  1. ?? I thought you proposed this, overstorm.
  2. No prob. Everything is difficult to spell at 2 in the morning. Welcome to the shard. Has anyone offered you cookies yet? They're delicious (and ruin your appetite).
  3. This is one I have never seen proposed before. Where did you come up with the name? Your description sounds more like barren (A place things can't grow) than Baron (A medieval lord)
  4. This has been brought up before.
  5. @Hyarmenatan *epicanthic*
  6. The spiritual realm is where the bulk of Adonalsium's power was contained; no, there is no other God there. That being said, the God Beyond exists in the Beyond, the afterlife, that not even shards can see. The God Beyond is closer in function and perception to the Christian God than Adonalsium.
  7. And no, he doesn't want to open himself to that kind of influence. ...and calderis actually provides a source, instead of just spouting facts that he got from someone somewhere..
  8. ?? Can you perhaps expand this? I'm not sure I understand.
  9. I thought this got cleared up, that Hoid and Frost are the 2 oldest non-shards we have "seen"
  10. If "I will destroy evil wherever I find it" or something similar is an oath of an order of knight radiants, that would make things considerably streamlined.
  11. Unless, of course, Harmony is producing harmonium (normally) and atium (to offset the piece of preservation in humanity) to keep himself balanced
  12. To be clear, @Tharandin, Miles is not technically immortal. He can't be killed, and he will be in perfect health until he dies of old age. Atium compounding is necessary to achieve agelessness. (But yeah. Gold compounding rocks.)
  13. Worshipping for cognitive shadows (like heralds) is extremely difficult, because the investiture ties you to a specific place. See also: Kelsier in MB:SH
  14. At the end of edgedancer chapter 3, Hauka notices black dust at her feet after Lift escapes. This is Wyndle's ash/dissolved bits, right? I ask because Hauka sees the grain glowing and I got a very white sand vibe, even though nothing links them.
  15. @Yata, sorry I couldn't get the quote boxes to work. I wanted to know the same things, I just copied and pasted hawkido's post. It is fixed now.
  16. @Hawkido Where did you get these wild guesses you are dressing up as fact about Ashyn?
  17. Also, a noob shard _could_ be a threat because they are not as limited by their shards intent. See Vin vs. Ruin
  18. We could call the unit of investiture a Khriss, and the fundamental particle, (like an electron or graviton) an investon.
  19. HFC, this necro.
  20. http://www.theoryland.com/intvsresults.php?kwt='oathpact' 2nd result: QUESTION () How many parties were there to the original Oathpact? BRANDON SANDERSON The Heralds and Honor. They thought that by walking away from their oaths, that it would break the Oathpact. They're going to find out that it's not quite as broken as they had previously thought (meaning the Heralds). @Azrael
  21. @SilverTiger, Sanderson is a member of the church of the latter day saints, (Mormon) which has roots in Christianity much as Christianity does to Judaism.
  22. @ethan_sedai, as someone told me once upon a forever ago, now I pass the torch to you. It is good forum etiquette to not double post. Instead of posting another comment after one of your own, use the "edit post" button and add your new insights to the old post.
  23. 1. These are not all elantrians, only galladon is. 2. Hoid is not a shard. 3. The God king and awakening are from Nalthis, not Sel. What does the last part of your post mean? (From *As in any kingdom* onward) I am confused. Also, the last post on this thread was over 7 years ago.
