  1. I think he meant do we know the ratio of metals that we need for an allomantically viable burn so that after the starter stash runs out we can get more.
  2. Well no one's burned the new metal yet and Hemalurgy is universal so that could still work without needing to significantly Invest.
  3. Actually pure gold would be one of the easier ones, it's naturally pure, granted jewelers usually alloy it otherwise it's too soft but I don't doubt that it'd be pretty easy if you knew where to look. Allomantically sound pewter however would be nearly impossible with how many different types there are. But then I live in Australia and we're just lousy with mines so it'd probably be pretty easy to get any of them here.
  4. Personally I'm of the opinion that the spren would go stupid due to their original bondee dying but the power they impart remains and is siphoned through the spike.
  5. Welcome to the forums! While difficult to eat, hemalurgic cookies do have the benefit of giving you super powers.
  6. Comatose. I might have referenced it at some point but I don't think I've really discussed it at all. Cornucopia would not be fond of a lot of animals but she does like birds. Though she will kill any rabbits on sight.
  7. Should work fine if it's permanent, though having it be long-lasting but still not permanent would probably be better for plot purposes. I have a standard ranking for powers but that's just because I have a list of thousands of Epic ideas and I needed a way to rank them against each other, the RP doesn't have anything as a standard. Speed and pretty much anything is strong but mostly because lightning is also near-instantaneous which leads to very effective ambushes and such, plus a few other reasons that I may one day reveal but are not good unless we want to drastically speed up the level of destroying cities
  8. Nope. But they do travel so no reason they couldn't take up somewhere if needed. Portlands cell just got massacred though and they wouldn't be in the Dalles and Astoria is probably way too dangerous for any team other than Profs, so Corvallis or Salem I suppose would be the only options.
  9. Welcome to the RP, first off, the forum generally discourages double or triple posting, just edit any new stuff in to your last comment. On the character I honestly think a speed secondary would probably make them a bit overpowered when combined with a lightning primary like that. As long as the range isn't at Steelheart levels personally I don't see the problem with the first Secondary power of causing materials to become conductive, we do have Epics capable of terraforming or drastically changing areas, some of the most memorable scenes in the RP were just that, the Funtimes/Lightwards/Nighthound fight, the raising of the museum, the panda attacks, more recently the Arsenal/Quicksilver battle. Regalia, Steelheart, Obliteration and Nightwielder all had powers capable of effecting an entire city, as did Conflux arguably. Brandon even has a specific set of rules for those types of powers so I don't think they're all that rare in canon. Steel transmutation was also probably Steelhearts primary but there's not really a clear distinction between a primary and secondary, just switch the first two powers around so the lightnings the secondary and it works I'd say. On weaknesses yeah that has to effect everything, although the notable exception is that weaknesses don't effect the powers of large-scale effects like Nightwielders sun-blocking or Steelhearts transmutation.
  10. Well he did have children (Or at least a child) at some point. But yeah, I doubt he would have given them Lerasium and allowed them to keep breeding unchecked. I also think it's incredibly unlikely that people wouldn't know that. And also no feruchemist Nobles have been born so far as we know.
  11. The Survivor: Double gold and Allomantic tin, survive from pretty much anything, gold is actually pretty common and in a zombie apocalypse only other gold ferrings are going to want it. Tin to detect Zombies and potential human enemies coming. Lives through the apocalypse perfectly fine, avoids both people and zombies whenever possible and relies on his healing to get through the rest. The fighter: Feruchemical pewter, Allomantic steel and Allomantic iron. Given that zombies tend to rely on hordes there will likely be fairly long periods available to store strength, in addition to the obvious physical benefits it can also be used to increase and decrease weight slightly to allow for more control with both pushes and pulls. Takes the fight to the zombies, attacking them from a distance with nearby metal before closing the gap and using the agility provided by steel and iron to control the battle, punching zombie heads in as needed. Probably gets bitten and dies but takes out a lot of zombies first. The Gambler: double Chromium and Feruchemical duralumin. Compounding luck obviously provides myriad benefits in and of itself but the Gambler plans beyond that, he sets himself up with another group of survivors, gaining their trust quickly with his Connector abilities and bringing success to the whole group with his luck. When this group inevitably encounters a rival group who may have Metalborn of their own the Gambler can if necessary drain the other metalborns reserves and using a combination of luck and connection, convince them to join forces. He eventually builds a successful settlement filled with other metalborn. The broken: Double steel and literally anything else since it doesn't matter. Steel, it is useful both allomantically and feruchemically and when compounded is just completely broken. It is also commonly available pretty much everywhere. The Broken whizzes through the apocalypse, entire hordes die before they even realize what happened, bandits see a brief blur and then realize their weapons have all been stolen, rival metalborn are peppered with sharp pieces of metal seemingly shot from a thousand different directions.
  12. As was mentioned a spike has to go through a bind point (Typically the heart or another vital organ) to become charged, simply dipping it in blood isn't enough.
  13. Well there is a giant building falling towards her that she's fully capable of freezing and such an act would undoubtedly crank her corruption up a few notches. I think she'll be too busy Tsuning though.
  14. Unfortunately I'm sworn to secrecy, otherwise Chaos will get angry at me. It does indeed and I feel confident in hiding superfluous stuff here even if I don't really want to use my mod-powers anywhere else in the forums much. Done. Well, good and mischief. I do like leaving edit messages on peoples posts for no reason Still that's a pretty far cry from Lucentia, I'm at MV levels of evil.
  15. Well Ruins metal is known and I don't think there's any way Harmony wouldn't be able to tell if there was a spare bit of Ruin going around causing havok.
  16. Annoying thing about Mod powers: Being able to read hidden posts and wondering why people hid them since they seem to be perfectly fine. #Firstworldproblems ... Oh dear god, I'm turning into Lucentia, someone shoot me now before I start complaining about how long I'm going to have to wait for a coffee since I broke all the Baristas legs.
  17. I think you're right. But if you ever publish it I will never speak to you again. (Unless you donate the money to the clone Brandon Sanderson charity so he can write twice as many books at a time. )
  18. Shards tend to have different specialties but are broadly speaking all more or less capable of the same feats. Magic arises naturally from the interaction of the world and the Shards Investiture, so the world itself defines what the magic is/does as well as what Shard it is. (Though the Shards intent seems to not influence the types of power but merely how they are gained)
  19. They can be spiked individually or jointly.
  20. Voidus teleported into keep Awkward, arriving in a shadowy blur as he preferred. Almost as soon as he'd materialized however he was hit by two rather substantial books. He whirled around to face the culprit, a red welt forming just next to his eyespike. "Hey! That was... um..." As always upon entering keep Awkward, Voidus had a somewhat different personality, most of his other personalities had been removed by spikings over the years but Awkward!Voidus had never been defeated. "Um... that kind of, you know hurt a bit and you know you maybe shouldn't throw books like that in an active teleportation zone. Please." Rather than make eye-contact, Voidus pulled a book out and sat down to read.
  21. Arrow spoilers
  22. One does not simply not spike someone you're trying to kill. At least not if you're a lurker of the DA.
  23. I tried to kill time once but I couldn't find any useful bind points.
  24. Parties, research, unholy screams of damned souls doomed to wander for all eternity after a lifetime of horror and experimentation, Happy hour every now and then. You know, usual stuff.
