  1. It hasn't been released. Brandon has read a little bit of what he has written of it during the WoR tour though.
  2. I think the name "The Stormlight Archive" has to do with the fact that the names of the novels are also the names of in-world books. So they are a collection of books (an archive) pertaining to Roshar (which has stormlight).
  3. I'm pretty sure I read it in the database. Actually Brandon has said there is no connection between Ati the shardholer and Aon Ati, that they aren't even pronounced the same.
  4. There is the Ultimate List in the Cosmere theories forum
  5. Well latitude can be (fairly) easily determined by the stars. And Longitude is pretty much completely arbitrary, they could place the Prime Meridian whereever they want. (The current Earth Prime Meridian runs through the Greenich Observatory in London but at one point some organizations placed it running through Rome/Vatican City)
  6. A recent WoB sheds light on this: (source) This has been asked, and it is a theoretical yes.
  7. I believe that the Worldsinger/bringer similarity has something to do with Hoid, i.e. he was involved in the genesis of both groups. I want to say there is WoB on that, but I'm not sure.
  8. The actual Brandon quote was "There is a shard who just wants to hide and survive" I believe. Also I think we can definitively say it is not held by Bavadin. That quote was from someone asking for information about a shard we hadn't heard about, and we already knew that Bavadin's Shard was on Taldain.
  9. Hey, thanks for the report, but would you mind posting it in the Lexington signing thread in the Events forum? That is where signing reports should be going.
  10. It's been brought up, and discounted. The text indicates Urithiru is in the mountains near Emul.
  11. It is not the case, but is a common mistake due to similarities in naming. Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell takes place on Threnody. The Silence Divine takes place on Ashyn, which is a planet in the Greater Roshar system.
  12. Oh don't worry, you weren't jerkish, just uninformed. As for getting more people, that is for the higher-ups do decide but I know they want to keep access limited.
  13. I would say yes they are related (although distantly), and yes they know. Their ancestors played fairly significant roles in surviving the apocalypse so I find it unlikely they wouldn't know Breeze and Allrianne Cett were an item. But yes, they would both be decendents of Ashweather Cett, but depending on any intermarriage over the last 341 years, they would not be considered closely related.
  14. Only a limited number of people can add interviews to the database, and we have all been really busy lately. Your signing report should just go in the Events forum and it will get added, eventually...
  15. To my knowledge nothing has been released about the game. I've been hoping someone would ask Brandon about it. (Or that Peter might enlighten us) I hope this becomes a long running thing with releases, that each book gets a new figure to play the game with.
  16. It is WoB: (source) Stealing sDNA is essentially what all Hemalurgy does. I believe Brandon has RAFO'd the questions pertaining to lerasium's other uses.
  17. Yeah, that has to be a mistake. The Silence Divine defintitely takes place on Ashyn and Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell defintiely takes place on Threnody.
  18. There is WoB that Splintering can be reversed: (source)
  19. So according to someone on twitter, this is going to be a ticketed event (you need a receipt from any Barnes and Noble for Words of Radiance).
  20. Could you post this in the thread in the Events forum? That is where signing reports are supposed to go.
  21. Brandon has said that plate tectonics are not a factor on the Rosharan supercontinent.
  22. Where do you get that figure? Kaladin is 20 by the end of The Way of Kings. Rosharan years are equal to 1.1 Earth years, so Kaladin would be 22 in Earth years.
  23. Congrats on your first theory! However I think it is a definitive no. The Stormlight Archive is roughly cotemporaneous with The Alloy of Law so Sazed has held Harmony for about 340 years. Contrast that with this quote from the Response. So Rayse has been held captive for far longer than Sazed has held Harmony (far longer than Sazed has even been alive) by at least a thousand years.
