    @Ashspren, there is an Oathbringer meme thread for OB spoilers. They are not allowed in general Brandon, even in spoilers. Spoilers for everything else must be in spoiler tags (Fist pump baby and Leonardo toasting, for instance)

    Wasn't Kelsier turned into a cognitive shadow by preservation, using preservation's investiture at the well of ascension? He still wasn't connected enough to preservation to naturally take up the power until he broke the ball of connection.

    All of the god metals are solid investiture, and the Cosmere follows our laws plus investiture. Thus, I don't believe any god metal would be naturally (on earth) occurring. Far more likely, to me, is that Adonalsium's god metal is the eponymous Dragonsteel.
