The reason MV is so OP, she has no limits other than what's available. (Which would make for an interesting limit on inertia too, only being able to swap inertia rather than just changing it at will)

Inertia? Depends by what degree but it wouldn't be too bad if it had reasonable limits, mostly it'd just be like altering mass but with a few weird effects. If it wasn't limited at all then that's universe-destroying since you could just drop a quarter and use it to shove the earth out of orbit EDIT: Also depending on how exactly it worked it might kill anyone you used it on.

I would be very surprised if a question on a test was 'if a supervillain with acess to a magical power let them remove all normal force from an object, what would happen?' I just spend a lot of time thinking about Epic powers and physics.

Depends on the jewel and whether or not she can control things like where fractures and cleavage planes are.

Removal of the normal force would remove air resistance so it wouldn't have a terminal velocity but it wouldn't instantly accelerate it. If there's no normal force then that's functionally identical to being intangible, I actually quite like it as an explanation of the intangibility, though it would make for some weird interactions.

They broke their leg when a train of donkeys broke out and stampeded him, they were assaulted at a young age and their attacker flailed at them, eventually leaving several deep scratches that became scars and resulted in being ostracized, they drowned in a salty lake or the ocean, a librarian who wore glasses tried to molest them, their grandfather died when they were very young from a terminal case of cancer.

No she wouldn't be the popular mean girl, she'd be a shy girl who hangs out in the library but secretly spreads tries to ruin everyone else's life. Spreading rumors, stealing homework and assignments, false reports and so on. She's just a sociopath who enjoys chaos.

Does this rule apply to me? Because I might not be able to sleep ever if I have to write out scenes for all my Epics too.

Is there any kind of PM or collab for the Arsenal/Quicksilver fight? I just don't want to do a Scribbler response only for there to be a nuke launched that she should have noticed or something

Not necessarily, all it had to do was make the metal at some point, somewhere. Which honestly does sound pretty in line with a Shard that wants to be left alone, not much to do but play around with your Shardic powers. Doesn't have to be a Shard she was talking to, a Splinter or a Sliver or even just a particularly Invested individual might be able to pull it off. Again it's not necessarily the plans of the Shard. It could be Odium framing some other Shard and hoping Harmony takes him out, killing another Shard and simultaneously distracting and likely weakening Harmony. Or just some worldhopper who found the metal in their travels and is putting it to use without the Shards approval.

The Billboard (sort of a game but with guilds)
Voidus replied to Citadel16's topic in General Discussion
If you took all the worms on earth and laid them end-to-end, you would destroy thousands of ecosystems and possibly lead to the destruction of life on earth. You'd also have a really long worm-chain. -
The Shard itself might not be directing events though, the god metal could be being used without its knowledge.

What do you mean busted? Some people just hate cookies and so they tell people not to eat them. We continue to offer deliciousness in spite of those poor souls.

It's not a cosmere reference, it's a forum reference Ages ago someone made a poll of what your favorite magic system was and I was the only one who picked Hemalurgy, so someone created a 'list of people to avoid in Dark Alleys' eventually I decided to just make a guild out of it, stop by the social guilds and check it out if you're curious.

There's one other Shard we've been told about but don't know the name of, if Brandon was being particularly tricky he could have classified that as us 'knowing of' that Shard.

The Dark Alley has certain ways around that...

What about if I offered you a plate of chocolate cookies that would give you the ability to Soulcast annoying people into chocolate statues?
