  1. Question, did Tyn's ghostblood assassins drown following the attack? I assume they did.
  2. Just a thought could nalan have saved Szeth in order to set him against the stone shamans, not for revenge or justice, but for something more tangable, 7 honorblades. Tipping the balance of power on roshar.
  3. I see Darkness and Szeth going to shinovar and leaving with the honorblades. That would make them much stronger than our new KR. They will battle each other.
  4. In Szeth he sees a weapon like everyone else has so far. They may not b surgebinders now, but if they can get the honourblades in shinovar, to go along w darkness's honorblade? And nightblood, they have an arsenal that eclipses our current KR. It sets up new heralds vs new KR.
  5. I think Jasnahs theory is clearly the true one. I think the shin and darkness are frantically trying to prove themselves right despite evidence they r wrong. Basically denial.
  6. I think nalan is using Szeth to go to shinovar and liberate the seven honorblades so that his neo skybreakers can be on at the very least equal footing with new radiants. He would have an advantage in my estimation. A huge advantage unless the KR get an influx of members. Nalan might recruit, to szeths dismay, the stone shamans to his side, because they will be proficient w blades. This is an arc we could see in book 3.
  7. I have a similar theory about these "godspren" for lack of a better word, being the dawnshards. And hence bondsmiths having access to dawnshards. The more I think about it, it seems to be one or the other, and I like your theory. Idk. That's the fun of speculations. I have a related question, does the nightwatcher equal the old magic, or does it only make up some of it. Basically is there more old magic or just the nightwatcher.
  8. Makes sense.
  9. This just makes sense there r prolly ten of them. The stormfather is most likely one. Since brandon said one was different from the rest, maybe one is evil or bound to someone evil.
  10. I thought they were a kind of shardblades.
  11. Sorry phone keeps changing spren to soreness.
  12. Branding did get very descriptive in the scene when Adolin was having a hard time keeping the focus it took to throw his blade. That was a dead, mindless soreness so maybe a live soreness has similar capabilities.
  13. Namely the stormfather is a dawnshard. We may see Dalinar control the highstorm with one later on and the possibilities are endless. Anyone find this plausible.
  14. What if dawnshards are the godspren so to speak, including the Stormfather, Cuctish(so). Then maybe we will see dalinar wield one. He could control the storm. I think this could be it.
  15. It occurs to me that since a soreness can effectively become any weapon during a fight, can u use one to kill over a long distance. What are the limitations? Maybe this is a dumb question, but maybe the shardblades are only scratching the surface.
