  2. @ookla the aes sedai I think he means the investiture stage is only in the transition. Basically you’re (physical body) transferring into investiture (to travel to cognitive) and popping out of investiture (back to physical form, but in the cognitive), so...
  3. @SzerhisbadasHell, is your name misspelled?
  4. @Cephandrius Everstorm https://wob.coppermind.net/events/173-oathbringer-san-francisco-signing/#e8340 Here ya go.
  5. What is up with all the different ooklas?
  6. @Sairys, I feel like half of your post is redundant.
  7. @Sairys, I have never seen a more divergent post count and quality of post. Welcome. It's good to have you.
  8. @LordJedue, we will see Vivenna in Oathbringer https://wob.coppermind.net/events/120-warsaw-signing/#e1892
  9. Maybe siblings? Longtime platonic friends?
  10. Princess bride: A grandpa cheers up his sick grandson.
  11. I thought investiture, when left alone, gained sentience and consciousness except for Devotion and Dominion. That was why Odium stuffed them in the CR, so noone/thing could pick it up.
  12. Life before death Strength before weakness Journey before destination
  13. https://wob.coppermind.net/basic_search/?query=Zahel+vasher Read the first couple entries. Cool behind the scenes stuff. @Krypton Savant
  14. @skaa, @Leyrann Jasnah makes the exact same analogy at the beginning of WoR. But, for a long time people erroneously compared atoms to solar systems, so in world explanations are not necessarily the best explanations.
  15. I think they can be affected by physical powers, but not cognitive ones like emotional allomancy. Not really any basis for this, just my theory. In the process of looking through WoBs, I found this. Just the person burning is immune, not everyone else. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/91-general-twitter-2015/#e784
  16. @ethan_sedai, @Sariel https://wob.coppermind.net/events/100-rbooks-ama-2015/#e3560 https://wob.coppermind.net/events/181-stormlight-three-update-4/#e3793 Yes.
  17. The oathpact is between Honor and Heralds, and is not the reason Odium is bound, but it is related. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/76-shadows-of-self-chicago-signing/#e6273 https://wob.coppermind.net/events/77-shadows-of-self-lansing-signing/#e6819 https://wob.coppermind.net/events/36-arcanum-unbounded-chicago-signing/#e1550 Switch these.

  19. @emailanimal, this topic isn't marked OB spoilers, so could you put your post in spoiler tags? Pretty please?
  20. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/77-shadows-of-self-lansing-signing/#e6819 sorry, not quite.
  21. Didn't some dude get a bunch of food during a famine as his boon? As for Dawnshards, I think they are whatever the gem that stayed lit for 200 years is. Whether because they are perfectly cut, or magic, they can hold investiture indefinitely.
  22. @Brightlord Maelstrom, Yeah. The part you quoted, in its entirety, not in spoiler tags, should be in spoiler tags.
