must be some connection. But then why would they be Spheres? Why not Stormlight? Or a Highstorm? Or heck even just a regular old gemstone, there's nothing special about spheres in particular, they're not even natural it's just a way of holding a certain amount of gemstone and turning it into currency. I am confuse about Roshar right now.
  21. Well 'oh' is another way of saying 0, and 'my' is said phonetically as m-i and MI is 1001, so I guess that means 'oh my' = 01001?
  22. I imagine it's pretty similar to spren, they're cognitive shadows who are trying to interact with the physical realm but they don't have anything connecting them to the physical so they go all stupid.
  23. I was wondering if the masks might have something to do with it, it's probably just a cultural thing but the only thing I can think of that TLR could have done is either alter their environment or do something with the masks.
  24. I did get a bit confused by Hoid arriving at the Well Good to know that it was planned. Although now I really want to know what he was up to in Terris when all the action was happening in Luthadel.
