  1. This is the most common first theory people post. I am not a fan, but there are plenty of people who would agree with you.
  2. @Landis963 he seems too important, and if the kandra have a non-intervention (prime directive ish) policy, Mrall would have to break it, being a bodyguard and right hand man to Mr. T.
  3. Isn't that the gimmick from mass effect? Putting power through element 0 decreases your mass enough to go an appreciable fraction of the speed of light?
  4. Zahel/Vasher got separated from Nightblood after he got to Roshar, but he still misses his sword. Ownership goes Vasher>???>Nin/darkness>Szeth
  5. How do we know undead refers to lifeless? Vasher is undead and he has no problems wielding it.
  6. Point, but my idea still can stand as "cultivation altered the parshendi to absorb Odium's investiture."
  7. odium avoided investing to keep his power up. The listeners are somehow related to cultivation and odium. What if cultivation created them as an investiture sponge for Odium to keep him bound to the rosharan system, and Odium's goal is to kill off the parshendi, and only cares about humanity insofar as they are capable of genocide? That could be the reason the knights disbanded.
  8. Books aren't necessarily where we will see tons of new worlds. Our glimpse of threnody and first of the sun came from short stories.
  9. Is "I will destroy evil" an oath of an order of the knights radiants?
  10. @The One Who Connects, I think @The Flash means pre-final empire feruchemists. I think I remember seeing that the worldbringers knew quite a bit about feruchemy, but I can't source that.
  11. Can you trap any type of spren in any type of gem?
  12. Would Alcatraz consider awakening a science or magic?
  13. @Extesian, @Yata, in his Alcatraz vs. Evil Librarians series Sanderson draws a strong distinction between magic and science. Magic has some sort of prerequisites, like genetics or a cracked soul, while science, however unusual, can be operated by anyone.
  14. @Thanatos, no. Duralumin and Nicrosil both use whatever metals you have in one burst. No extra power is gained from this, sort of like using your feruchemical reserves all at once.
  15. While I have no problem with trell/autonomy, my money is on trell/ambition, with some help from autonomy.
  16. I thought this topic was going to be about Bavadin's tomatoes, or roses, or perhaps grapes.
  17. To solidly cement this theory, I thought Asyldin acted as a nurse in HoA also.
  18. What source did this come from? I've never seen it before.
  19. My guess is he will die mid-Oathbringer, and his flashbacks will continue throughout the book.
  20. @Obnoxiousspren, gj on the SLA, we also got confirmation that the nurse in warbreaker is a terriswoman, if you want to add her to the list.
  21. 1 Why would Kelsier store (and as a consequence, lose) his memory of meeting the southern scadrians? 2 how did Hoid (someone Kelsier dislikes) get hold of it?
